We're back to Aberrus in this week's look back at the logs! Devastation floats to the top, as Unholy fights to retain its overall No.1, while Assassination puts in a very strong showing as well. Let's get to it!
Note: We are using Normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. The u.gg rankings at the bottom are raw DPS. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it's AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.
      Mythic
      Overall Damage 95th Percentile
Devastation is profiling itself as the new overall-all-3-raid No.1, as it follows up its great performance in Vault with the top spot here in Aberrus! Only its poor performance in Amirdrassil is keeping it from the very top, but Unholy still holds on to that one, with another very solid No.3 this week. With Assassination it's a bit of an Aberrus-only great performance for the spec in No.2, while Arms is doing well across the board, easily grabbing the overall third spot! Shadow is at its best in Aberrus this week, while Retribution is very comfortable hovering around the middle of the top 10. Frost Mage is up while Frost DK is down as the two meet, while Arcane and Havoc close out the top 10. Subtlety is definitely the consensus worst spec in Season 4 Awakened raids, even beating out the incorrectly logged Augmentation for the prize. Fury joins the bottom 3 this week.

95th percentile Mythic data by Warcraft Logs.
      Overall Damage All Percentiles
Assassination takes the lead and shows just how good it is in Aberrus, as it's doing quite well in all the raids here in the generalist bracket. Arms is still the definitive No.1 overall, while Retribution is steadily moving on up grabs 2nd, with this strong third spot this week.
All percentiles Mythic data by Warcraft Logs.
      Boss Only Damage All Percentiles
Unholy remains in charge overall, despite Assassination's win this week, as the two specs clash at the top, with Arms sitting comfortably in 3rd and Retribution in 4th across all three raids.
All percentiles Mythic data by Warcraft Logs.
      Heroic
      Overall Damage All Percentiles
As usual, Heroic doesn't really care what raid is up this week, as the rankings are pretty stable across the board, with Retribution doing a little better this week.

All percentiles Heroic data by Warcraft Logs.

      U.GG Raw Mythic DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks. This chart is for Mythic only.
Aberrus is definitely the right spot for Assassination, as the Rogue finds itself on top in the raw DPS chart as well! Retribution is the overall winner across all three raids, however, with Arms coming in second. Devastation is doing really well both here and in the Vault, but Amirdrassil is still its weak spot.
      Mythic chart by u.gg.

Meanwhile, if you're looking for more information you can check out our Dragonflight class guides, Vault, Aberrus and Amirdrassil boss guides, the raid DPS tier list, as well as more data from Warcraft Logs here.

It's been a big week for game improvements, with many hotfixes coming in across three game modes, so here they all are! Remix: Mists of Pandaria lead the way with a huge amount of changes, mostly in the form of reparations for various hyperspawn farm spot removals. Many sources of Bronze and XP were buffed, scaling was nerfed for higher levels, and many bugs fixed.

Meanwhile in Cataclysm Classic, there was a lot to fix after launch, from issues with high level PvP gear mistakenly becoming available, to Honor vendors missing, direct access to Vash'jir, many quest fixes and more! Even regular old Dragonflight 10.2.7 for a fix in!
      Hotfix Summary (Source)
      10.2.7

      Non-Player Characters
Doc Nanners in Valdrakken will again offer players "A Cataloger's Paradise" upon reaching Renown 8 with the Dragonscale Expedition. WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria
For everyone that did not take advantage of the frog farming, we’re providing three additional quests with large Bronze rewards for reaching levels 50, 60, and 70. These quests will become available from Momentus the item upgrader at the Jade Forest Infinite Bazaar. These milestone quests will grant characters an additional 3,000, 7,000, and 30,000 Bronze, respectively. Level 70 Timerunners will be able to complete all three quests immediately for 40,000 additional Bronze when this change takes effect. Normal scenarios, Normal dungeons, Heroic scenarios, Heroic dungeons, and daily Infinite Bazaar quests now award a Cache containing 5x as much Bronze as before. Developers' notes: We intend for players to earn more Bronze as you level up, so you can more easily start purchasing upgrades and rewards. At level 70, these caches now award 8750 Bronze (this was previously 1750 Bronze). Fixed an issue where the Celestial Court bosses on the Timeless Isle would occasionally despawn. Fixed a bug affecting the scaling of certain Tinker gems. Putrid Waste enemies in Throne of Thunder no longer deal extreme amounts of Putrify damage. Brewmaster Blanche now queues you for A Brewing Storm when asked. The Paragon of the Mists title is now account wide. Added clarity to the quest "The Great Water Hunt" to speak with Mudmug before gathering water. Nostwin now sells Glyph of Shadow for Priests. Fixed an issue preventing the quest "Where are My Reinforcements?" from proceeding as expected. Improved the respawn rate and treasure from rares and rare elites across Pandaria. Increased the amount of bronze and raised the drop chance for threads of time from airborne bronze. Fixed an issue where players who faction-changed could not use the group finder for dungeons and scenarios. Fixed an issue preventing the quest “Riding the Skies” from granting the appropriate Cloud Serpent mount. Fixed an issue causing Wise Mari in the Temple of the Jade Serpent to not spawn Corrupt Living Water as intended. Hutia was out of control in the Jade Forest, and has been convinced to relax a bit and stop hitting so hard. We have made the following changes to improve Thread of Time gain for the Cloak of Infinite Potential. Our goal with these additional items is to give players access to more Threads of Time from daily repeatable sources. These should serve as readily attainable power-ups from a wide variety of content, so players can enjoy the breadth of Pandaria while also gaining additional power. There are four new items that grant players escalating amounts of power for the Cloak of Infinite Potential: Minor Spool of Eternal Thread Lesser Spool of Eternal Thread Spool of Eternal Thread Greater Spool of Eternal Thread Players will be able to find these new items from a variety of solo and group sources, ensuring all players have accessible ways to improve their cloak: Infinite Bazaar Repeatable Dailies First-Time Daily Scenario, Dungeon, and each LFR queue World Bosses Remix Achievements Each of these achievements are available for additional characters to complete as well for bonus Bronze - and now bonus Spools of Eternal Thread. Troves of the Thunder King scenario on the Isle of Thunder We’ve made the following changes and bugfixes are intended to address concerns about the balance of low- and high-level players in various Remix content. The health of creatures in heroic scenarios has been decreased by 20% - 25%, based on the players’ levels. Higher level players will see enemies incur a larger decrease. The health and damage of creatures on the Timeless Isle, Isle of Giants, and Isle of Thunder has been reduced. Several spell gems (that were not scaling up or down correctly based on player level) have been adjusted so that they provide a more-appropriate scaling effect. This includes Cold Front, Windweaver, Vampiric Aura, and Lightning Rod. Spell gems with shielding effects should no longer cause threat. Fixed a bug with Righteous Frenzy not canceling upon the end of combat. Timerunner’s Vial mana regen significantly increased. Adjusted the reputation granted from Granite Quilen to be more in line with expected values. Fixed an issue in Guo-Lai Halls causing trap tiles to flicker. Shirts and tabards can now be purchased from Larah Treebender <World Apparel> at any Infinite Bazaar, Mei Steadypaw <Barber> outside the Shrine of Two Moons and the Shrine of Seven Stars, and Hanchoon Yi <Guild Master> at Paw'don Village, Honeydew Village, Shrine of Two Moons, and Shrine of Seven Stars. Fixed a bug preventing Timerunners with a legendary Infinite Cloak of Potential from accessing Ordon Sanctuary as intended. Fixed an issue with the spawning of Voress'thalik which prevented the completion of "Devastation Below". Fixed an issue preventing players from learning Amber Pterrordax. Fixed a bug causing Gulp Frogs to unintentionally drop Lesser Charms of Good Fortune. Enemy power scaling, particularly in group content, has been adjusted to be less aggressive. This is particularly applicable in the player level 40 - 70 range, before players have been able to power up their cloak, upgrade their gems, and increase their item level. Gear drop-rates have been improved from world rares, rare elites, and quests. This will help players who have had their item levels fall behind as leveling speed increases, especially at higher levels when cloak bonus experience is powered up. Developers’ notes: This will also increase player Bronze and appearance acquisition by increasing the number of items to place into the Unraveling Sands for additional Bronze. The first-time bonus for queueing each LFR wing will grant a Thread of Experience in addition to the existing Lesser Bronze Cache. Developers’ notes: This should improve LFR as a viable choice for leveling main characters and alts, without players feeling like they need to grind the same LFR wing repeatedly. We have added bonus experience to each boss in normal dungeons and scenarios so they are a viable alternative to questing. Bonus experience has also been adding to the last boss of Heroic Scenarios. Heroic dungeon bosses will continue to drop bonus experience. We’ve increased the number of prismatic gems dropped from bosses in normal and heroic scenarios and dungeons. Developers’ notes: The increased stamina offered by Legendary Prismatic gems boosts player survivability considerably. We have increased the Bronze granted from all qualities of Bronze Caches by 25%. Developers’ notes: These caches are available from a wide variety of sources, both solo and group. This includes the Minor Bronze Cache, Lesser Bronze Cache, Bronze Cache, and Greater Bronze Cache. Fixed an issue where Sha-Skin Vestment was marked as Cosmetic instead of Cloth armor. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where boosted characters were not properly learning their class and spec's Armor Proficiency. Fixed a bug with achievement completion tracking for the meta-achievement Classic Dungeonmaster. Death Knight Brutal Gladiator gear on the Outland Armor Quartermasters in Stormwind and Orgrimmar has been discounted so that their prices match those of other classes. Mor'norokk the Hateful can no longer be erroneously killed by players on the quest "On Second Thought, Take One Prisoner". Fixed an issue that was removing the Dormus' Rage aura from players who were teleported to Feralas. Fixed a bug preventing Diabolical Plans from dropping in Ashenvale for Horde players wanting to do “Never Again”. Cataclysm Honor Vendors should now be available in Stormwind and Orgrimmar to purchase ilvl 352 Blue PvP Gear for Honor Points. Conquest and Elite Conquest vendors will not sell anything until Arena Season 9 begins with next week's regional resets. Fixed a bug with the Thirty Tabards Fixed a bug preventing Engineers and Alchemists from making discoveries while crafting. Crafted “Vicious” gear that was unintentionally created at item level 377 has been adjusted to item level 339. In "Stonefather's Boon", the Stonefather's Boon buff duration has been reduced to 10 seconds (was 3 minutes). Fixed some quest issues. Erunak Stonespeaker should now still be visible to players who have advanced further in the quest line at the original location to turn in “Call of Duty”. “All or Nothing”, “Blood and Thunder”, and “Defending the Rift” should no longer fail to complete if you are sitting or mounted. Players experiencing phasing issues from Wrathgate or Battle for Undercity quests that are deprecated in Cataclysm Classic should now be in the correct phase in Orgrimmar and Undercity. Players may skip directly to the beginning of Vashj'ir using a portal in their respective cities. “Vashj'ir: Call of Duty” will remain available to players who skipped directly to “Sea Legs”. Hunter Hunter traps are now faster and more consistent in their arming times. Ancient Hysteria from Hunter Core Hound pets has been renamed Primal Rage. The debuff it causes has been renamed from Insanity to Fatigued. Fixed a bug preventing pets from displaying in the Stable as intended. Mage When Combustion gains damage from Ignite, that Ignite damage will not get increased a second time from Fire Mage Mastery Flashburn. It was already increased once by Flashburn when first applied. Shaman Fixed an issue with Shaman Greater Fire Elemental dealing too much damage with its Fire Nova spell. Warrior Fixed an issue preventing Slam from being logged properly in the combat log.

The Tusks of Mannoroth cosmetic cannot be learned by non-plate wearers in MoP Remix. Find out what Blizzard had to say about the issue.
Starting with the War Within pre-patch, you can easily collect transmog for other classes, but since MoP Remix gear will be gone and the inventory wiped when the limited-time event ends, many players were left wondering what's going to happen with their Tusks of Mannoroth cosmetic when the characters are ported over to retail.
It turns out Blizzard will fix the item soon, but have no ETA on when that will happen.

There's been many a hyperspawn in Pandaria, granting players with different amount of Bronze per hour. Everyone's been swarming every new potential spot while Blizzard scrambles to shut them all down as fast as possible. The original hyperspawn sin, the frog farm, even elicited a round of nerfs to a whole lot of people, but it also brought in a specific piece of compensation, which made a certain other farm pretty great.
With all the post-frog changes, it turns out that leveling alts could be the next best Bronze farm, as Blizzard keep shutting every other one down. The biggest change came in the form of three new quests at levels 50, 60 and 70, granting 3,000, 7,000 and 30,000 of the currency. Added to the approximately 30-ish thousand Bronze players gather up through leveling, that comes out to 70,000 Bronze per alt.
But the Bronze quests weren't the only things buffed since the frog apocalypse, as XP gains and level scaling has also been adjusted.

Enemy power scaling, particularly in group content, has been adjusted to be less aggressive. This is particularly applicable in the player level 40 - 70 range, before players have been able to power up their cloak, upgrade their gems, and increase their item level. What this now means is that via regular dungeon spamming (Normal and Heroic), as well as the first-time Look for Raid XP bonuses for each raid, you can get to level 70 pretty quickly, with some players getting it done in around 5 hours! Now sure, these fast leveling times include the cloak XP bonus, but that's relatively easy to get on at least one character, and you probably already have it if you've been playing. The Infinite Growth II, III and IV quests pop up at the Jade Forest Bazaar and are marked on your map with the new purple quest marker, so you can't miss them.
There's nothing particularly special here, it really is just spamming dungeons and running the LFR for the first clear bonuses when the queue pops. You can also do regular quests or the daily quests, as the give a pretty solid chunk of XP, and you can do those while you wait for the LFR queue as well.
So if you're taking 5 hours to level an alt, with a presumed 30K Bronze while leveling and the 40K from quests, that comes in at around 14K an hour. Granted that's nowhere near the 60K an hour from the original frogs, but it's not that extremely far away from the new hyperspawns. Plus it's not infinite boring and you get a bunch of level 70 chars as a bonus!  There probably are a few more hyperspawn farms available that are significantly better, but since those keep popping up and being knocked down by Blizzard, this seems a lot more stable, especially long-term.

Considering leveling alts fast was the primary reason to even play Remix for a lot of players, this is a real win-win. As many players commented, it seems the best way to farm Bronze is... to play MoP Remix as intended!
