wow Heirlooms Scale to Level 70 in Patch 10.1

Heirlooms can be upgraded to scale to Level 70 in Patch 10.1.

Blizzard added two new upgrade tokens for Heirlooms, which means you can use them throughout the whole Dragonflight leveling process. The tokens can be found on Timewalking Vendors and Heirloom Curators in Orgrimmar (Estelle at the Gates of Orgrimmar) and Krom in Ironforge.

The armor upgrade token costs 1,000 badges or 5K gold and the weapon upgrade token costs 1,200 badges or 7.5K gold.

• Awakened Heirloom Armor Casing (new) - Upgrades an heirloom armor, trinket, shield or off-hand to increase in power up to level 70. Costs 1,000 Timewarped Badges or 5,000 gold.
• Awakened Heirloom Scabbard (new) - Upgrades an heirloom weapon to increase in power up to level 70. Costs 1,200 Timewarped Badges or 7,500 gold.

It's so weird that they shrunk the leveling process and nerfed most heirlooms to the point of worthlessness but keep increasing the upgrade costs. At this point all heirlooms should scale to 50 by default, with upgrades to 60 and 70.

I find that heirloom are useful just in the starting area before you will start to receive some green/blue items. So many downsides compared with the benefits that they give. In this curent form there should be already scaled to lvl 70, the huge price and so many upgrades/heirloom is just nonsense.

Unless they give Heirlooms some sort of better functionality beyond "you don't have to worry about getting new gear for that 5 hours it takes to level" it is in no way even REMOTELY worth the price to upgrade a whole set for an alt. Timewalking week has essentially replaced heirlooms. instead of the 5-6 hours it takes questing it just takes 3-4 hours of queing.

The lvling in dungeons still kinda sucks with current heirlooms unless you have a monk tank that’s twinked. I did about 7 of them on my pally yesterday that’s lvl 40 and they was taking forever to complete.
