How to Get Ready for Patch 10.0.7

Recommended Posts

Check out our to-do list to ensure you're ready for Patch 10.0.7 when it drops next week!

1. Get Exalted with Stormwind and Orgrimmar

Patch 10.0.7 adds Heritage Armor Sets for Orc Humans. However, to embark on the questline, you will need a Level 50 Human/Orc character that is exalted with Stormwind/Orgrimmar. If you don't have one, you should grind the reputations to Exalted as soon as possible.

To hit Exalted reputation standing with the factions, you can purchase faction tabards (Stormwind Tabard Stormwind Tabard or Orgrimmar Tabard Orgrimmar Tabard), which make you receive reputation with the factions by completing dungeons.

2. Winterpelt Furbolg Faction Prerequisites

In Patch 10.0.7, you can go beyond Unfriendly with the Winterpelt Furbolg in Azure Span to unlock various cosmetics. A new quest can be conveniently picked up from within the Adventure Journal (Shift +J by default) when you have finished "Winterpelt Hollow" and "Rustpine Den" quests in the Azure Span first.

You can check your quest progress by looking at the Azure Span quest achievement in the game (Sojourner of Azure Span Sojourner of Azure Span).

Here's a list of rewards you can unlock:

Friendly Reputation Rewards

At Friendly, you can unlock food.

Honored Reputation Rewards

Upon reaching Honored, you'll unlock Dragonriding Customization Options, a cloak, and a weapon.

Winter Pelt Cloak Winter Pelt Cloak

Winterpelt Mending Totem Winterpelt Mending Totem

Reaching Revered unlocks the following rewards:

Exalted Reputation Rewards

A battle pet and a toy that transforms you into a furbolg are available at Exalted.

We have some Follower Dungeon upgrades in today's hotfixes, as both the XP penalty gets removed and we get to do a LOT more of them in a day!

You can also check out today's Season of Discovery Phase 2 hotfixes here, featuring item and class changes, as well as PvP event improvements.

[With realm restarts] The maximum number of Follower Dungeons that a player can enter in a 24-hour period has been increased to 50 (was 10). The presence of Followers in dungeons no longer decreases the XP earned by the human players. Player versus Player
Fixed an issue preventing Arathi Blizzard from being queued.

We're still seeing quite a bit of movement here in week 6 of the most recent patch, and while the Rogue is not letting go of its top spot any time soon, plenty of others are moving up! The extra Fyr'alath's are helping Arms and Unholy out, as the DK is still on the war path!
Note: We are using Normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. The u.gg rankings at the bottom are raw DPS. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it's AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.
      Overall Damage 95th Percentile
The specs are all very close at the top, except for Subtletly, of course, which is ahead by a very large margin. Unholy is the big news of the week, as it leaps 6 spots up into 2nd, literally switching places with Enhancement which is down 6, with everything in between staying stable. Arms is also having a good week, as both it and the DK are helped by all those Fyr'alaths dropping after the hotfix. The Warrior gains 4 spots in 8th and pushes Havoc down one. Shadow is also gaining, 2 up, with Frost DK closing out the top 10 with a 3-spot bump. We see some good news for Hunters at the bottom, as at least Marksmanship has managed to dig out of the final 3, but Beast Mastery dropped one towards the bottom to compensate. This means we have a new visitor to the Augmentation Survival couple, as Destruction finds itself down in the dumps, and Affliction isn't far behind either.

95th percentile Mythic data by Warcraft Logs.
      Overall Damage All Percentiles
Fury is pushing up in the generalist bracket as Enhance drops here as well. Retribution moves up and past the Shaman, claiming 3rd, and while Arms was always doing better here, it gains another spot to end up in 5th. Demonology continues its drop, with Arcane moving past it, as the Warlock finds itself in a Mage sandwich.
All percentiles Mythic data by Warcraft Logs.
      Boss Only Damage All Percentiles
Arms is pushing up here, 2 spots into 4th, pushing Unholy and Fire down 1, while the rest remains very stable.

      Overall Damage All Percentiles
Heroic is extremely stable, with only one slight change in the top 10, as Demonology takes Havoc down one.

All percentiles Heroic data by Warcraft Logs.
      U.GG Raw DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks. This chart is for Mythic only.
We go down to No.4 for the first change of the week, as Demonology continues its downward trajectory here as well, with Retribution taking 4th away from it. We have two pretty huge comebacks in the final two top 10 spots, as both Arcane and Devastation leap 7 spots into 9th and 10th! Arms is still slowly moving up and we should see it break the top 10 next week, as Shadow falls.

Danta is back with another soloing guide, this time, covering how to obtain Glory of the Uldir Raider achievement that rewards a crawg mount!
Glory of the Uldir Raider rewards the Bloodgorged Crawg mount and you must enter Uldir, the first Battle for Azeroth raid, to earn the achievement and get the mount.
Here's what the mount looks like:
      Bloodgorged Crawg
This crawg was left alone to feast on G'huun's corrupted blood and rot. He was so happy.

The Uldir meta-achievement requires players to complete a total of 8 achievements (1 per boss). For more details, you can watch Danta's video linked below.
In case you've missed it, there's also a guide on how to solo the Tomb raider meta-achievement.

It's surprising to learn just how many racial abilities have been removed from WoW over the years (or changed/nerfed enough as to basically be a different ability). Today we have hirumaredx going over some of the most overpowered and fun ones.
The first one triggers me greatly, as the idea of tauren just running around really fast instead of mounting was one of the reasons I even installed WoW back in the day in the first place! The video also talks about Priest-specific racial spells , some that don't fit the OP or fun description of the video, the Blood Elf ones you knew would be featured, and more.
