Merithra Present at the Seat of Aspects in Patch 10.1 + Emerald Dream Gossip Text

Recommended Posts

Merithra has joined the other dragons at the Seat of Aspects in Embers of Neltharion. She also has some interesting gossip text referencing the Emerald Dream.

Ysera's daughter Merithra now resides in her dragon form at the Seat of Aspects in Valdrakken alongside Alexstrasza, Kalecgos, and Nozdormu, in Patch 10.1.

Merithra also has some interesting gossip text referencing the Green Dragonflight's sacred duty to protect the Emerald Dream, which is interesting, because a glaive referencing the Emerald Dream was found not long ago in the game files.

"The green dragonflight's charge has always been to protect the Emerald Dream. As our strength grows here in the Dragon Isles, so too does our ability to keep the Dream safe."

As much as I dislike him, they've put too much into Wrathion to NOT have him claim the throne in the end.

He needs to get empowered or something that increases his size, otherwise he is gonna look so tiny when sitting alongside the other aspects XD

I personally vote for Ebonhorn.   But even Sabellion would be better than Wrathion.   How many daggers in the back till people get wise to him?

I sincerely hope it will be Ebyssian. Kinda sick and tired of Sabellian and Wrathion's constant quarrels.

So here's how I see their baselines

Wrathion encountered the old-god STUFF and positioned himself 888% against it. and 1000% for protecting the planet entire.  He's got an ego big enough to make Xal'atath look like a mere dagger, tho.  He does seem to have a fantastic luck for making the Primalist Dragons underestimate him, just about like Chronormu looks like the giggly gnome girl.  We..... probably need that underestimation.

Sabellian seems to be dad's guy, but for all that we're not clear just how free his freedom got to be.   He certainly WANTS to be what the black flight ought to be.   Does he... have any idea what the Oath is?   Freedom for others in there at all?

We have a decent amount of blurb from individual black dragons enjoying their visage forms, that constant battle is exhausting, and some life would be nice.

Ebyssian has been passive a long time but he also knows what the mortal experience is like via his association with the Highmountain Tauren.   And he's working through some of his youthful issues.   Interesting.

When are we gonna see more of Wrathion's alchemer skills re that cleansing potion, eh?

Here's a detailed preview of Bel'ameth, the new Night Elf capital coming in Patch 10.2.5.
Obviously, this week's 10.2.5 PTR build only brought the very first unfinished iteration of the Night Elf city, but we can already see some familiar names of NPCs from Teldrassil.
You can watch MrGM's latest video to explore the new city in more detail.

The top 3 is concluded! Method have now finished Amirdrassil Mythic as well, and in fairly unusual and daring fashion!
After 458 pulls Method brought the dragon down, but not before making an interesting choice to not re-clear the raid after the EU reset, instead opting to extend their previous lockout. This meant they would not be getting gear upgrades from the raid, and only be improving their item levels from other weekly reset sources like the Vault etc. It seems that worked out well for them, as they only spent 4 hours on the boss today after the reset, after a previous 8% best from the week before.

      Here's the full phase 3:

Congratulations to Method for the kill, as the boss is really impressive as we'll see just how many guilds even manage to down it at all before nerfs.

Ensemble: Spring Reveler's Collection is a new Love is in the Air armor set added in Patch 10.2.5.
Blizzard's updating Love is in the Air in Patch 10.2.5. This week's PTR builds adds the Ensemble: Spring Reveler's Collection armor set that keyboardturn has reconstructed and you can see there are three tints of the set. I assume the blue one will be a good fit especially for Frost Mages.
