Heritage Armor quests for non-Allied Races no longer require Exalted reputation in Embers of Neltharion.

It will be easier for non-Allied races to embark on Heritage Armor quests in Patch 10.1, as Blizzard has dropped the Exalted reputation requirement with the home factions in the latest PTR build. The change will only affect the following main races:

  • Blood Elves
  • Dwarves
  • Gnomes
  • Goblins
  • Humans
  • Orcs
  • Tauren
  • Worgen

Perhaps they will eventually ditch allied race unlocking, because it might be weird for players now to be sent to do content from Legion etc.

As much as I like the idea of the allied races, the requirements to unlock them feel pretty bad. If it was just finish a storyline in a zone then it wouldn't be so bad but having to reach exalted with a faction that may not have a quick way to farm it all is just too much imo.

I HATE grinding, so i hope they do stop the whole grinding requirement to unlock allied races.

I mean, sure if right now, you could get the requirements done by the time you complete the story of said content, then its fine, but if you have to grind for weeks and weeks and weeks to get the rep done, i will just not bother.

They did away with the rep requirement in SL, you just have to do the relevant storyline quests.

To unlock the allied races, you no longer need to be exalted with that faction, just have to complete the storyline.

Which is still incredibly frustrating for many people. New races should be a box of the box selling point. They should be pointing at vulpera and saying "look at these cute fox people! Don't you want to play that?" Instead, a new player, or even an existing alliance player have to first level an entire other character just to even unlock it. That is the opposite of fun and welcoming.

Why not just unlock it for them and give them a full set 420 ilvl gear.

This game is becoming a meme.

What are you even talking about? Having to reach exalted to start the questline is nonsensical. Why would I need to be exalted with Orgrimmar to get orc armor, as an orc? I could see it being a requirement if you wanted to wear it as a blood elf.

Blizzard responded to the "no affixes bug" by temporarily disabling Mythic Dungeons on live servers.
Mythic Dungeons are unavailable on live servers until the bug is resolved.

The intro quest for the Revival Catalyst has been enabled on live servers this week.
The quest should automatically appear in your Quest Log when you log in to the game. Alternatively, you can pick it from Therazal that offers the Aiding the Accord weekly quest.

However, there are no charges available this week and you still cannot convert Season 1 gear for transmog.

The Revival Catalyst will be enabled on live servers next week on June 13, allowing players to convert Season 2 eligible gear to Tier Sets.

It appears someone forgot to set the keystone affixes for Mythic+ this week on live servers.
Players on live servers discovered this week's keystones have no affixes attached to them. This is most likely a bug that will be fixed via hotfixes. Here's a screenshot of a +11 Neltharus keystone with no affixes.

You only need a Level 40 character to unlock all Allied Races in Patch 10.1.5.
Blizzard is making Allied Races more accessible in Patch 10.1.5. The only requirement to create Allied Race characters is to have a Level 40 character.
