Recommended Posts

Here comes the official preview of the new patch 10.1 tone, Zaralek Cavern, covering its inhabitants (both friends and less so), the Aberrus raid, dragonriding and more!

Muster your courage as you continue your adventure through the Dragon Isles and pursue your enemies into the dangers of the Zaralek Cavern. Along the way, dive deeper into the mysteries of the Black Dragonflight, meet new allies and foes, discover treasures and rewards, and more.

To reach Zaralek Cavern, complete the “Embers of Neltharion” campaign that will put you onto the path which guides you down beneath the Dragon Isles and into a vast underground world. Entrances to Zaralek Cavern lie within the chasm between Valdrakken and Ohn’ahran Plains and are visible on your map. The journey is long, so be sure your drake is well rested.

Meet New Allies

As the heroes of Azeroth venture into the underground expanse of the Zaralek Cavern, they will be aided by and build Renown with the local inhabitants found within.

The familiar faces of the drogbar can be found in Glimmerogg. They now have their own culture and embrace some unique interests—lifting heavy things and snail racing. Players can participate in their own race by nudging along a crystal-shelled gastropod named Brulee to gain the Zoom! Achievement and get their own snail pet. Watch out for the slime trail.

These busy molefolk might not see much with their inferior eyesight, but with their distinct nose, their sense of smell is mighty. The entrepreneurial and friendly niffen make their home in Loamm and they’re always willing to barter and trade with outsiders who pay them a visit. Players can unlock their Renown tracks for rewards once they complete the first chapter of the Embers of Neltharion campaign.

Drift and dive through complex caverns riddled with stalagmites and stalactites as you and your dragon navigate this vast underground world. Pay attention as your dragon senses six new Glyphs that will help you expand your Dragonriding skills with two new traits.

Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible

Millennia ago, Neltharion carved chasms in the earth where he conducted world-altering experiments. After his death, these sites were lost to time until now. Forces seeking to claim the Earth-Warder’s legacy raid his dominion in search of powerful artifacts. Now the champions of Azeroth must venture into the darkness and ensure the crucible’s dangerous power doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.

A new raid comes with Embers of Neltharion. Gather your allies and breach Neltharion’s secret laboratory hidden within Zaralek Cavern. Here, he created the dracthyr and ultimately succumbed to the whispers of the Old Gods and their corruption.

Including Scalecommander Sarkareth, whose forces seek to claim the legacy of the dracthyr; players will face nine new encounters:

  • Kazzara, the Hellforged
  • The Amalgamation Chamber
  • The Forgotten Experiments
  • Assault of the Zaqali
  • Rashok, the Elder
  • The Vigilant Steward
  • Zskarn, Magmora
  • Echo of Neltharion
  • Scalecommander Sarkareth

Zaralek Cavern is filled with dangers on the ground and above. Here are some inhabitants you’ll surely see as you traverse this vast world.

We look forward to you continuing your adventure through the Dragon Isles when Embers of Neltharion goes live on May 2. Visit WorldofWarcraft.Blizzard.com/news to keep up to date with the latest news, and plan and manage your Dragonflight adventures with the WoW Companion App.

woohoooo!! OGs 😄

OGs? I don't see any familiar faces among bosses there, all of these are new characters. Not even one Incarnate there. I guess they are saving them for next patch.

Well I meant the old gods. That green ore reminds me of saronite.

The third week of Dragonflight Season 3 is upon us and here is the current Mythic+ tier list.
The following post is based on data from U.GG. Therefore, the data presented here may differ from Petko's Mythic Tier Lists maintained on our site.
      How the Data is Calculated
U.gg's tier list is created by evaluating damage and healing scores from the very best players and factoring in the frequency of each spec's appearances in the highest rankings of the current Mythic+ season. The tier list of each spec is determined by its effectiveness and prevalence at the highest levels of Mythic+ play.
Mythic+ Tier List for Dragonflight Season 3 Week 3
This week's affixes are: Fortified, Volcanic, Spiteful.
      Healer Tier List
We've got a bit of a shake-up in the healer department. Mistweaver Monk is now the only spec in the S-Tier (up from A-Tier) and Discipline Priest is down to A-Tier. Restoration Shaman went up by one tier, and more.
S-Tier Mistweaver Monk (up from A-Tier) A-Tier: Discipline Priest (down from S-Tier) Restoration Shaman (up from B-Tier) Holy Paladin B-Tier: Holy Priest (down from A-Tier) Preservation Evoker C-Tier: Restoration Druid
      Tank Tier List
Unfortunately, there are no changes in the tank tier list this week.
S-Tier: Vengeance Demon Hunter A-Tier: Blood Death Knight Protection Paladin B-Tier: Brewmaster Monk Guardian Druid Protection Warrior
      DPS Tier List
Arms Warrior and Arcane Mage are down to B-Tier this week. Elemental Shaman is up in B-Tier and Frost Death Knight is down to C-Tier this week.

Amirdrassil has been added to the Dragon Isles and world map as a proper zone in Patch 10.2.5.
Currently on live servers you must defeat Fyrakk to see Amirdrassil without having to visit the Emerald Dream. However, the zone will be available to everyone regardless of whether or not you've downed Fyrakk in Patch 10.2.5.
Here is the updated world map in Patch 10.2.5.

As you can see, the Dragon Isles outline now includes Amirdrassil.

The Dragon Isles continent map has also been updated to include Amirdrassil.

Finally, here's the new zone map. It's basically the central portion of the Emerald Dream map. Emerald Dream's still accessible through the Ancient Bough portal.

Here's a detailed preview of Bel'ameth, the new Night Elf capital coming in Patch 10.2.5.
Obviously, this week's 10.2.5 PTR build only brought the very first unfinished iteration of the Night Elf city, but we can already see some familiar names of NPCs from Teldrassil.
You can watch MrGM's latest video to explore the new city in more detail.

Catalyst charges will be granted weekly in Patch 10.2.5. Currently, on live servers, you gain 1 charge every two weeks.
Blizzard is increasing the frequency at which you gain Renascent charges in Patch 10.2.5. You will receive 1 charge automatically every week instead of every two weeks.
REVIVAL CATALYST Renascent Dream charges are now granted weekly (was every other week).

PvP Class set items that were obtained from the Great Vault or converted at the Revival Catalyst and were previously on the Veteran track should now be using the Champion track. WoW’s 19th Anniversary
