Specializations Visible on Player Tooltips in Patch 10.1.5

Recommended Posts

v0I5DiU.png

When you hover over a player in Patch 10.1.5, you will see their currently set specialization in the tooltip.

A small but useful improvement is coming to player tooltips that show up when you hover over someone. Currently on live servers, you only see a player's Race/Class and must inspect them to see their specialization. However, this is changing with the 10.1.5 update.

We got our first look at Bel’ameth, the Night Elves' new home in patch 10.2.5: Seeds of Renewal! Added to the PTR today, MrGM already went there and poked around, so let's take a look!
As noted in today's development notes, Bel’ameth is still under construction by the elves, so it's very much a work in progress! We'll probably have to check in later during he PTR to see more, or perhaps it's meant to evolve throughout the story of the patch, or even through multiple patches.
They actually did it. Say Hello to the new Night Elf Home, Bel’ameth. Complete with NPCs, Portals, Vendors, Flight Masters, and everything you'd ever need - MrGM

      A good start indeed!

All remaining class talents that were previously Shadowlands Covenant Abilities have had their spell visuals updated to match their class visual kit. Developers’ note: Based on your feedback for wanting the option to keep the Shadowlands spell visuals, we’ll be adding a way to revert these talents back to their Shadowlands visuals in a future update. EVOKER Source of Magic now lasts 1 hour (was 30 minutes). ITEMS
REVIVAL CATALYST Renascent Dream charges are now granted weekly (was every other week). USER INTERFACE AND ACCESSIBILITY

So we've seen a lot of crazy things in the Amirdrassil Race to World First, and despite the top two spots being taken already, I couldn't skip this one. Chinese guild Skyline, playing on Taiwanese servers, have been in the top 5 for a long time now, getting as high as 3rd. They have been struggling a little in Amirdrassil, or rather with one specific boss.
Tindral Sageswift, Seer of the Flame has been the bane of pretty much every guild other than the first three to down him, but Skyline actually reached the insane mark of over 1000 pulls. Now, the boss isn't exactly a short one either, with 3 phases and a total length of 8 minutes. The earlier pulls were shorter, from 3-6 minutes, but that's a LOT of time.
The kill itself was pretty dramatic too, so here it is in all its glory, after 1004 pulls. The World 6th, Asia 2nd Tindral Mythic kill:

Now, Skyline aren't the only guild with some crazy pull counts and time spent on the boss, as guilds that still haven't downed the boss (but are close) are sitting at almost 800 pulls themselves. And so congratulations are certainly in order, as a pre-nerf kill is still very impressive. Now let's see how they do on Fyrakk!
