They are extremely hard to die on and have a great kit for survivability with Desperate Prayer, Bubbles, Renew, Psychic Scream, self heals, etc. You can even level as Disc. They have incredibly sustain while questing and grinding with minimal stopping and drink. Bubble, Mindblast, SWP, Wand. They are also highly sought after for dungeons. Hey Kilokai, I agree that Priest is great, and in my mind they're the king of B Tier. All of the stuff you mentioned makes them extremely powerful and they as as you said always needed for groups., the only reason I ranked them in B tier was just due to their kill speed/how mana hungry the spec can get and you find yourself kinda choosing between kill speed and downtime.
