That glove is hideous? I hope I can use the old icon... it looks more like an actual cursor, but with fantasy-theme.

The current one is the same, just low res.

No? Current one is a pointer one and has a higher res. You can even enlarge it to see it better.
New one is just a flat glove. Current; Pointer. Pointing with its finger. A HD version of the old warcraft one (and more metal-looking)

This isn't replacing the pointer. This is the interact icon. Like interacting with rocks on rock climbing world quests and stuff like that.

Oh I get it now, don't worry. That flat glowing glove is replacement for special cusror meant for some interactions only not as a default cursor replacement. It will replace this cursor: https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Cursor?file=Pointer_small-openhandglow_on_32x32.png that exists from WoD and has only 32x32 resolution 🙂

      Get Tender Every Month
At the first of each month, players with an active account in good standing will receive 500 Trader’s Tender automatically every month from a chest called the Collector’s Cache. If you don’t have active game time on your account or aren’t a subscriber at the start of a new month, don’t worry. Your Tender will be awarded on the first day of the month when you do have game time or an active subscription. This will be the same amount for everyone, regardless of how you pay for your game time.
      The Traveler's Log
Complete monthly activities listed in the new Traveler’s Log. Each month features a rotating, themed set of activities. These activities provide the opportunity to earn up to 500 additional Trader’s Tender. There’s only a set amount of Tender you can earn each month through completing activities, so you won’t need to complete all the ones in the log each month. You’ll be able to pick and choose from a variety of fun in-game activities to easily earn Tender. Players can choose to earn by continuing to play the game as they already do, such as completing quests, competing in battlegrounds, participating in holiday activities, and even running Mythic+ dungeons. But you can also choose to take part in activities uniquely designed for the month.
      Freeze an Item
Before the month comes to an end, if you haven’t purchased that one “must-have” item yet, don’t worry. You can “freeze” an item so you can purchase it later. When you freeze an item, it will stay available month over month until it is purchased or replaced.
If this month’s offerings didn’t have the items you wanted, you can hang on to your Trader’s Tender to spend later. It won’t go anywhere, and unspent Tender will continue to accumulate each month.
      What a Tender Moment
As a way of saying “Thank you” to the community for continuing to play World of Warcraft with us, we are awarding a bonus 500 Trader’s Tender to players who purchase Dragonflight and add it to their account†.  This bonus Trader’s Tender will also be rewarded retroactively to players who have already purchased Dragonflight. Players can collect this bonus Trader’s Tender from their Collector’s Cache.
Learn more about the Trading Post in our previously published news post on the official site.
*The Trading Post feature is not available in WoW Classic titles.
**Requires World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time
***Requires Level 10 to access the Adventure Guide.
†Bonus Trader’s Tender is granted only once per Battle.net account.

Blizzard today showed us the BlizzCon 2023 program which contains a brand new World of Warcraft mount!
The mount seems to be an elemental that will be available to players in World of Warcraft with "more details to be revealed" at BlizzCon.
BlizzCon 2023 will be livestreamed free of charge, so this may be a mount you either get from buying the new expansion or there will be a purchasable bundle that includes goodies in all games that was usually bundled up with the Virtual Ticket.

Patch 10.2 adds an item that lets you send Honor to alts at a certain price...
Glorious Medal of Honor is a new BoA item sold by Seltherex <Honor Quartermaster> in Valdrakken. It costs 2,500 Honor and grants 1,500 Honor to your alt. Still a bit on the expensive side, since you're paying 1,000 Honor for every token, but at least you have a way now to funnel Honor to your alts!

Blizzard changed some of the Great Vault requirements in the latest Patch 10.2 PTR build.
      Dungeons Category
The following global strings tied to the dungeon category loot have been changed.
Great Vault Reward Current Level Mythic - The item level of this reward will be based on the lowest of your top 1/4/8 runs this week (currently Mythic). Great Vault Rewards Current Level Heroic - The item level of this reward will be based on the lowest of your top 1/4/8 runs this week (currently Heroic) Great Vault Rewards Heroic Improve - Complete 1/4/8 dungeons on Mythic Difficulty to improve your reward. Great Vault Rewards Mythic Improve - Complete 1/4/8 Mythic Level X or higher dungeons to improve your reward. How will the item level of loot be determined when you only complete dungeons on Heroic difficulty?
Heroic Dungeons drop loot at a certain item level. Heroic Dawn of the Infinite drops better loot than standard Heroic Dungeons. Timewalking Dungeons count as Heroic and drop better loot from Heroic Dungeons. I assume you will receive better loot when you complete Timewalking Dungeons instead of Heroic.
Here are the Great Vault requirements in Patch 10.2. Please note the Raids category still hasn't been updated, but should say 2/4/7 Amirdrassil Raid Bosses instead of 3/5/7 Aberrus Raid Bosses.
