Meta and how to improve Vengance skills.

When you pop Fel Devastation, do you automatically get the benefits of your meta form? Or do you have to wait for the channel to finish to receive the benefits?

Also, just any helpful tips on how to improve Vengance skills to push M+ are very welcome.

I believe its once you cast it that you get the form. 

 

For tips, make sure on groups your using your soul explosion AOE for health, keep an eye on your demon spikes, Dont be afraid to use your cooldowns. Your sigils are your friend. Make sure you are paying attention and when you can mass silence a group it is fantastic.
