wow Classic Hardcore Mak'gora Duel to the Death Scam

Classic Hardcore is dangerous enough as it is, but now players need to be careful about getting scammed when challenged to a Mak'gora as well! So how could you possibly get scammed if you accept a duel to the death you might ask?

Well, it turns out you really need to be paying attention to punctuation marks. In a true case of mistaken identity scammery, the level 26 player thought they were dueling a level 1 (which may be suspicious to begin with) when instead it was a level 35 with the same name! The hilarious part comes later, when the scammer almost loses the duel and has to resort to jumping on the roof and clipping spells through the inn - and even then doesn't manage to win!

That's a very dramatic turn of events, but huge congratulations to the Paladin (I can't quite make out his name, looks like Berm or similar) for playing really well, almost beating the Priest and then getting away in the end!

Kinda scummy to try and grief lower level toons by pulling that stunt. guess he cant win against anyone his level....should he be banned? maybe but I doubt a ban will go into effect however, based on the video....the dude is running two accounts which is technically multiboxing and a banable offense since its against the terms of service. so if the paladin wanted to report this he probably get the priest banned for it.

Multiboxing is not a Ban able offense.  In BC ,killing Ogres were a huge spot behind Shattrath city were people would do it to make Gold.

Multiboxing isn't the issue here, he could have also had a friend with that other char, would have been just as scummy/scammy.

Replying to wrong person here are you?  I mentioned " Multiboxing " is Not Bannable or Terms and conditions. Mdr. I see no problem,  just a person got baited. Level 28 paladin dying then a whole naxx raid wipe from a troll.

Is it scummy? Yes.
Is it out-of-game-accessible, aka bannable? I'd say no.
People lie all the time...
It's up to the system to be better, then. Maybe it could say "You are about to duel Max - Level 20 Shaman Enh Orc - Do you accept?"
Anything like this can be approved!!

((PS I don't play HC myself cause of this reason, I don't trust people --- and I don't trust myself to not fall asleep at a bad time either...))

I have to agree with OP here, if a level 1 wants to duel anyone I'd be quite suspicious.

As others have stated, multiboxing is not against the ToS. In fact, Blizzard has no issue with multiboxing as it means multiple accounts are being paid for by a single person (presumably). What is against the ToS is using hardware or software to broadcast keystrokes to multiple instances of WoW, which was once a staple of multibox solutions. So, hitting 1 on your active screen/instance would cause 1 to be hit on all instances you have up. That is considered "mirroring" which is specifically stated in the ToS as not permitted since you are technically only able to hit 1 on a single toon at a time so, "mirroring" constitutes a level of automation. You must click that 1 on each instance you have up, without assistance from hardware or software.
