Player versus Player

  • Blade’s Edge Arena has been temporarily removed from the Arena rotation, for a terrain issue to be addressed.

WoW Classic Era and Hardcore

  • (With realm restarts) Added additional protections to prevent some deaths via flight-path disconnects. Now when you take a taxi, a protection aura is placed on you that prevents all damage, your hearthstone cooldown is reset, and your hearthstone spell is insta-cast.
    • Developers’ notes: We have alerts in place that will help us as we continue to monitor and investigate this issue.

Wrath of the Lich King Classic

  • Adjusted the logic controlling the levels at which player-characters are allowed to queue for dungeons in the Random Dungeon Finder so that it is closer to the range displayed, which was also adjusted. Now, all classic dungeons should allow a range of roughly 8 levels: from 3 levels below the level of the final boss to 5 levels above. Burning Crusade dungeons should now allow a range of 3 levels below the end boss to 3 or 4 levels above it, and Wrath dungeons allow a range that starts at 3 levels below the end boss.
    • Developers’ notes: The most noticeable effect here is that the minimum level allowed for some dungeons has gone up slightly. This is intended to address situations that arise for players whose level was significantly lower than the rest of the group.
  • Fixed a bug that could prevent Masked Orphan Matrons from starting the Headless Horseman’s fire events in various towns.
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused Talon King Ikiss in Sethekk Halls to not grant completion credit for the dungeon in Random Dungeon Finder.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Death Knights’ tier 10 Sanctified Scourgelord 4-piece damage bonus from working properly.
  • The “Sinister Calling” step has been removed from the “Hallowed Be Thy Name” achievement.
    • Developers’ notes: We’ve been working on a permanent fix for the underlying issue here, but we want to alleviate the immediate concern for players with Hallow’s End already underway.

Blizzard have detailed additional improvements they've made to the Ashenvale PvP experience, with a focus on everyone getting reputation for killing Lieutenants, mounts coming in at Friendly and the event lasting twice as long.
      Ashenvale (Source)
The following changes are now live:
When a character makes any hostile action against an opposing faction Lieutenant (e.g. Keepers of the Grove, Blademasters) or faction leader in the various objective areas, they will receive reputation when that enemy dies. It must be an offensive action (harmful spell, harmful ability, melee attack, or ranged attack) against an enemy to receive reputation. This also affects Healers who must use an offensive actions against the Lieutenant or faction leader. Characters will receive reputation even if they are dead or no longer nearby as long as they are still in the zone when the enemy dies. Characters will receive 200 reputation for killing a Lieutenant and all members of the winning faction will receive 200 reputation when the faction leader dies. The winning team will also receive 100 reputation per friendly Lieutenant remaining. Example: If there are two Lieutenants alive when the battle is won, a character will gain 200 reputation plus whatever was earned from defeating objectives plus the 200 reputation from killing the enemy faction leader (assuming the character used an offensive action against the faction leader). The Trainee’s Sentinel Nightsaber and Trainee’s Outrider Wolf now require Friendly reputation with the Silverwing Sentinels and Warsong Outriders respectively (was Honored). Players now have 60 minutes to complete the Ashenvale PvP event (was 30 minutes).

The fourth week of Dragonflight Season 3 is here and we're looking at the current Mythic+ tier list.
      DISCLAIMER
The following post is based on data from U.GG. Therefore, the data presented here may differ from Petko's Mythic Tier Lists maintained on our site.
      How the Data is Calculated
U.gg's tier list is created by evaluating damage and healing scores from the very best players and factoring in the frequency of each spec's appearances in the highest rankings of the current Mythic+ season. The tier list of each spec is determined by its effectiveness and prevalence at the highest levels of Mythic+ play.

IamEllekk recreated Eversong Woods using Houdini and Blender and here's the result.
As you can see in the below image, we have the characteristic Blood Elf architecture and the Burning Crystal.

We're back in the department of fortunate loot drops, this time, with Tindral Sageswift dropping four copies of the same item.
Tindral blessed a very lucky raid group with 4 pieces of Eternal Kindler's Greatstaff. While this isn't the record-breaking group who looted 5 Smoldering Seedlings from Larodar, it's still nice to see good old Tindral handing so many copies of the same item!
