Well, they finally did it! We get to ride Ragnaros! It may be called the Avatar of Flame, but we all know what it really is. Both the mount and the Lil'Wrathion pet come with the Blazing Heroic Pack, with the Epic Pack adding in a level 80 boost and 30 days of playtime as well. All rewards are available in both Classic and retail, however the retail mount seems to have a different name for some reason.

Blazing Heroic Pack

The Blazing Heroic Pack includes Lil’ Wrathion pet for both WoW Classic progression² and modern World of Warcraft characters³, the Avatar of Flame flying mount² for WoW Classic progression characters, and a Runebound Firelord flying mount for modern World of Warcraft characters³. WoW Classic progression characters will also enjoy Hammer Regalia Transmog Set⁴ and Town-In-A-Box Starter Set toy ⁴.

Blazing Epic Upgrade

The Blazing Epic Upgrade includes everything in the Blazing Heroic Pack, plus a Level 80 Character Boost and 30 days of Game Time.

If we already have a yearly sub to wow retail, we get cataclysm free. If we want  the pets and mounts, does this mean we have to buy the expansion even though we already have it?

I will forever wonder why ALL these things are not added to retail.... (not just X)
Like the retail epic edition should have included these, and also be usable on retail.
Seperate versions is... idk.. expensive.
Oh well..
