Blizzard released a new WoWCast episode with post-BlizzCon Q&A on WoW and Classic.
Here are a few highlights:

Retail

  • 3 more patches are coming to Dragonflight before the War Within releases.
  • The goal is not to have smaller expansions with the announced faster pace of release, just smaller gaps between them.
  • Mythic+ portals will be account bound in The War Within.
  • Response to Early Access and Beta related questions: it's an industry trend that they're paying close attention to, as other games have done it, and they're trying to maximize the value of the expansion bundles. The base edition is also offering more than ever before.
  • New points are coming to profession specializations, there may be artificial crafting orders made by NPCs.
  • Dragonflight Season 4 isn't "just" Fated raids, there will be other surprises as well.
  • There won't be any additional War band screen options at launch.
  • No stats squish in 11.0.

Season of Discovery

  • Phase one is capped at level 25, Phase 2 at 40, Phase 3 50 and Phase 4 60.
  • Classic raids will come back after the level 60 phase, with possible changes.
  • There might be new legendaries in later phases.

        Witch Doctor's Ancestry - Increases the chance to gain a stack of Maelstrom Weapon by 2%, 4%, and whenever you gain a stack of Maelstrom Weapon, the cooldown of Feral Spirits is reduced by 1.0 2.0 sec. Riptide - Restorative waters wash over a friendly target, healing them for [ 221% 265.2% of Spell Power ] and an additional [ 132% of Spell Power ] over 18 sec. Deeply Rooted Elements - Casting Riptide has a 7% chance to activate Ascendance for 6.0 sec. Ascendant healing is distributed evenly among allies within 40 yds. Ascendance Transform into a Water Ascendant, duplicating all healing you deal at 80% 70% effectiveness for 15 sec and immediately healing for [ 876% of Spell Power ] Call of the Ancestors - Whenever you cast a healing or damaging spell, the Ancestor will cast a similar spell. Ancestral Swiftness (New) - Your next healing or damaging spell is instant, costs no mana, and deals 10% increased damage and healing. If you know Nature's Swiftness, it is replaced by Ancestral Swiftness and causes Ancestral Swiftness to call an Ancestor to your side.
