Question on a Macro~

Recommended Posts

Okay so, I have a question about a certain thing in a macro. Is there any way to set a limit on how many times you click an ability? I got my shield slam macro with shield barrier, so is there anyway to make sure it only uses sheild barrier once? Thanks

No there's really not if the ability is in the macro then every time you hit the macro it's going to try to use that ability that's why you want to try to tie two items together that are off CD at the same time or can be used with enough window to allow them to be tied together.

Could do it with a /castsequence macro I guess, put in one Shield Barrier and a dozen Shield Slams, resetting on combat.

But you could just use a shift/ctrl/alt modifier on the Shield Slam macro to cast Barrier, or macro it to something you use less frequently?

This late you maybe already got the answer to your question but I might aswell throw it out for new readers.

You CANT cast Shield Barrier twice. The only exception to this is when you got enough rage/vengeance to pop a bigger Shield Barrier where it simply overrides it.

Well I never found my answer I just am having to switch between Shield barrier and block for whatever fight. Like for 3rd heroic boss in MSV I just switch it out to block. Woot to being 3/6H and 14/16 normal :D
