Reins of the Kor'kron War Wolf Reins of the Kor'kron War Wolf, the Siege of Orgrimmar AoTC mount, is most likely coming to the Trading Post!

Blizzard has added Reins of the Kor'kron War Wolf Reins of the Kor'kron War Wolf, the Siege of Orgrimmar AoTC mount currently unavailable to players, to the pool of mounts from the Trading Post. According to the new entry, the mount should cost 7,899 Trader's Tender.

The mount was previously only available to players who defeated Garrosh Hellscream in Siege of Orgrimmar and earned the Ahead of the Curve: Garrosh Hellscream (10 player) Ahead of the Curve: Garrosh Hellscream (10 player) achievement. It was then removed in the Warlords of Draenor pre-patch and the achievement became a Feat of Strength.

The Kor'kron use only the mightiest wolves for their mounts, bedecking them in armor that would break the backs of lesser creatures.

What's your opinion on bringing back unobtainable mounts via the Trading Post?

Oh, I can hear the vitriol now from people who got it when it was current content.

I got it as current content and personally I don't mind if others get this way as long as they don't receive the achievement as well. However that being said I do hope if their going to bring back the unobtainable mounts then I really do hope their going to eventually bring them all back at some point. I only started in cata so I'm sure there's plenty i've missed due to unobtainable achievements I might have missed.

Same here. I had a break from WoW early Cata to late MoP and missed out stuff like the bike, when this OCC event was (Orange County Choppers or something) and it would be cool to get them this way as well. People which allready have it can still say: "Well you have to invest Trader Tenders, where i can safe it or invest somewhere else."  Same goes for the people which might not have mounts, but where i allready have them.

I mean it is just a mount, one of like allready 800+. If someone is mad about this, this one should think about taking a step back from the game/-s in general.

I'm totally cool with this. This is the only AotC mount I've missed so far.

I just hope it doesn't cost 8k TT like WoWhead's post said it would lol

What a dumb thing to add to the TP. It was a reward for being AHEAD. OF. THE. CURVE. You are many many years BEHIND. THE. CURVE. now... Why bother raiding for AOTC mounts if they will be given out like candy later? This will hurt the game and participation in difficult content will dwindle since it becomes meaningless if the rewards are no longer exclusive.

It won't be in the Trading Post most likely. In 10.2.7 there will be a new event called Timerunning: Pandamonium. My money are on Siege of Orgrimmar scaled to Mythic difficulty with the AOTC mount as reward for clearing it. But even if it's in the Trading Post for 5-10k Trading Tenders it will be a good thing. Timelimitting stuff was wrong from day 1 when they had removed old Naxxramas and will always be wrong.

Good take imho, i would definitely give it a try since i did not play during that time / had a break from WoW. I only did some transmog runs to get the Garrosh Shoulders (and still did not get them!).

Hasn't every AotC and CE achievement been moved to Feat of Strength as soon as the next tier/pre-patch launches anyways?

This is an unfortunate decision. I don't have the mount but the idea of making AOTC mounts obtainable in future content gives me 0 incentive to raid as this was the only reason i'd stick around for end of expansion raids

As always;
Add EVERYTHING back in.
- EVERYTHING -
Old mounts, of every sort; tmog, pets, toys...

Stop FOMO, especially digital one.
(Saying this as someone who is a high % collector and player for 20 years)

Since we've entered the Cataclysm Classic pre-patch, we're taking a look at a couple of videos covering the many, many changes that arrived with the original Cataclysm way back in 2010, as they take us through all the major modifications! Cata was the biggest change ever introduced to the actual world of WoW, stepping from the classic look to a new one, and few zones on Azeroth were left untouched.
While the general feel of most zones was left intact, it's really staggering just how much changed, even with the smaller modifications. Let's start with Kalimdor, from the really big changes like Orgrimmar, the Barrens and Thousand Needles, to the smaller ones like Winterspring, there's plenty to see!
Then we're on to the Eastern Kingdoms, with Hillsbrad, Loch Modan and the Badlands (as well as parts of Stormwind) leading the way.

What's your most/least favorite change Cataclysm brought?
