Will Awakened Raids Have Affixes?

Recommended Posts

68294-vault-of-the-incarnates-raid-maps.

Dragonflight Season 4 is set to start on April 23rd, and we're still in the dark about whether Awakened raid bosses will include affixes.

During Shadowlands Season 4, Blizzard rolled out five Fated Powers that changed weekly. Each boss in a Fated Raid had one active Fated Power, and we're hoping to see something similar in the upcoming Awakened Raids for Dragonflight Season 4. However, Blizzard hasn't confirmed any details beyond increased scaling..

Currently, spell databases show no entries for "Awakened Power," so we might be in for some surprises when the season kicks off.

To recap, here are the five Fated Powers from Shadowlands Season 4.

  • Fated Power: Chaotic Essence Fated Power: Chaotic Essence - Summons a Chaotic Essence which casts Chaotic Destruction, inflicting 100 Cosmic damage to all players if successful. Upon interaction, the essence becomes hostile and instead continuously manifests Chaotic Motes. These motes channel 2 Cosmic damage into targeted players every 0.5 sec. for 3 sec. When defeated each mote splits into additional motes. After 15 sec the Chaotic Essence dissipates, granting all players 2% increased damage done, 2% increased healing done, and 2% absorbs done for 25 sec. This effect stacks for each Chaotic Mote slain.
  • Fated Power: Creation Spark Fated Power: Creation Spark - Charges a player, inflicting 3 Cosmic damage every 1 sec. for 30 sec. This effect stacks. Upon removal this charge jettisons Creation Sparks to nearby locations, infusing players within 0 yards of the impact location, increasing the flow of time by 15%, increasing casting, attack speed, cooldown recharge rate, and periodic tick rates and additionally increasing movement speed by 40% for 25 sec.
  • Fated Power: Protoform Barrier Fated Power: Protoform Barrier - Empowers the caster, inflicting 3 Cosmic damage to all players every 3 sec. Upon removal this barrier manifests as one attackable enemy, casting a shared 1,300 absorb shield with all other enemies for 15 sec. A second unit manifests that also can be healed to reduce the shared shield. Upon expiration the barrier explodes, inflicting 50 Cosmic damage and an additional 5 Cosmic damage every 1 sec. to all players for 8 sec. If broken this effect backfires, inflicting all damage done to each enemy during the barrier as Cosmic damage, and additionally grants all players up to 20% increased damage done, 20% healing done, 30% total health, and 20% increased absorbs done for 40 sec.
  • Fated Power: Reconfiguration Emitter Fated Power: Reconfiguration Emitter - Manifests an attackable enemy which continuously casts. This enemy remains immune to damage until the first successful cast or interrupt. Successful casts inflict 30 Cosmic damage to all players. Upon defeat this enemy infuses all players with power based on the energy level of the emitter, increasing mastery by up to 10, critical strike chance by up to 15%, versatility by up to 15%, and avoidance by up to 9.
  • Fated Power: Replicating Essence Fated Power: Replicating Essence - Ensnares afflicted players, reducing movement speed by 15% and inflicting 15 Cosmic damage every 1 sec. for 5 sec. Upon removal this essence patterns inself as 2 |4attackable enemy:attackable enemies;, which continuously channels 2 Cosmic damage every 0.5 sec. into targeted players for 4 sec. Upon defeat grants all players 10% increased damage done and 10% increased healing and absorbs done for 10 sec. Upon reaching full power, this essence replicates itself into 2 |4additional copy:additional copies;, exhausting itself preventing additional replication and no longer grants players any beneficial effects upon defeat. Exhausted Essences continuously channels 5 Cosmic damage every 1 sec. into multiple targeted players for 4 sec.

Do you hope to see similar powers in Dragonflight Season 4?

I'd rather not. Just give a buff to damage and hp. No need to overcomplicate things

They shouldn't. They should also not rotate them, just have them all awakened every week. The expac is over, why have the restriction at his point? Time is short (according to their own timeline). Pre Patch is months away...... Not to mention that this competes (for time) with the MOP remix. It's the end of the expac! Open it all up for one last go before we head off to the next adventure!

The limited time Remix event just got a lot less deadly, as Blizzard fix another bug. Certain high level boss abilities were doing double damage, but a hotfix has cleared that all up!
      Remix (Source)
With a hotfix that we applied a few minutes ago, we’ve fixed a bug that was causing some high-level boss abilities to unintentionally do double damage to players.
For players who have been inside an instance since before the hotfix went out, there will be no change until you leave and start a new instance.
Thank you for your reports and feedback!
