Get the Burden of Unrelenting Justice Transmog Sets

It’s been a year since T&W (Tawney and Wilder) and the Zen’shiri Trading Post have been supplying a variety of delightful mounts, pets, toys, and transmogs to the citizens of Azeroth. To celebrate, players who have earned the monthly special reward from the trading Post twelve times will be rewarded with a new achievement, “Trading Post Enthusiast” along with a new color-shifting transmog — the Burden of Unrelenting Justice transmog set.

Night Elf in Gold and Green set during the day on the left and silver and white set under the moon on the right
The Burden of Unrelenting Justice Transmog Set includes 9 pieces: Head, Shoulder, Chest, Waist, Legs, Feet, Wrist, Hand, and Cloak.

With the release of the Seeds of Renewal content update, players who complete the twelve months will also receive two non-color-shifting sets representing the day and night version of the color-shifting transmog for a total of three sets retroactively. Players who earn the achievement after the launch of the Seeds of Renewal Content update will automatically receive all three sets for their collection.

You don’t need to earn the special reward twelve times consecutively to get the achievement and the transmog sets.

How it Works

Get Tender Every Month

At the first of each month, players with an active account in good standing will receive 500 Trader’s Tender automatically every month from a chest called the Collector’s Cache. If you don’t have active game time on your account or aren’t a subscriber at the start of a new month, don’t worry. Your Tender will be awarded on the first day of the month when you do have game time or an active subscription. This will be the same amount for everyone, regardless of how you pay for your game time.

The Traveler's Log

Complete monthly activities listed in the new Traveler’s Log. Each month features a rotating, themed set of activities. These activities provide the opportunity to earn up to 500 additional Trader’s Tender. There’s only a set amount of Tender you can earn each month through completing activities, so you won’t need to complete all the ones in the log each month. You’ll be able to pick and choose from a variety of fun in-game activities to easily earn Tender. Players can choose to earn by continuing to play the game as they already do, such as completing quests, competing in battlegrounds, participating in holiday activities, and even running Mythic+ dungeons. But you can also choose to take part in activities uniquely designed for the month.

Freeze an Item

Before the month comes to an end, if you haven’t purchased that one “must-have” item yet, don’t worry. You can “freeze” an item so you can purchase it later. When you freeze an item, it will stay available month over month until it is purchased or replaced.

If this month’s offerings didn’t have the items you wanted, you can hang on to your Trader’s Tender to spend later. It won’t go anywhere, and unspent Tender will continue to accumulate each month.

Learn more about the Trading Post in our previously published news post on the official site.

*The Trading Post feature is not available in WoW Classic titles.
**Requires World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time
***Requires Level 10 to access the Adventure Guide.

This month looks pretty boring. Barely anything new.

I agree there's way too much recycling going on. Something new and unique for mounts or pets would be a really nice change from my perspective at least.

The blazing hippogryph is nice, but everything else, eh. If those wings were a mount it would be amazing, but alas...

I think part of the problem and why everything seems so boring is that the game is so old, and has so much stuff in it already that it's hard to make anything truly feel rewarding.

Back in BC getting a new mount was a big deal. There weren't that many in the game in the first place, and most were rare and hard to get. Pretty much any mount that wasn't a racial was special and worth showing off or bragging about. Today there are hundreds of mounts and the majority are so easy to get that you don't even think about it any more. Getting a new mount doesn't even register as an event. It's just another collectable you click and forget about. That makes it really hard to Blizz to get anyone excited about non-combat rewards these days. Everyone has long since already pick their favorite mounts and transmogs, and everything else is just a +1 to your collection counts.

We have just one hotfix for retail today, with incorrect item levels showing when upgrading PvP items. Other than that there's plenty of Cataclysm Classic changes, from more class adjustments to Darkmoon Faire and Stratholme fixes and more!
      May 15 (Source)
      Items
Fixed an issue that caused Conquest and War Mode gear to incorrectly display PvP item level increases in the upgrade UI. Cataclysm Classic
Darkmoon Faire Island is now set to open on May 26 through June 1. The Stratholme Main Gate entrance should now place you in the correct location when queued through Random Dungeon Finder. Exhaustion, Sated, and Temporal Displacement will now be cleared from pets when they are cleared from their masters. Mage Fixed an issue where dispelled Ignite effects were increasing the damage done by future Ignites. Dispels from the Glyph of Polymorph and duels ending will also now clear the damage done. Rogue Fixed an issue with Deadly Momentum that caused its increased critical chance to be consumed by auto attacks that did not benefit from that increased chance. This is a true-to-reference 14-year-old bug, but was clearly unintended, so we fixed it. Shaman Fixed an issue with Healing Stream Totem where it was not benefitting from the Shaman Restoration Mastery ability Deep Healing. Warlock Fixed a problem with the values shown in the Warlock Molten Core talent. It will now correctly state that it reduces cast time by 10/20/30% at 1/2/3 talent points. Warrior Deep Wounds damage will now be reduced by effects that reduce damage taken by a percentage.

The latest War Within Alpha build comes with an interesting talent for Demonology Warlocks that lets them summon a raid boss!
A new choice node allows Demonology Warlocks to replace Summon Vilefiend with either Mark of Shatug or Mark of F'harg. Depending on the talent you pick, you will either summon a charhound or a gloomhound, one of the hound bosses from the Antorus raid.
So far, players seem to be really happy with the size of the hounds and hope Blizzard won't touch them and adjust their size. What do you think about the talents?

Blizzard has introduced a new Delves tab in the latest War Within Alpha build.
This fourth tab, located at the top of the UI, displays the Delves rewards track for the current season.

You can hover your mouse over the rewards to see what's coming up next.

Below, you'll find your current companion for the season. For Season 1, Blizzard has confirmed it will be Brann Bronzeebeard. You can configure Brann's abilities here.
Next to this, there is a pane showing information about Great Vault rewards you can earn by completing delves.

Frost is on the Death Knight tuning table this time around! There's new talents throughout the three and even two new capstones, as well as Breath of Sindragosa, Frostscythe and other skill improvements.
      Frost (Source)
      Hello, Death Knights–
This week’s Alpha update includes another round of changes for Death Knights – this time focused on the Frost tree. Like our last round of changes for Unholy, we looked at talents that felt more appropriate to be baseline for the spec and talents that worked better as 1 rank instead of 2. Notably, we made Fatal Fixation and Rime baseline, reduced Frostwhelp’s Aid, Enduring Strength, and cut both Cold-Blooded Rage and Invigorating Freeze and reduced their new talents to 1 rank.
The goal with the above changes is to cut down on build friction allowing for more customization as you spec through the tree. These changes alongside other talent movements and new pathing connections should help create a better experience for build variety.
We’ve also created a variety of new talents and added 2 new capstones that focus on your auto-attacks which should help give some better sustained damage outside of Pillar of Frost windows. These talents also complement both Obliteration and Breath of Sindragosa builds and add some unique gameplay that expands on the Shattering Blade talent node.
We’ve added Razorice to the targets unit frame to allow easier tracking on when to use Frost Strike. Frostscythe has also seen an update to move it out of the regular rotational rune spender to a big heavy hitter on a medium cooldown. Its rune cost has been increased to 2 and its damage has been greatly increased and is always guaranteed to critically strike. It also has unique mechanic that reduces its cooldown when you consume Killing Machine which has some fun synergy with the suite of new auto-attack talents we’ve added to help your Killing Machine procs.
Lastly, we increased Breath of Sindragosa damage to compensate for the loss of uptime from our first round of changes which should lend itself to a burstier playstyle with less focus on “infinite” duration buffs. We are keeping an eye on its current Runic Power cost which is unchanged since its increase in Dragonflight. From our internal testing, we’re seeing 30-40 second breaths, based on situations but the are many scenarios where it can feel extremely tight as you wait for Runes to replenish, which means we may need to look at its cost per second and pulling out some runic power generation elsewhere.
We would love your feedback on how the current iteration of Breath of Sindragosa feels on uptime. Tangentially, we still have some work we’d like to do on Obliteration build resources especially as it pertains to Runic Power consumption as it can still be flooded a bit inside cooldowns.
Thank you for the continued feedback. Our next round of changes will be focused on Blood updates, Unholy, and Core talent iteration based on feedback we’ve received so far.
And here are the actual changes from the development notes:
      Frost (Source)
DEATH KNIGHT Frost New Talent: Shattered Frost – When Frost Strike consumes 5 Razorice stacks, it deals 50% of the damage deal to nearby enemies. Deals reduced damage beyond 8 targets. Available as a capstone talent after Shattering Blade. New Talent: Arctic Assault – Consuming Killing Machine fires a Glacial Advance through your target. Available as a new capstone directly after Obliteration. New Talent: Smothering Offense – Your auto attack damage is increased by 5%. This amount is increased per stack of Icy Talons you have and can stack up to 2 additional times. New Talent: Icy Death Torrent – Your auto attack critical strikes have a chance to send out a sleet of ice dealing Frost damage to enemies in front of you. New Talent: The Long Winter – While Pillar of Frost is active, your auto-attack critical strikes increase its duration by 1 second, up to a maximum of 5 seconds. Frostscythe has been redesigned – A sweeping attack that strikes all enemies in front of you for Frost damage. This attack always critically strikes and critical strikes with Frostscythe deal normal damage. Deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets. Consuming Killing Machine reduces the cooldown of Frostscythe by 1 second. Now has a 30 second cooldown and Rune cost increased to 2 (was 1). Rime is now a baseline ability learned at level 21. Breath of Sindragosa damage increased by 25%. Chill Streak can now bounce off the Death Knight if a second enemy target isn’t found. Enduring Strength is now a 1-point talent. Strength increased to 20% (was 10%). Frostwhelp’s Aid is now a 1-point talent. Now grants 8% Mastery per target hit (was 4%). Killing Machine now stacks 1 additional time. Everfrost is now learned in gate 1 directly after Howling Blast. Frostwyrm’s Fury position moved to gate 2 and located directly after Icecap, Frostwhelp’s Aid, and Enduring Strength. Absolute Zero shifted up to gate 3 unlock positioned directly behind Frostwyrm’s Fury. Shattering Blade is now available after Avalanche. Rune of Razorice now displays the debuff on the enemy nameplate. The following talents have been removed: Fatal Fixation Cold Blooded-Rage Invigorating Freeze Horn of Winter is now positioned in Fatal Fixations old location. Empower Rune Weapon is now located in Horn of Winter’s old location. Obliteration has replaced Cold-Blooded Rage.
