A Whisper of Warning (Short Story)

Blizzard has just posted a short story titled "A Whisper of Warning" about Alleria Windrunner and her new mission.

Blizzard Logo(Source)

Khadgar has dispatched Alleria Windrunner on a dark mission, one that portends an uncertain future for Azeroth. Before she departs, she visits her lost home of Silvermoon on a mission of peace and connection. Much remains unsaid between Alleria and her son, Arator—hindered by fear and misunderstanding—but Alleria would have her son know his mother and her intentions before a new evil threatens Azeroth again.

The afternoon sun filtered through the crimson leaves overhead as Alleria Windrunner walked the path toward Silvermoon City. In times past, happier times, she might have flown or used a portal to appear inside the city walls, but as it was, she approached warily, as if nearing a sleeping beast that did not wake gently. Once, she had defended these walls, these people. But now?

Now, to many, she was the source of danger.

Sigh, they're going to beat someone from Turalyon and Alleria's family with the Villain stick is my guess.

My guess is they're going to have us kill Turalyon at some point in the world soul saga, the man is a light fanatic on par with the scarlet crusade.

A lot of people say this about Turalyon but in the time gap after Shadowlands and during Dragonflight to TWW he's literally caused the least drama as a leader of any faction unless I'm missing something?

What has he done to make him fanatical towards the light?

Not that i'm not saying it couldn't happen, it's just that if it does; they could have nodded to it more in the last 2 expansions to set it up at least.

The reason I think it's possible is because during Legion, after Xe'ra tried to force the light on Illidan and he killed her which lead to Turalyon immediately trying to kill him. Now that could've simply been because he thought Xe'ra was our only hope as he screamed "You've doomed us all, Betrayer" as he swung his sword down but given that he took Xe'ra's word about Alleria after she interacted with the void for the first time and allowed the naaru imprison her, though the first option was a death sentence which Turalyon persuaded Xe'ra to not follow, it speaks volumes of his devotion to the light, at least from my perspective.

Find out how many times you need to kill Garrosh to buy Tusks of Mannoroth and the Heirloom Weapons in MoP Remix!
Bones of Mannoroth drops from Garrosh on Normal or higher difficulty in Siege of Orgrimmar and keep in mind all raids are on a daily lockout.
You will receive 1 Bones of Mannoroth from killing Garrosh on Normal Difficulty. You will receive 4 Bones of Mannoroth from killing Garrosh on Heroic Difficulty. You will receive 10 Bones of Mannoroth from killing Garrosh on Mythic Difficulty. To buy Tusks of Mannoroth from Pythagorus, you must farm 38500 Bronze and 20 Bones of Mannoroth. As mentioned during soulsobreezy's interview, one Heroic clear gets you around 30,000 Bronze. You will need to kill Garrosh at least twice on Mythic Difficulty or 5 times on Heroic to have enough bones to buy the tusks.
The Heirloom weapons are much cheaper, as they only cost 8,000 Bronze and 2 Bones of Mannoroth each.

Take a look at the veggie weapons coming in the War Within expansion!
      Extra Large Leak
This is a One-Hand Mace equipped in your main hand. The item comes from Cooking and the associated spell (Extra Large Leak) suggests you need to collect 999 Twined Herbs.

      Garlic Knots
A garlic off-Hand to keep vampires at bay. We don't know how to obtain the item at this time.

What do you think about the new weapons? Let us know in the comments!

As you can see, you can complete delves or other world activities to unlock items in the new World row, which is cool for players who do not want to do Mythic+ or Raids.
To unlock items in the new row, you must complete 3/6/12 delves or world activities. Completing world activities will be equivalent to completing a certain Tier of delves.
To increase the reward's item level, you must complete Delves at a higher tier. We have 9 tiers in total with the last two being only for bragging rights (awarding cosmetics).
Great Vault Requirements in the War Within
Here are the updated requirements for the weekly chest in the War Within.
