Say Hi to the Flightstones of the War Within

Say goodbye to Flightstones and hello to Valorstones in the War Within expansion.

In the War Within expansion, Flightstones have been renamed Valorstones, and you'll unlock them when you reach Level 80. Valorstones are commonly awarded for completing almost all types of seasonal content, including max-level campaign quests.

They function just like Dragonflight Flightstones for upgrading gear.

Your character can hold up to 2,000 Valorstones, as shown in the screenshot.

The crest system from Dragonflight is also making a comeback, with new crests being added each season.

      We have a bit of a shorter batch today, as retail gets some achievements looked at, while Cataclysm has class, raid and battleground improvements, as well as the reduced cooldown on character services!

      Achievements Fixed an issue causing some achievement-related creatures to despawn in Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope. Cataclysm Classic
      Race change, faction change, and paid server transfer cooldowns reduced to 3 days (was 30 days). Magmaw will no longer fall backwards during Impale, preventing players from doing damage. Fixed an issue where the Horde team was getting less resource points per tick with three locations captured in the Eye of the Storm, than the Alliance team would in the same situation. Improved combat logging of certain effects. Death Knight Death Coil will no longer critically heal for 300% of the normal value, instead of the intended 200%. Rogue Vendetta no longer persists on the target when the Rogue specs out of the talent.

      f you haven't created a Dracthyr Evoker yet, now is the perfect time! Starting in July, Dracthyr Evokers will begin at Level 10.
      Currently, Dracthyr Evokers start at Level 58, and by the time you finish the intro, you'll be at Level 60. However, this will change with the War Within pre-patch, set to release sometime in July. While the exact date isn't confirmed, we do know that Dracthyr Evokers will then start at Level 10 and reach Level 17-18 after the introduction zone.
      To avoid this level reduction, create a Dracthyr Evoker today and enjoy the higher starting level before the pre-patch arrives.

      RiskyCB has completed Gate of the Setting Sun in 83 seconds in MoP Remix.
      The final boss has a fixed spawn timer and killing him outside doesn't count, so the run took a little over 83 seconds. You can watch the full video down below!

      Fixed an issue where a tiny dagger was appearing when casting a variety of spells and abilities. Fixed an issue where the low noise variant of Frozen Orb was not being used inside raids and dungeons. Player versus Player
      Evoker Fixed an issue preventing Chrono Loop from being used in some locations, including many areas in Black Rook Hold Arena.
        WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria
      Bronze Cache values increased by 100%. Minor Bronze Cache (250 → 500) Lesser Bronze Cache (500 → 1000) Bronze Cache (750 → 1500) Greater Bronze Cache (1250 → 2500) Spools of Eternal Thread stat gain increased by 200%. Minor Spool of Eternal Thread (20 → 60) Lesser Spool of Eternal Thread (50 → 150) Spool of Eternal Thread (100 → 300) Greater Spool of Eternal Thread (180 → 540) Emperor Shaohao reputation increased by 700%.

      Druid Balance Developer’s note: We noticed that Balance druid gameplay was seeing a trend towards sitting in Solar and trying not to leave it, especially in Multi-DoT situations. Not engaging with a decent chunk of your core rotation to stay in Solar Eclipse is not a playstyle that we nor the original developers had intended, so we released a change last week that was aimed at preventing mastery snapshotting pre-pull by resetting Eclipse when engaging a boss.
      We understand this could be a damage reduction in many scenarios and to address this, Insect Swarm now deals Spellstorm (Arcane/Nature) damage so it can now benefit from Lunar Eclipse. This means that when you end up in Lunar Eclipse, you will still be buffing your two core DoTs. We estimate this change to be about a 15% damage increase to Insect Swarm, which is typically a Balance Druid’s second most damaging ability on non-single target encounters. There may still be situations where staying in Solar Eclipse is ideal, and that’s totally fine, we just don’t think it’s healthy for that to be every situation and on every pull. Starting a boss encounter resets Eclipse energy to 0. Insect Swarm is now considered both an Arcane and a Nature spell, causing it to benefit from both Eclipses. The tooltip will be updated in a future update.
