Ellen Joe is the first character to recieve a refreshed kit update including quality of life changes, here's everything that has been updated.
First previewed during the official livestream, these updates made it straight into the live servers with the launch of Version 2.0, shaking up team comps, builds, and Ellen's overall power level in the meta.
This marks a bold move from HoYoverse, who wasted no time implementing feedback and internal adjustments. Ellen's rapid rework is especially notable considering the typical delay between preview and release while Ellen herself had no beta. The developers instead did this internally and using Hollow Zero information.
More Agents in the future will likely recieve similar treatment, with many characters releasing before the changes to the Decibel system in 1.3 who were not designed around this new system needing some love to their kits. Zhu Yuan and Burnice being some noteable examples of agents that people in the community want to see buffed in the near future.

What's New in Ellen Joe's Kit?
Ellen Joe's kit has been significantly adjusted to improve her flexibility, damage and survivability. To unlock these changes on your account, you do need to select "Check Now" on the Shark Frenzy event page.
Here's a breakdown of the major changes:
Toggle between Ellen's Old and New Kits: This allows you to play the old version if desired for example if you wanted to compare clear times between kits. New Basic Attack Skills: Icy Blade and Glacial Blade Wave have been added to Ellen's Basic Attacks which expands out her combos drastically. Additional Ability: Rising Storm now supports Stun Agents: This gives Ellen additional synergy with more team compositions instead of restricting Ellen to Victoria or Ice agents. This also gave Ellen a new best team. Core Passive: Sharp-Toothed expanded: Ellen's core has been expanded out to grant 100% CRIT DMG to Chain Attacks, Ultimates, Icy Blade and Glacial Blade Wave. What Does this Mean for Ellen's Builds and Teams?
These changes make Ellen Joe much more versatile with around a 50% damage increase when using her best team compositions. The new Stun synergy also improves the longevity of Ellen as a character in the future .

Zenless Zone Zero Season 2 is now live! In order to meet the new characters, explore new zones, and claim tons of anniversary rewards, we updated tier lists to reflect recent changes!
Zenless Zone Zero Season 2 is officially live! HoYovers kicks off the season with tons of new content for you to enjoy! This includes new unique characters, incredible zones to explore, exclusive rewards, and a big update to some early characters.
Two new agents are now available in Season 2:
Yixuan: A powerful agent with brand-new specialty and element: Rupture and Auric Ink. Pan Yinhu: A defensive panda perfectly fitting Yixuan. Both characters are available through the new limited banners, and one of them already places high in the updated tier lists!
You can explore also brand-new areas. These include a new main city, old temples, and more. Expect more cutscenes, secrets, and boss fights to break through.
Zenless Zone Zero is also celebrating its first anniversary, and you will be showered with rewards! Log in now to claim:

Find out how Yixuan became the Master of Yunkui Summit, and what happened to her sister! At the same time, you also get a chance to win an exclusive Bangboo Pillow!
HoYoverse is heavily preparing for Season 2 of Zenless Zone Zero by releasing both Yixuan's character demo, and a brand-new animated short showcasing her story! On top of that, they are also giving away 50 Bangboo Pillows!
While Yixuan's character demo shows her impressive combat skills, proving why people say she has the level of a void-hunter, her animated short is really the most interesting part!

The film starts with Yixuan visiting someone's grave with Ju Fufu. We hear the name "Yijiang" for the first time. After that, we get a closer look at Yixuan's story. Like many characters in Zenless Zone Zero, hers is not a happy one.
Yixuan and Yijiang are sisters. They both loved buns, even though they were orphans. Yunkui Summit used to take in a lot of kids like them, and they all trained in the mountains.
Shifu, the master of Yunkui Summit at the time, saw that both sisters were talented and believed one of them would inherit the Qingming Sword. Yijiang wanted to become the High Preceptor to gain more power and help more people.
While Yixuan looked up to her sister, Yijiang saw that Yixuan was different: someone who might one day protect everyone with her own power.
But like all swords in Zenless Zone Zero, the Qingming Sword protects everyone except its wielder. All the previous users slowly lost their senses and memories. Yixuan believed there had to be another way to protect everyone, but Yijiang chose to use the sword in the meantime, guarding Yixuan's future, but eventually falling to the sword's curse.
The film doesn't show what happened to the Qingming Sword, but we know Yixuan doesn't fight with it. So in the end, she must have found a different way to protect others. The short ends with Yixuan thinking of her sister when she sees the Proxy siblings!

A new Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 leak showcases Belle and Wise skin customization options, including accessories and alternate outfits! Here's what they look like!
A recent leak from the Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 beta has revealed more details around the new customization features for the game's main characters, Belle and Wise. Shared on Reddit, the leak showcases a "Wardrobe" menu, allowing you to personalize your Proxy's appearance with various skins and accessories, including playful additions like cat ears.

This marks the first time players can modify the look of the Proxies, offering a range of cosmetic options to suit individual styles. The customization system appears to be flexible, enabling combinations of different outfits and accessories for a unique appearance.
While we know the base skins for the Proxy will be free, it's unclear if the accessories and upcoming skins will be free, event-based, or require in-game purchases. The addition of character customization is a significant development for the game.

Zenless Zone Zero Season 2 is coming! Get 180 free pulls, a free S-Rank Agent, and more in the 2.0 anniversary update. Here's everything you need to know!
HoYoverse has officially released the Season 2 Special TVCM for Zenless Zone Zero, showcasing more of the next chapter titled "Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn". Season 2 will take players to the Waifei Peninsula, a brand-new area filled with new challenges, story content, and, of course, generous anniversary rewards.

Additionally, all players who log in during the 2.0 update will be able to select and claim a free standard S-Rank Agent and a free S-Rank W-Engine, a major boost for any squad!
Playing through the main story chapter in Season 2 will also unlock new Outfits for Belle & Wise, giving long-time and new players alike even more to look forward to.
