Hello friends!

I've been reading up on the forums here for some time now to help see my flaws as a hunter, but I decided to make an account to ask this question.

I got the Captive Micro-aberration as loot from missions today, and it's in mythic quality! I'm not sure to be happy or not, because it has flat haste and mastery, which is kinda on the lower side of what I want as a hunter! The item level is insane and the agility is almost double the one on my skull of war.

Thing is I'm not sure which one to use! I have a Skull of War at stage 1. Is it worth? Am I looking at haste and mastery as worse stats than they actually are? Am I respecting the crit from Skull of War too highly? Could anyone give me some insight to why or why not I want to use either trinket?

Here's a link to my armory too! http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/the-maelstrom/Segwayhenrik/

Feel free to point out stuff with my gear. And I also got a side question: I'm pulling 20k dps on imperator hc, not doing much aoe dmg. Do you think this is alright for my gear? I can do more on a target dummy. But I guess it's hard to judge without getting some advanced recount log.

I had no idea Skull of War was this trash. Thanks! Would you care to explain why I would take flat haste and mastery over such a big crit proc? Am I valuing the crit too much or am I looking down on haste and mastery?

All stats have weight, even if they are lower, they are still worth something.

I just used SimC to compare trinkets, but the lucky double-sided coin gave a bad result. What is wrong here? I use SimC 603-21.

LDSC is very difficult to sim because sims average out results over x iterations when the power of LDSC comes in controlled use with pots/procs/hero/lust.

Effin's results show that LDSC is pretty high up: http://forums.elitistjerks.com/topic/132926-wod-survival-60/page-2#entry2277659

IIRC it's BIS for MM.

Because you have to explicitly tell SimCraft to use it, as with all on-use trinkets.

Add

actions+=/use_item,<insert trinket's name from your gear in simcraft>

before or after Rapid Fire.

      About us:
Gordian Knot is a 20-man semi-hardcore raiding guild that consists of experienced raiders with some of them having raiding experience as far back as Vanilla.
We are a friendly group who enjoys World of Warcraft and loves raiding. We have fun and joke around but when bosses need to go down then all is serious! We wish for all our members to enjoy the game as much as we do and we expect raiders to maintain a 70% attendance per month.
We also enjoy a variety of other activities such as running a lot of Mythic+ dungeons doing alt-runs, achievement runs etc.
There are a few things we hold in high value but above else we value friendliness and politeness towards guildies and other players and skillfulness when it comes to the more serious parts of the game.
      Currently :
We raid 3 nights a week, Wednesdays, Sundays and Mondays, from 20:00 till 23:00 server time.
Although we are a 20-man guild, we usually run an extra group in order to get more people to experience the joys of raiding, help new raiders learn the Knot's way to down bosses and gearing up. Usually, these runs happen on Thursdays. Also, every Friday and sometimes Saturdays too, we're on RBGs killing alliance scums!
Saturdays are generally left for those RBGs or older content runs for fun and drinking!
Our current guild progress is 10/10 on Nighthold heroic and 4/10 on mythic, and we're focusing on Mythic Progress at the moment!
If you're interested in joining Gordian Knot, please fill in our application form, located at http://gordian-knot.eu/apply/, alternatively please whisper Athlioss@Draenor or add my battletag Athlios#2283.
PS. We're always open to group applications or guild merging discussions.
We are also open and welcome social applications.

It’s all in the name! ~Insomnia~ was created for the sole purpose of providing those whom can't attend the traditional raiding schedule with an environment focused on progression raiding. We enjoy a manageable raid schedule that - while unique - works well for busy students, those with difficult work schedules, and anyone that enjoys staying up a bit later than usual. We pride ourselves on not sacrificing a friendly, enjoyable raid atmosphere while progressing through current content. With this in mind, we classify ourselves as a "Semi-Hardcore" late night  guild providing a niche for players who wish to experience this game at a competitive level while also having competitive professional and family lives out of game…….We want to have fun while expecting the best out of every player!
After a period of inactivity we are back in business doing what we love most: clearing PVE content with a close-knit stable core of players. However, we are always looking to meet new players who fit our profile and will potentially become our next core raiders.
While our raiding times or community may not be ideal for many, we're a guild with personality, that pride ourselves on our unique atmosphere. With each passing tier we've not only improved as individuals, but as a team. We've proven our ability to weather the storm, and not fall victim to the common difficulties faced by others. Our guilds' mindset is to not only survive the tier, but thrive in them.
      Our raiding times are:
Thursday 23:00 – 02:00 Sunday 23:00 – 02:00 Tuesday 23:00-02:00 What can we offer you? A warm friendly guild where being efficient and competent goes hand in hand with active lively banter…… And the fun goes on all night long! We enjoy playing the game and spending time with the people we play it with! What you can expect from ~Insomnia~ : *Guild leadership focused on progression
      *Reliable and skilled players
*A friendly, social atmosphere not commonly found in progression guilds What we expect from you : *Raid awareness

Raiders must know their class and role.
Potential raiders must have been gearing for the content.

      Progression:
      7/7M, 2/3M (3/3H), 8/10M (10/10H)

      Hive have opened up recruitment!

Hive is a 2-day mythic raiding guild on Ravencrest-Alliance. We are a core of raiders who have been together since before the launch of Legion and are looking to expand on our Raiding Roster for the opening of Tomb of Sargeras. We are a fairly new guild and as such are a work in progress.
We are aiming for a spot within the top 20-30 guilds on Ravencrest on progress, and are looking for more raiders with an ambition and dedication at the same level.
      Recruitment:
      1x Holy Paladin
      1x Rogue
      1x Warlock
      1x Mage
      1x Rogue
      Legion Progression:
      Emerald Nightmare: 7/7 M
      Trial of Valor: 2/3 M
      The Nighthold: 5/10 M

      Raid Days:
The raiding times in Hive are Thursday and Sunday from 19:30 until 23:30 Server time (CEST). Invites to the raids will go out starting at 19:15. We require all raiders to be ready and available to execute the first pull of the raid at 19:30.

      Loot:
The loot in Hive is distributed amongst the raiders through a Loot Council. This council includes 3 Officers and at least 2 Raiders. During the remainder of the Nighthold Raid, all Trial Raiders will have equal rights to any loot drops as a core raider - Once Tomb of Sargeras is open however, Raiders will have priority over Trial Raiders within reason.

      Requirements:
-All communication during raids will be in English and we require all our raiders to be on Discord and able to speak, with a functioning mic.
-80% attendance on main raids. Due to this low attendance requirement, we have a large roster of players and all raiders may be subject to rotation in the raiding team on any given night.
-A positive attitude towards constructive critisism - We expect all raiders to know their class through and through.
-Preparation. All raiders are required to show up with enough Flasks, Food, Health potions and Combat potions to last through a night of extensive progress wiping. We may also ask you to use Defiled Augment Runes on progress fights. Vantus Runes are provided by the guild bank.

      Contact:
