My Friend needs to up his DPS on Mythic Twins. Help!

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am seeking advice for my friend, Jack. I would like him to pick up the DPS so he doesn't get benched. I appreciate any insight to my situation. Thank you.

Questions, concerns, expectations:

Hi. My friend is doing poorly on Mythic Twin Orgon and I don't want him to get benched. I feel like his single target is better, but still not the best.

Following is a Mythic Kargath log for more single target insight, if wanted:

Mythic Kargath Kill:

Description of Playstyle:

I am not too sure of his playstyle, but I imagine he is struggling going from one target to two targets, although his single target isn't amazing. On the logs I believe our closest attempt was #12 and one of Jack's better ones was #19 (only 21.7k)

Armrory:

Need to change the multistrike gem to mastery gem, upgrade mastery enchant on ring, and get Bleeding Hollow enchant for weapon.

General Rotation:

Looking at 21h kill of Butcher to assess general rotational competence, there are some issues. Missed eight Empowered Divine Storm procs. Missed a cast of Execution Sentence. Wasted eight Holy Power generations (i.e., he was at 5 HoPo and cast a generator when he should have cast a finisher, wasting the resource gains). Some of this may be more an issue of if he's not accustomed to the SW/Sera playstyle.

Log (Attempt 19):

Not prioritizing Crusader Strike. Range can be twitchy on Twins, but his Judgement casts really should not be more than half again as many as his CS casts. Should try Final Verdict/Divine Storm weaving more, as the FV buff makes DS really strong - and increases its range, making it that much easier to cleave both Ogron. Using Seal of Righteousness might help, too, as it's a simple, passive cleave while both Ogron are stacked up - though Censure-cleaving would likely be superior, it requires some management and monitoring.

With the enchant procced during Wings, in can be significant - the extra mastery adds a really good chunk of bonus damage on everything you want to focus on in that burst window (i.e., HoW, CS, T/FV). Considering that CS and T/FV are weapon-based damage, the better the weapon, the more you're liable to get out of that mastery proc. To find out just how much of an improvement that enchant alone would be, you'd have to run a couple of sims and compare.

As an enchanter, believe me, I sympathize with how costly it can be to get Bleeding Hollow. If, after raids, he can find someone with an Enchanter's Study in their garrison (or build one himself, if he has the free plot), he should be able to shard the epics he replaces and bank the crystals for his enchants. Shattered Hand will suffice until he can scrape up the mats; I was simply pointing that out as a lesser optimal enchant and area for improvement on gear.

      ABOUT US:
Gordian Knot is a 20-man semi-hardcore raiding guild that consists of experienced raiders with some of them having raiding experience as far back as Vanilla.
We are a friendly group who enjoys World of Warcraft and loves raiding. We have fun and joke around but when bosses need to go down then all is serious! We wish for all our members to enjoy the game as much as we do and we expect raiders to maintain a 80% attendance per month.
We also enjoy a variety of other activities such as running a lot of Mythic+ dungeons doing alt-runs, achievement runs etc.
There are a few things we hold in high value but above else we value friendliness and politeness towards guildies and other players and skillfulness when it comes to the more serious parts of the game.
      CURRENTLY:
We raid 3 nights a week, Wednesdays, Sundays and Mondays, from 20:00 till 23:00 server time.
Although we are a 20-man guild, we usually run an extra group in order to get more people to experience the joys of raiding, help new raiders learn the Knot's way to down bosses and gearing up. Usually, these runs happen on Thursdays. Also, every Friday and sometimes Saturdays too, we're on RBGs killing alliance scums!
Saturdays are generally left for those RBGs or older content runs for fun and drinking!
Our current guild progress is 3/8 in The Eternal Palace mythic, and we're focusing on getting further Mythic progress. Our aim is to always progress as much as possible but also to have a relaxed and fun atmosphere at the same time!
If you're interested in joining Gordian Knot, please fill in our application form, located at https://gordian-knot.eu/apply/, alternatively please whisper one of our officers:

Currently our raid team exists of friends that have been playing for more than a year together and want to keep playing together. Our team currently is a roster of 24 and we are looking to get the number high enough so we can maintain a constant roster of 20 man. Once we are over the 20 man we will start using a schedule where we will rotate our raiders so everybody gets a spot and gets used to the fights.

Since we got curved we would love to get to at least half the bosses in mythic and just have fun whilst going for the challenges.

From this we hope to learn from others and meet new friendly faces to add to our growing team.

      Hey all,

Not new to hearthstone but haven't been playing constantly and just jumping back in towards the end of July.  I am not sure if there's a better name or configuration for this yet but I've had some good luck with it so far.  If nothing else it's just really fun to play for me.
This deck has no duplicates to take advantage of Zephyrs the Great and Sir. Finley of the Sand.

Never posted a deck before so not sure if this is how of the place but feel free to give me constructive feedback.

I'm new to using icy-veins, and I cannot seem to get used to navigating the WoW class guides. Why is stat info the 13th section of the guides, but max level content 6th through 12th? Where do I find comparisons between specs?
