Coatepec Mountain Pyroculus Locations and Route Guide
This page is for Oculi in the Coatepec Moutain region of Natlan in Genshin Impact. Here you can find information on how to collect all the Oculi throughout the Mountains.
Coatepec Mountain Pyroculus Guide
The Coatepec Mountain is one of the four starting areas of Natlan. There are a total of 35 Pyroculus available on this map.
It is recommended to complete the Archon Quest first before going out of your way to collect any Pyroculus, as well as the following side quests to ensure all areas of the map are unlocked:
- Ripe for Trouble
- Broken Graffiti
- Between Pledge and Forgettance
- Key with Frontal Notches Puzzle
- Ancestral Temple Puzzle
The map is rather small and mostly in one straight line, however, the Pyroculus are separated on two different layers. In order to get Number 35 you also need to find the following Graffiti's first.

#1 Can be found on the top of the tree
#2 Near the domain, on top of a very long rock pillar
#3 On top of a small square mountain
#4 Inside the gap of the mountain, on a small wooden plate
#5 Follow the Key with Frontal Notches Puzzle Quest and you will run into it underground
#6 Underground in the air inside a cage. Access with the Saurien
#7 At the other exit of the same cave as #6
#8 On top of the mountain, on the edge of a wooden bridge
#9 On the beach, inside a skeleton
#10 On the side of the road, right next to the Basin zone, on top of a rock
#11 Inside the Scions of the Canopy
#12 In between two mountains
#13 At the very top of the building
#14 At the edge of the mountain
#15 On top of an enemy tower
#16 Inside a lava cave. use the Saurien to navigate on the walls and reach it
#17 Inside a small hole in the ground
#18 Near a Monetoo reward, inside the wall
#19 Near the beach, high in the air. Use the Saurien nearby to reach it
#20 On the beach in the water
#21 Straight ahead of #20 if you cross the water
#22 On top and a bit in front of #21 on a wooden structure on the walls
#23 On top of the Mountain
#24 High in the air, you can only reach it if you activate the Windmill mechanism nearby
#25 Near the waterfall
#26 You will see it on the other side of a wall. Head right and make your way around it in order to access the pyroculus
#27 On a platform on the left of the Temple
#28 Progress the Ancestral Temple Quest in order to reach #28 #29 #30

#35 On the other side of the locked Wall. Find 6 Broken graffiti to unlock it.
Where are Pyroculus Used for?
Pyroculus such as the ones located in the Coatepect Mountain can be used to upgrade the Statues of the Seven. This provides players with Primogems, Pyro Sigils, Mora, Adventure EXP and more!
