Nod-Krai Region Overview and Content Hub in Genshin Impact
Nod-Krai is unlike other regions in Genshin Impact. With Nod-Krai being classified as it's own autonomous region located south of Snezhnaya. Nod-Krai is a melting pot of a wide range of factions such as the Fatui, Adventurers' Guild, Treasure Horders and even The Hexenzirkel. On top of that, a plethora of new factions exist solely inside of Nod-Krai such as The Frostmoon Scions and The Wild Hunt.
How to Unlock the Nod-Krai Region?
Nod-Krai can be "unlocked" by following Archon Quest through Natlan however players can simply travel to Nod-Krai if they need to explore the new region to obtain any upgrade materials for new characters.
Playable Characters in Nod-Krai
Listed below are the currently available characters in Nod-Krai. Instead of visions, certain characters from Nod-Krai use "Moon Wheels" which are mechanically similar to visions with a different aesthetic.

Nod-Krai Gameplay Mechanics
Kuuhenki and Kuuvahki
Kuuhenki and Kuuvahki are some of the main ways you interact with puzzles around Nod-Krai. Kuuvahki is a way you can further empower yourself and then utilise that power to complete puzzles. Generally located around special types of plants in Nod-Krai but there are other sources.
Kuuvahki puzzles tend to operate on "magnet rules" where opposites attract and the same colours repel. Commonly using a red and blue colour which you interact with differently depending on the colour of your Kuuvahki.
Kuuhenki on the other hand, are similar to seeles from other regions. When they follow you around, they will provide the relevant kuuvahki, but they can also be used for a range of exploration-based puzzles too allowing you to take their form.
While you can gain the power of Kuuvahki, so can enemies so be careful!
Evermoon Seals
Evermoon Seals can be located around Nod-Krai. When 3 seals are obtained in that specific region, you may use them to open a treasure vault located inside of that subregion. Granting you a range of rare rewards.
Luna Treasure Compass
The treasure compass for Nod-Krai receives a massive upgrade. By upgrading Meeting Points you can upgrade the exploration ability of the Luna Treasure Compass. This allows you to see key collectables on your minimap such as Oculi, Treasure chests and more!
Meeting Points in Nod-Krai
Meeting Points are a new system available in Nod-Krai that take the place of the Sigil offering system as well as the faction reputation system and merge them both together. Luna Sigils can be exchanged at each faction and with enough exploration increase, you will upgrade the Meeting Point for that faction.
This grants you with new rewards as well as specific quests focusing on a playable character from that faction. Furthermore, upgrading your Meeting Point for that region allows the Lunar Treasure Compass to function showcasing collectables on your map.
Statues of the New Moon
Much like other regions, Nod-Krai also features a type of statue. But unlike other regions this is a Statue of the New Moon and not a Statue of the Seven. Interact with the Statues to unlock a teleportation point and open the map for the sub-region linked to it.
Once you unlocked your first New Moon Statue you will be able to offer your Lunoculus in order to increase the statue's level. The statue's max level is 10 which will come with future regional upgrades.

Nod-Krai's Oculus
During your exploration in Nod-Krai, you will come across items called Lunoculus.
Lunoculus are Nod-Krai's Oculus system.
Each sub-region in Nod-Krai has a certain number of Lunoculus you can find.
Furthermore, the Lunar Treasure Compass allows you to find these Oculi on your map when the Treasure Compass is unlocked and upgraded enough.
Nod-Krai's Subregions
Nod-Krai has a range of Subregions available for players to visit and explore while unlocking collectables and earning Primogems.
Hiisi Island
Hiisi Island is the home of the Frostmoon Scions and also features relics that are reminiscent of Secret Source technology. Furthermore, Columbina is stated to be located somewhere near Hiisi Island.
Lempo Isle
Lempo Isle is home to Nasha Town, our first starting city in Nod-Krai as well as the Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop run by Aino.
Paha Isle
Paha Isle is the main area for the Fatui and features an area inside called the Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau.
Voidsea Outlook
Voidsea Outlook is located to the north of Paha Isle, with 2 sub-areas called Piramida and Dreadshade Mire. Piramida is the headquarters of the Lightkeepers while Dreadshade Mire is a swamp that is imprisoning the Serpent of All Evils.
Wavechaser Plain
Wavechaser Plain has a strong presence in Nod-Krai due to the huge tower in the middle of Pillar of Embla. Aside from that, it is also the outpost of the Knights of the Favonius that was lead by Varka.
Ashveil Peak
Ashveil Peak is a mountainous region in Nod-Krai where Abyssal corruption has spread deep into the land and sky. Not only that, it also features Special Territory Research Institute, operated by Il Dottore himself.
Dunanna Pit
Dunanna Pit is located to the east of Voidsea Outlook, sporting a huge lake in the middle of the area, which is truthfully an opening for a spaceship to be lift off and bring the Traveler beyond the False Sky.
Lunar Highlands
Lunar Highlands is the major explorable area in Frost Moon that Traveler first step their foot into once they reach this area via the spaceship in Dunanna Pit.
Moontide Sea
Moontide Sea is located northwest of Lunar Highlands, and it is a sight to behold as it is almost 70% filled with Lunar Sea that may incapacitate Travelers if they stand too long in the area that filled with excessive Archaeolune Energy.
Dark Side of the Moon
Dark Side of the Moon took half of the Frost Moon area, but the explorable area itself is smaller than Moontide Sea. It still hold an important lore in the World Quest that you will start once you reach this area
