The Acolyte enjoys the practice of the dark arts, calling summons and spells from beyond the physical realm. Acolytes shield themselves with the power of the undead and sacrifice the living to warp reality around them. The class can specialize into three distinct playstyles: the Lich, Necromancer and Warlock. As a Lich, the Acolyte transforms themselves into a powerful melee fighter to wreak havoc on the living. As a Necromaner, she can summon hordes of dead warriors and abominations to do her bidding. Lastly, the Warlock, where the Acolyte uses the souls of the damned to fuel her spells, channeling fire and death as a powerful caster. Whichever path you choose, the Acolyte is a versatile character able to adapt to the most difficult content and force all to bend the knee to her unsatiable will.

Acolyte Skills

Regardless of the Mastery you choose to spec into, the Acolyte class comes with a handful of skills that can be used by all three. These skills are either unlocked by player level, or by placing Passive Points into the Acolyte Skill Tree.

Rip Blood

Description Rips blood out of a target enemy dealing physical damage to it. An orb of the blood is drawn back to you, restoring 10 health when it reaches you.

Marrow Shards

Description Fires sharpened bones from your body. The bones pierce through enemies inflicting physical damage. Instead of mana, 9% of your current health is consumed to cast this spell.

Description Apply a curse to enemies in an area for 8 seconds that causes physical damage when hit. The damage is tripled if you inflicted the hit yourself.

Transplant

Hungering Souls

Description Calls forth five hungering souls that seek out enemies, on hit they deal necrotic damage and then possesses the target. Possessed enemies take necrotic damage over time for 1.5 seconds. Enemies cannot be possessed by multiple souls at once.
