Order of the Cloud Serpent Reputation and Rewards Guide

The Order of the Cloud Serpent are a neutral, entirely Pandaren faction based out of the Arboretum in The Jade Forest. The primary benefit of gaining reputation with the Order of the Cloud Serpent are the unique Cloud Serpent mounts like Reins of the Jade Cloud Serpent as well as access the recipes to craft the Jeweled Onyx Panther mount and the other Panther mounts required to craft it. It is important to note that you must be level 90 to begin the quests required to gain reputation with the Order of the Cloud Serpent. Highlighted below are the best ways to earn reputation with the Order of the Cloud Serpent and the rewards for raising your reputation with them.

To begin gaining reputation with the Order of the Cloud Serpent head to The Arboretum located on the eastern coast of the Jade Forest a bit north of the Temple of the Jade Serpent. Once there we are going to look for Elder Anli who should be found at (57.6, 44.8). Anli will offer you the quest Wild Things which will task you to find Instructor Tong who is located on the Windward Isle at roughly (65.4, 31.6). Tong will offer you a series of quests to complete and after doing so he will prompt you to choose from one of three eggs. It is important to note that the egg you choose will eventually mature into a Mount of the corresponding color saving you a decent amount of gold. After choosing an egg it will then turn into a cloud serpent hatchling and unlock your first set of daily quests and the ability to farm Onyx Eggs.

There are a couple of different ways to gain reputation now that you have unlocked the faction, you can complete daily quests or you can farm Onyx Eggs. Onyx Eggs can be found on the Windward Isle and each one can be turned in for 500 Reputation to Elder Anli. The egg turn-in has no limit and can be completed as many times as you want.

With your cloud serpent hatched you will have access to three daily quests which can be found around The Arboretum. Upon reaching Revered you will unlock additional daily quests you can complete also located in The Arboretum. Make sure to activate your Grand Commendation of the Order of the Cloud Serpent as soon as you hit Revered to considerably increase the reputation gain from both your daily quests and the Onyx Eggs turn-ins.

Upon reaching Revered with the Order of the Jade Serpent you can also purchase a Grand Commendation of the Order of the Cloud Serpent which increases the Reputation gain with the Order of the Cloud Serpent by 100% for every character on your account, making the grind from Revered to Exalted much easier or catching up on an alt a bit faster.
