Welcome to our Addons Guide for RogueRogue where you will find out what the best addons are for your Rogue in Mists of Pandaria Classic.

1.

Rogue Addons for Mists of Pandaria Classic

Rogue in Mists of Pandaria plays considerably differently depending on which of the three specializations you choose but the one thing that remains consistent among them is how important it is to properly understand your currently available resources. Addons can greatly simplify the process of not only dealing with a deadly boss encounter or optimizing your damage but even take some of the monotony out of leveling that new profession. Highlighted below is a list of recommended addons to consider to improve your quality of life on Azeroth.

1.1.

WeakAuras

WeakAuras is a highly customizable way to track almost anything from rotation altering procs like Blindside Icon Blindside to the best way to handle the potentially deadly boss mechanic. Giving yourself as much information as possible is the key to maximizing not only your personal DPS but your ability to survive as a Rogue.

Each class has an already existing section of Auras made by the community which can be found on Wago; make sure to check it out for some ideas on Auras you may be missing or to find a tool you may have been looking for.

1.2.

Leatrix Plus

Leatrix Plus automates a ton of what would typically be small inconveniences throughout the game like being able to automatically skip NPC dialog, auto-accept quests, and even auto-accept Summons or Resurrections.

1.3.

ReforgeLite Classic

ReforgeLite Classic greatly simplifies the process of reforging by allowing you to either use pre-set stat weights or input your own to achieve the optimal amount of your desired stats. This addon greatly simplifies the process of maintaining your Hit and Expertise caps while allowing you to get as much of your desired secondary stat as possible.

1.4.

Deadly Boss Mods

Deadly Boss Mods is a massive pack of pre-made Raid and Dungeon warnings that will help you best deal with various mechanics throughout your adventures in Mists of Pandaria. While not as easily customized as WeakAuras this is a much simpler solution to being aware of various mechanics that may otherwise be hard to manage.

1.5.

Details

Details is an incredible, compact in-game tool that allows you to break down not only your damage dealt but damage taken by you and allies in your party/raid allowing you to get a better understanding of what happened without having to comb over logs in the middle of a raid or dungeon.

1.6.

Spell Activation Overlay

Spell Activation Overlay is a great way to track procs like Blindside Icon Blindside. While not quite as customizable as Weak Auras this addon is a simple way to instantly notify yourself of procs via a visual cue.

1.7.

ItemRack

Item Rack allows you to quickly swap between both individual pieces of gear and entire sets. With the addition of the in game gear manager this can be a bit redundant but its biggest benefit is the ability to 'queue' item swaps the moment you leave combat, which while only situational can greatly help.

1.8.

Threat Plates

Threat Plates allows for a ton of customization of enemy nameplates. While threat is much less of an issue in Mists of Pandaria it is still very important to have an understanding of what mob is attacking who especially in large pulls. This Addon also allows for a much simpler display of debuffs or buffs on any enemies within name plate display range.

1.9.

AtlasLootClassic

AtlasLoot is a massive set of tables that includes Raid, Dungeon, Reputation Rewards, PvP Rewards, Crafted Items and even World Event loot in a single place with a UI that lets you easily navigate between expansions and tiers to find out exactly what item comes from where.

2.

Rogue Macros

Macros can greatly simplify the process of doing things like using multiple cooldowns in quick succession or even automating a process that would otherwise take several clicks.

We recommend that you check out our Rogue Macros page, which includes a list of useful Macros to get the most out of each button press while playing your Rogue.
