Welcome to the Ashes of Creation skill glossary for Rogue! This page is great for people new to the Rogue Archetype, as it contains the basic information players need to know to excel at both PvE and PvP.

Below is a list of all the spells available to Mages in Ashes of Creation. Each spell includes a short breakdown of important information regarding it's cast time, cooldown and much more.

Acrobatic Strike

46 Mana Range: 4m Quickly strike your target 3 times for 33% physical damage whilst flipping to the other side of them. Puts your target "Off Balance": Cannot move or rotate for 3.1 seconds. If your target is facing you upon activation, gain "Advantage".

Death's Mark

46 Mana Range: 50m Marked for death by a rogue. Take 10% more damage from their attacks. Lasts 1 minute. After their first attack the duration of this debuff is set to 30 seconds. Killing your marked target will reset the cooldown and heal you for 50% of your max health or your target's max health, whichever is lesser. Death's Mark is only usable while "Stealthed" and has a minimum range of 15m.

Cold Embrace Cold Embrace Skill Icon Death's Mark applies "Chilled" upon initial application. If the target is already "Chilled" they instead become "Frozen".

Agile If feint is used within melee range of your target, you will instead strike them and then flip away from them.

Flurry

19 Mana Range: 30m Quickly strike your target twice for 50% physical damage. Gain "Flurry": Physical Attack Speed increased by 10%. Lasts 6 seconds. Can be extended up to 12 seconds. Weapon combo finishers grant a charge of "Flurry". "Flurry" does not interrupt your weapon combo.

Trounce Trounce Skill Icon After you consume "Advantage", gain "Trounce": your next "Flurry" or "Thrash" will strike all targets in melee range. Lasts 10 seconds.

Grappling Hook

23 Mana Range: 30m Throw a grappling hook at your target location and pull yourself to that position. Taking direct damage during this effect will cause you to become "Tripped" for 1 second. Grappling Hook's cooldown is halved when out of combat.

33 Mana Range: 4m Deals 75% physical damage and applies "Bleeding". If the target is already bleeding, instead applys "Hemorraging". Consumes "Advantage" to instead hit all targets in frontal melee range for 150% physical damage with normal melee AoE falloff.

55 Mana Range: 4m Stab your target with a draining dagger that deals 50% physical damage and consumes up to 10 stacks of "Poisoned" to apply "Sap": Deals 8% necrotic damage every 1.5 seconds for each consumed stack of "Poisoned" and heals the rogue the same amount. Lasts 8 seconds. If the target has 10 stacks of "Poisoned" upon activation, gain "Advantage".

Shadow Cascade

69 Mana Range: 20m Dash 20 meters forward through your enemies. After a short delay, deals 150-300% necrotic damage to each target hit, increasing based on the amount of missing health on the target. All targets hit suffer "Bleeding" Targets that are "Poisoned" become "Exposed" Targets below 50% health suffer "Hemorraging" Requires and consumes "Advantage".

46 Mana Range: 8-20m Shoot a sleep dart at a target enemy that applies "Incapacitated" for 10.1 seconds. Minimum range of 8 meters.
Upgrade Description
Anemia If the target of your Sleep Dart is "Bleeding", the duration of the applied "Incapacitated" will be extended by 5 seconds and the bleeds will be removed.

While within you also gain "Blurred": Evasion increased by 25% Enemies within are periodically afflicted with "Blinded": Accuracy reduced by 25%

Stealth

N/A Range: N/A Enter a powerful form of stealth, becoming fully invisible. Other characters may detect you based on their perception and your stealth level, as well as your distance and angle to them. Your allies will always be able to see you. Movement speed is reduced by 20%. "Stealth" will fade upon most offensive ability activation or if damage taken exceeds 5% of your max health while the effect is active. In either case, Stealth's cooldown will trigger again. Gain "Advantage". Stealth can only be activated when out of line of sight or more than 15m away from all non-allies.

Thrash

14 Mana Range: 4m Deals 80% physical damage to your target. This ability can be activated up to 2 more times in a short time frame for increasing damage. However, you must activate another ability before it can be recast. The third and final strike will apply "Bleeding" to your target and grant "Advantage" to yourself. Thrash does not interrupt your weapon combo.

Throw

46 Mana Range: 30m Throw a spinning blade at your target to deal 100% pierce damage and apply "Bleeding" for 6 seconds or up to 12 seconds on full health targets. Throw bounces up to 2 times to other nearby enemies dealing lesser damage with each bounce.
Upgrade Description
Ricochet Throw's base damage is increased by 25% and Throw can now bounce up to 3 additional targets.
Upgrade Description
Unstable Compound If Throw hits two or more targets, the final target is afflicted with "Unstable Compound": Backstabbing, weapon combo finishing, or killing this target will cause an explosion to hit nearby enemies for 125% fire damage and apply "Burning" for the same amount.
