Now I have registered, because i need some help, i actually don't really know what i'm doing wrong with my Feral, but when i look into Rankings there always people higher than i am, even with less gear.

Would be very nice, if someone could help me out with that, here are some logs.

Hello Nahil!

Taking a look through your logs now, here is what I see that you can improve on:

First of all about Claw: I've never used it, from what I hear it isn't terrible, but I would recommend weaning yourself off of it. Feral involves too many small variables to be tracked for an addon to be completely accurate about what you should cast and when you should cast it.

I see two things you need to improve on. Firstly, you need to ensure you are using all of your Bloodtalons procs. Looking through a few kills, you are frequently missing a few (not a ton, but you gotta use them all). It also looks like when you lost a Bloodtalons, you would break cat form and cast Healing touch to get a new one for your finishers, which is a big no-no. You never, ever break cat form to cast Healing touch, the loss in autoattacks is not worth it.

Your opener could also use some work, you are wasting energy by using your Berserk+TF so quickly. I'd suggest you look at my guide above and see exactly the opener I use. Other then when you pop the cooldowns, the rest of the opener seems fine, but you should ensure you don't waste any energy or Berserk uptime by coordinating them properly.

Other then those 2 things, you seem to be doing fine. Keep up the good work, and I hope these tips help!

I never hardcast Healing Touch, i just sometimes fail to use bloodtalons and when i use healing touch the procc is off and i switch to caster form and he hard casts, which i cancel and switch back to cat form (big dps loss.but i have no clue how i get it done well)

also like on gruul im on like ~32k dps,

when i look on here i see people with 4xk dps....which is far more than im doing,

Ah, my mistake. I would recommend that you use a macro to prevent accidental shifts, the one I use is mentioned in this thread: https://www.icy-veins.com/forums/topic/8447-feral-dream-of-cenarius-macro/

Accidental unshifting will hurt you a lot. To prevent losing the charge, I'd suggest you have the general rule of "If PS has 2 seconds left, i cast HT regardless of the circumstances".

so the timing of my bloodtalons and the shifts are fking up my dps? does this make about 10k dps? have you seen the rankings i posted before?

They are definately hurting you, I won't speculate as to how much damage you are losing exactly. I'll say that in your current gear you shouldn't be reaching 10k more then the numbers i'm seeing in these logs, that's slightly ambitious. Just work on the bloodtalons usage and the opener and see how much your damage improves.

Generally, you want to use your cd's as soon as possible.

Some things that could alter that in a fight:

Short fights - Great example would be The Butcher where the fight only lasts ~4 minutes

Priority targets - If the fight has a phase where something takes increased damage or the target needs to die ASAP, you should try to align your cd's to be used there.

Okay, so I read your guide...another Thing is...Do I use my cooldowns on CD or at 25%?

The best answer is: Make sure you don't waste a usage of your cooldowns, then it's based on the encounter.

What that means is that if you are doing a fight you know will last 5 minutes, and won't reach 6, you don't need to use your second cooldown set at 3minutes. You can delay for a better fight moment, trinket proc, etc. But if the fight will last 7 minutes, you need to use your second set right at 3 minutes so you can fit in a third use of them.

The best thing to do is study a fight beforehand and figure out when exactly you want to use your cooldowns. If you have a specific example you want help working out, i'm happy to chart that out for you.

Hello again, and welcome back sir!

Firstly, I'd like to say that your opener improved immensely. Good work on that.

You noted yourself the loss of a couple bloodtalons uses, which is always something that can be worked on. The rule is that if you see one more BT use then PS proc, you caught them all (since you can precast one before the pull). I also see quite a few uses on these bosses that didn't get used on your finishing moves, instead being used on Shred/Rake (not too many, but keep a watch for that happening).

One more thing i've noted from this log: On the kar'gath kill, you spent collectively about 15 seconds of the fight energy capped, meaning that's 15 seconds of passive energy regen you didn't receive. This was most likely resultant from fight mechanics and movement. In general, try to be aware if you aren't going to be able to reach the boss for a few seconds so you can spend your energy beforehand, and not waste any.

Other then that, good work!

40k in current gear levels either involves a mythic weapon or a crapton of good RNG. Don't stress yourself out too much.
