All In-game Portraits!

Recommended Posts

Ever wondered how many portraits there are in Diablo? More than you'd think. While many of these remain exclusive to the Asian gameplay region, Blizzard has added enough portraits for up to ten Seasons in Patch 2.4!

Portraits related to Microtransactions in Asian Region

  • Blizzard has been testing microtransactions for quite a while now.
  • Diablo 3 players in the Asian gameplay region, can purchase additional stash space, character slots, cosmetics (including wings/portraits) or  increased XP/Blood Shard drops with a currency called Platinum.
    • Some of the Portraits are hence available only in that region.
    • To make it easier for you to identify these, they have a single occurence in the screenshot below.

Seasonal Portraits

  • With Seasonal Journey, we get 6 Portraits every Season.
    • The first Portrait is always unlocked by reaching Chapter IV and continues up to Guardian (Chapter IX).
      • Seasonal Portraits always have a leaf, that's changing colors.
      • For identification purposes, Seasonal Portraits are included in a batch of six with a leaf and various recolors.

All in-game Portraits

  • Here are all in-game portraits, some have been in the game for quite a while, but a lot of them have been added in Patch 2.4.
    • To learn more about the forthcoming Patch, consider paying our Patch Notes a visit.
  • Portraits in the first row are mainly cosmetic and exclusive to the Asian region.
    • The Diablo-like Portrait right after the rainbow Portrait, was a reward in Season 3, before Blizzard implemented Seasonal Journey.
    • The Nexus Portrait is awarded for reaching Level 12 in Heroes of the Storm.
  • In the second row, the first two Portraits are exlusive to the Asian Region, followed by:
    • Season 5 Portraits
    • Season 4 Portraits
    • Murloc Portrait
      • Awarded to those who visited BlizzCon.
  • The third and fourth row are Portraits for upcoming Seasons
    • The fourth row ends with class-specific Portraits.
      • May be awarded for completing class-specific achievements in the future.
  • The fifth row contains Portraits for new Seasons and a Crusader-specific Portrait.
  • The sixth row is also for future Seasons.

Some good news today, as the promised extra buff has arrived to Season 21 and we're getting double Horadric Caches! Each time you complete a bounty you'll be getting 2 chests, both affected by the difficulty you're playing at. This will not affect the Challenge Rift cache. The event starts in under an hour, at 8PM CEST, 11AM PDT.

We also found out that future PTR test cycles will be longer, with an extra week of actual PTR testing when a new season comes.
      Double Bounties (source)
      Hello everyone –
The trials this season brings upon a new event for the community. Starting from 11am PT today and through the end of Season 21, all bounties will be doubled. What does this exactly entail? All Horadric Caches earned from bounties will be doubled. This means that each time you complete bounties in an Act, you will now receive two Horadric Caches as opposed to just one. Double the bounty rewards!
There are a few things to keep in mind with this effect:
The bonus cache does benefit from difficulty level; it is essentially as though you completed twice the bounties. The rewards inside the Horadric Caches are otherwise unaffected; drop rates or the amount of individual rewards have not been altered. The bonus cache earned from Challenge Rifts is not affected; this is a separate type of cache.
Check out our Game Guide for a list of bounty-exclusive Legendary items and more information on the Bounty system.
On top of this, we would like to note that we plan on extending PTR testing timelines prior to each new season going forward. This will result in a slightly extended season, and will allow for 2 weeks of PTR testing for the community along with an additional week for the team to implement and work feedback/changes in before the season begins. The intention here is to make sure we can apply as much feedback as possible from the community during these PTR timelines while also giving us a good amount of time to test these changes before they go live.
      Thanks again. Happy slaying!

After the recent Demon Hunter 150 clears, it's time for the second class to break that barrier in Season 21, as we now have a Barbarian max rift clear! Redditor Nexrate has done it, and done it twice it seems, as his first 150 clear was lost to some bugs on the leaderboards, but the second one remained. The build is a modified Rend Wrath of the Wastes, with Zei's instead of Stricken, using the seasonal power to clear everything up, with the big challenge being getting that snowball at the end (and aiming it properly) to finish off the boss in time, with the Coundiut before the boss spawned helping out a bit as well.
As for the other classes, the closest is a GR 143 Necromancer, followed by a 142 Necro and Witch Doctor.

After Wudijo's recent Rank 1 and World 2nd GR 150 clear, beating his World First clan-mate by almost 5 minutes, he's made a video detailing his journey to the top. We find out some truly impressive stuff: his refusal to simply grind paragon levels to make the task easier, the fact he plays along side a full-time job and had to sacrifice a lot of sleep, we get to hear about the many near-misses and how he had to learn to perfectly play around the seasonal theme, the fact it took him twice as many keys as he thought it would (5.5K), the fact he used 60 keys an hour, the fact he used as many keys as last season, when he was pushing on 6 classes and a lot more!

Wudijo scored the world's fastest Solo Greater Rift 150 in time in Season 21 with his Demon Hunter after 5,500 used keys and weeks of attempts. Congrats!
UPDATE: This is currently the world's second clear of Solo GR150, not world first as we thought, we apologize for the confusion!
Placeholder for tweet 1289929742800449540   The player completed the rift and killed the Infernal Maiden with 1 minute and 4 seconds remaining on the timer.

Here are the final moments of the run!

It's time for some more weirdness as Wudijo is trying some crazy stuff! So how can someone get from level 1 to 70 in 5 seconds you might ask? Well it's easy! You just need 8 hours of torment 16 bounty farming, 1 crash where you almost lose 341 bounty caches on the ground, Custerian Wristguards and Avarice Band! But after that it's only 5 seconds of picking up all the gold and getting a whole lot of XP through the bracers! Enjoy:
