Well-known esports team compLexity Gaming (coL) has decided to part ways with its Heroes of the Storm division. On a different topic, Blizzard has opened match fairness feedback threads on the official forums.

compLexity has parted ways with its Heroes of the Storm team. coL.Heroes had failed to qualify in the Blizzcon 2015 World Championship and they also lost their main Support player, Alexei "Blinks" Bazhenov in late October. The team bounced back, winning the first place in the World Cyber Arena Americas (WCA) Open Qualifier in November. However, they haven't participated in a tournament ever since and they have withdrawn from the WCA main event, which is taking place these days in China. The players will be chasing their luck individually. You can read the official statement by compLexity here.

On another note, following the launch of the first phase of matchmaking improvements to Heroes of the Storm, the team has created threads in the official forums (NA/EU), where players can report unfair or unbalanced match-ups.

Blizzard Icon Spyrian

As many of you may already have heard, we recently brought the first phase of matchmaking improvements to Heroes of the Storm, and our primary goal is to create matches that are fair for both teams in every game.

If you recently matched for a game that you believe was very unfair, we'd like to hear about it so that we can investigate your individual matches to find out what went wrong. This will help us continue to make matchmaking improvements in the future based on findings from your reports.

=========================================
Details to Include:
To report a match in this thread, please include the following information in your reply:
  • Summary -- Briefly describe why the match felt unfair.
  • Game Mode -- Quick Match, Hero League, or Team League?
  • BattleTag and ID # -- Found at the top of your friends list.
  • Region -- What region did you log into when the unfair match occurred?
  • Time and Timezone -- The approximate time that you played the match.
  • Other Relevant Info -- Screenshots of the Loading Screen, etc.

=========================================

We need this thread to be clear of any off-topic chatter so that it's very easy to gather report information. As a result, this thread will be heavily moderated. Additionally, while we will review all of the reports that are written here, we will not be able to respond to each report individually. Thank you for understanding.

=========================================

Edit: If you are unsure about what information to include in your report, check out Dibby's and Lherin's reports below to see a couple great examples of what we're looking for in this thread.
