The dates, prize pool and other details for the Heroes of the Storm 2016 Summer Championships have been revealed.

It looks like summer will start and conclude quite earlier this year, at least for Heroes of the Storm. In some regions (most notably Europe), the qualifiers for the Summer Regionals will begin before the Spring Global Championship even concludes (March 31)! ESL recently announced that the four qualifiers for Europe will begin on March 23. Team Dignitas and mYinsanity, the two European teams that will take part in the upcoming Spring Global Championship, can directly advance to the final qualifier (if they wish) since they have direct invites to the European Summer Regionals.

The Summer Regionals themselves will start in all regions in early April, merely a couple of weeks after the Spring Global Championship ends. Europe and North America will even have two Regionals.

The Summer Global Championship will take place at Dreamhack Summer in Sweden on June 18-21. The massive prize pool for both the regionals and the finals amounts to more than 1.2 million dollars!

The rest of the details can be found here.
