No values are given for the stat weights on the Stat page although they can be deduced (except crit) from the calculation on the Gear/BiS page. Unless they're being updated, it seems icy stat weights for demon are:

The values there are not intended as a stat weight priority, it is simply an oversight in updating things. The weights are still being established and calculated - definitely don't use the weights in that section. I'll put in a note to Furty to get this section updated.

I run Demo, is the legendary shoulder piece good enough to replace the tier shoulder? IF so which other tier piece would I use to get to the 4 piece?

I came by exactly for this reason because I've changed back to my beloved demo and can't find the weights!  I thought maybe I was just overlooking it and then found this post.  I'll wait and just try to remember the order priority when picking between drops :)  Thanks for all the hard work!

I'm not sure on the exact numbers and how much of a difference there is, but most likely yes, it is better than the 4 piece. That said, if you had, for example, the belt available, it would be better to use that + the 4 piece. What are your other options?

Simcraft is also a really good way to find weights/compare gear!

We are currently in the process of updating our guides in preparation for the release of 7.2 - please understand that we will not be answering questions in this section about "What is better for 7.2?" prior to the patch release, since all the information will be available when the patch goes live. Please be patient and thanks for waiting!

Any word on if the 500 main stat feast in 7.2 will be better than the 375 haste food?

I believe this is currently being updated across all guides. It will be, yes :)

I'm a WoW noob and English isn't my first language but I'm a bit confused about the ability priority list. When done with the opening sequence I'm left with 0 soul shards, right? So....I can cast  Doom and Summon Darkglare and then I have 0 soul shards again?

I'm sure that it is me doing something wrong. Can someone explain to me (without calling me an idiot :P ) what I do wrong, please.

Soul Conduit is better now, shards are way more valuable with new traits and mastery. Guide outdated yet again./

It's not better in any way. I'm using the 4-piece T19 set bonus and Recurrent Ritual, soul conduit sims a good 50k worse, and it is actually noticeably worse when testing on dummy. It does smooth out the rotation quite a lot, but when you are above 30% native haste, you are getting out enough imps for Demonbolt to generate a LOT of extra damage.

My question is as follows: Are you sure that Ring of the Scoured Clan is BiS? I have a 865 ring from a random WQ, and it sims way, way better than Scoured Clan, due to the insane amount of haste loss the latter would cause. For some reason, Blizz seems to think crit/mastery/int is all demo locks need.

That's correct, yeah? The rotation page isn't a set rotation, it is a priority. If you can't do a step, simply go to the next one. So you will, after the opener, Doom, Darkglare, then you have 0 shards. You go down the priority until you find something you can do.

Generally, if you're saying something is better, you need to show us. Show us sims or logs of it performing better.

From the guide:

Quote

With the existence of Titanforged and Mythic+ dungeons, there is no such thing as a hard Best in Slot anymore. This is more of a guideline for the best pieces to keep an eye out for in your raid or dungeon (if applicable). Be smart, and if you find higher item level pieces with valuable stat combinations do not hesitate to upgrade to them.

It is specifically tailored towards raids and dungeons.

You should use Soul Conduit if you have Thalkiel's Ascendance (new Golden Trait).

I was surprised to see the Wakeners Loyalty as one of the badest dps Legendary in this guide. I tried all of them and this, paired with the shoulders, give me more Damage than everything else. Am I the only one?

Could you perhaps elaborate on this? Have you got any logs/sims of you testing it, using it in raids etc.?

This would help a lot more than the info currently given.

I never used anything else in Raid than shoulders and Head since i have them. So i cant show you logs compared with all three Items. My tests are always multiple 3 minutes tests on dummy and simcraft. Both has better results with the head. As soon as i find a way to make my results public i could show it.

If you have the shoulders and the ring, I would be VERY surprised if they are performing worse than the others you have. Belt can sometimes perform better, but I would never expect helm to do better than any of these.
