The Real Enemy May Not Be Sargeras?

  • The pillars of creation were the tools used by the titans to seal away the Old Gods.
So as in the article it makes sense that their pawns send us out to find the pillars to "stop the Legion", once that job is done we will be fighting to keep the pillars out of the Old Gods hands (or tentacles, mouths, whatever limbs they have)

Not quite. The Pillars were used by the keepers to essentially forge Azeroth and allow it to become what it is now. The reason they are present in Legion is because the races of the Broken Isles used them to create the Temple of Elune and strengthen it, as well as seal the portal for the Burning Legion. We are hunting them now because the Old Gods would want the Legion's portals to be removed. The Old Gods hate the Legion just as much as we do, since eradication of everything by Sargeras includes eradication of the Old Gods.

  • Queen Azhara was created (from an Elven queen to a Naga) by N'Zoth
  • Xavius was created (from an Elf to a satyr) by N'Zoth
  • The Emerald Nightmare is created by N'Zoth

Other than the Emerald Nightmare, there is no confirmation that N'zoth was the one whispering to Azshara as the explosion happened. It's just referenced as a very powerful entity. It's possible, for sure, but it's not 100%.

N'zoth didn't do anything to Xavius in his creation, it was Sargeras. Sargeras destroyed his body and tortured his spirit. He realised he could be useful and returned him to life as a Satyr.

Also there's a heartbeat in Karazhan specifically the crypts as most people would probably know. Going to karazhan in 7.1, i tend to read into stuff too much that i know nothing about so the heartbeat could of already been answered for all i know, just a thought that it could be related.

Definitely something else to consider. It can't be coincidence that we're going to Kara.

There are so many people it could be though. Medivh/Sarg tortured many people down there.

i feel like they are looking to much into it on certain things.

  • "The boy-king serves at the master's table. Three lies he will offer you."

probably refers to God-King Skovald and his inflated and delusional ego, The 3 lies he tells himself and offers to other Valajar to get them to join are; 1. he is a god, 2. he is a king, and 3. that he is worthy.

"At the hour of her third death, she will usher in our coming".

This could be a emotional reference to Jaina, where she "died" after losing something important to her:
1. Arthas
2. Destruction of Theramore

Maybe Kalec dies in the expansion, probably when the legion infiltrates Dalaran to steal the Pillars.

I think this refers to Lord Jorach Ravenholdt from rogue orderhall or lord kur'talos ravencrest in black rook hold.

What do you think?

Not even slightly.  It fits better and makes more sense if it's Elisande or Azeroth.  Like the OP said, Sylvanas has already died three times and if they kill the Queen of the Undead for real, where does that leave Forsaken players?

It's Khadgar or Medivh.

Can it be a physical death instead? :(

Most hated character right here. I despise Jaina.

I just feel like it's too simple. They're evidently trying to pose a riddle, so why make it so easy?

Personally, I'd love to find out that this is somehow linked to Anzu and the prophecy of the Raven God.

Sometimes "easy" can be some of the hardest puzzles to solve.

In terms of each of the whispers that Il'gynoth provides I can see how each of them are relevant IF they're true. I'll provide my opinion on what I think each of them means below!

"The boy-king serves at the master's table. Three lies he will offer you." Likely refers to Anduin's new reign, the lies are yet to come I guess.

"Flesh is his gift. He is your true creator." Is the only one I'm not entirely sure about. Possibly Sargeras being our true creator?

"The king of diamonds has been made a pawn." As already mentioned refers to King Magni's return.

"Five keys to open our way. Five torches to light our path." Could hint that we're actually gathering the pillars of creation and delivering them right to our enemy.

"Her heart is a crater, and we have filled it." Likely refers to Jaina seeing as Theramore, her home town, has been obliterated and ever since the event she has used hate to guide her actions.

"To find him, drown yourself in a circle of stars." Could be referring to Velen seeing as he wants to return to his home planet, Argus. The stars being mentioned could be the Naaru.

"The lord of ravens will turn the key." I think is directed at Khadgar, the wielder of Atiesh. Seeing as one of the other comments Il'gynoth makes is about the pillars of creation and Khadgar is who we deliver them to, these two lines could be related.

And, finally, "At the hour of her third death, she will usher in our coming." I'm sure is referirng to Sylvanas. Her first death was to Arthas, her second was her suicide after Arthas's downfall and her third is yet to come so it would seem. Given there is already quite the storyline going on with her and Genn it will be interesting to see how this unfolds. On top of that she has been seen communing with Helya and trying to steal power from Eyir to try to gain immortality.

Sorry for the lengthy post, just giving my input on what I've interpreted from each of the whispers that Il'gynoth gives you.

Definitely true, I think that's a fair point.

This almost certainly refers to the Curse of Flesh from Yogg.

If you have read any of the books at all especially the war of the ancients trilogy then you already should know what's coming.

I mean, I have read all of the Warcraft novels/comics/encyclopedias etc., but I'm not really sure what you're referencing.

We'd like to introduce you to a game-changing nameplate addon for Season 4 that's essential for excelling in Mythic+ dungeons.
Tracking every mob and their abilities in Mythic+ can be overwhelming, but this addon excels by replacing standard mob nameplates and cast bars to enhance your gameplay.
Once installed, mobs with critical interrupts will display a thick orange cast bar, while less crucial ones will show a thinner yellow bar.

Mobs with less crucial interrupts will have a thinner yellow cast bar.

Additionally, any mobs that inflict heavy frontal cone damage are marked with an arrow and feature orange cast bars. A voice alert will also prompt you to move by announcing "front."

The addon further assists by indicating non-interruptible spells that require crowd control with a purple cast bar and a vocal "cc" alert.

For tanks, if you're not holding aggro, the nameplates of the mobs will turn red, quickly showing you which ones to target.

There's also a handy visual cue on the cast bar, surrounded by a green border, signaling when you can interrupt an ability and your interrupt skill is off cooldown.

      Ready to try it out?
You can download Quazii Plater here.
For setup assistance, watch Quazii's comprehensive video guide.
Quazii has also created a Mythic+ cheatsheet that details all critical abilities for Season 4 dungeons, available in a text format.

Players are currently unable to catalyze gear from the Black Temple Timewalking cache into class set piece.
It's unclear whether this limitation is a bug or an intended feature, but the gear obtained from completing this week's Black Temple Timewalking quest cannot be converted into a set piece using the Revival Catalyst, as reported on Reddit.
I personally checked this at Antuka and can confirm that gear from the weekly quest cache cannot be catalyzed. I received the Grips of Damnation from the Essence boss yesterday, and found that the item was ineligible for conversion at the Catalyst.

Here's how you can upgrade your legendary weapons in Dragonflight Season 4 next week!
This one is for Fyr'alath and Nasz'uro owners. You must first farm 2 Antique Bronze Bullions. However, you can only acquire 1 Antique Bronze Bullion per week from Awakened Raid bosses. The bullion will drop in Raid Finder difficulty too.
Next week, the cap will be raised to 2 and a catch-up method will be implemented, so players who didn't have the chance to get their first bullion can get it from the weekly quest in Valdrakken.
Anyway, the soonest you can upgrade your legendary to the base item level of 502 is during the week of April 30th (so next week).
Once you have 2 Antique Bronze Bullions, head to the Parting Glass in Valdrakken.

Evokers need to buy Scale of Awakening from Iszinormi for 2 Antique Bronze Bullions. Death Knights, Paladins, and Warriors need to buy Scale of Awakening from Iszinormi for  2 Antique Bronze Bullions. Once purchased, use the consumable to upgrade your legendary to item level 502, the base item level for Season 4.
After that, you can further upgrade your legendary using Flightstones and crests. Check out our gear upgrading guide for more info!

Cache of Timewarped Treasures obtained from Black Temple Timewalking quest this week has a chance to contain Ashes of Al'ar!
Don't forget to complete this week's Timewalking raid! If you're having trouble getting into a group, create your own one, invite 2 tanks 4-5 healers and around 14 DPS and you are all set! Visit Shattrath, and talk to the Timewalking NPC to queue up for the raid.
The raid is extremely easy to compete and what's more, you get item level 493 loot along your way.
Upon defeating Illidan Stormrage and completing the quest, you will receive Cache of Timewarped Treasures that has an increased chance of containing Ashes of Al'ar or another piece of gear.
Demon Hunters shouldn't forget to get their warglaives transmog arsenal from Illidan and the reputation buff will help you add a couple of mounts to your collection!
