SV Mastery buffed

I didn't see this in patch notes but it seems like mastery is giving procs of mongoose bite from pet attacks now? Once I pop aspect it seems like I am getting stack after stack of mongoose. Watch the vid, I hit 699k dps about 30 sec or so into my opening on mythic nythendra : https://youtu.be/MBtWi9MHbq8?t=806

I think I recall hearing something about a stealth buff that made our mastery proccable off of our autos or something.

At this point I think we all just assumed it was working as intended =P  Took an awfully long time to address it for a spec altering bug.

That said, it isn't altering my simulations At All.  Is that because A - Simulationcraft hasn't incorporated the fix?  Or B - Never handled the bug in the first place, so I've been overvaluing mastery all along?

Can confirm the proc chance of our mastery is increased by a mile. I wouldn't even need to use Snake Hunter to get stacks. Just using Aspect of the Eagle during lust phase gives plenty of Mongoose procs to be able to just spam it.

I was a MM main in raids until I tried it out after 7.1 in our Heroic EN farm and it exceeded my expectations, I was top dps during the most fights (Also Ursoc) and I never did that well as MM (My MM gear wasn't also great compared to other raiders)

Here's my logs - Apparently I'm EU top 3 with the similar ilvl to mine. It's Heroic logs because that's where I tested the spec if it would be better for our Mythic progression https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/hx314zWbBQRn7yVj#type=damage-done&source=19&fight=1

      Hello,
The Sworn is recruiting DPS.  We are a Horde guild on Arthas and our current progression is 4/9 Mythic TOS.  We only raid two nights a week, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:05 PM until 12:05 AM Eastern.  Currently, our main goal is to push Mythis TOS progression versus clearing farmed content, please keep this in mind if you wish to join us.
From you, we would expect 100% attendance during your trial period; after that if you cannot make a raid or will be late it is mandatory to keep the raid leader updated.  In order to continue making good progression while raiding only two nights a week, we expect that you know your class inside-out and will research any bosses you are unfamiliar with prior to raids.
If you are interested, you can either reply to this thread and link your most recent combat logs for review or hit me up on battlenet, Violentnacho, recruiting officer (violentravi#1826.
      Thank you for your consideration
      Xoxo

According to Azortharion simulations, our best for Antorus will be Qapla/Soul+Dire Frenzy/OWTP , ¿what stats need this build? At this moment, we need Mastery/Haste for Dire Frenzy build and Critical/Haste for OWTP build: therefore, they are mutually exclusive, right?  Or at least I understand that.
      So, ¿what stats?

Looking for some advice about how to improve my DPS - I should be doing better than this I feel (using stomp build). My guild only raided NH HC and I got to the point where new gear was out-doing the 2pc 895 tier 19 set I had, which is why I'm not using 2pc tier 19 atm. If this was the wrong choice and I'm better dropping my ilevel to go back to it please let me know. I have most BM Leggos so again if I'm using the wrong combo please advise me. I would like to tweak my stats but not sure what gear would do me better than what I have. Any help you can give me would be so much appreciated.

Hey all, Im new to survival hunter, i used to play bm/mm before, and with them i never really worried about what pet to use. With bm i just went with a random spirit beast and with mm i run the Lone Wolf talent. I get that the whole point of choosing a pet in survival is which will give to more procs of Mastery: Hunting Companion. Here's my question. Does a carrion bird's Bloody Screech and a tank pet's Thunderstomp have a chance to proc an addition charge of mongoose bite? and would Thunderstomp be more effective than Ferocity spec's Spiked Collar in procing mongoose bite?
