Unholy dps Prio WeakAura

Recommended Posts

So, I am maining a Blood DK. I recently started playing some Unholy (Love the Lore and class Art ;) ). My dilemma is that I'm not that good, so in an attempt to truly understand the class I tried my hand at creating a DPS prio WeakAura.

The WeakAura does:

Not track CDs

Not track Talents

Shows (what I understands is the) single-target rotation

Now I am looking for feedback on it. So if anyone wants, have the time and so on, pleas leave a comment if I got something wrong.

I come from a Enhancement Shaman background witch is so different from Unholy, When i switched to Blood as my main the choice fell on Unholy (I suck at it but its fun to dps now and then) The idea was to create a helper for Unholy's basic rotation, and in the process learn the spec. I admit its far from including and i will try to at least get in the different states Unholy will enter (just cast Soul Reaper, Scourge of the world (kind of is there already) and so on) witch will alter the priority.

I feel that I have not answer your question tho, and as it stands now it will only help with the absolute basics (DoT, Wound, SotW and DC management). Yea, and i know the SotW priority is a bit off -.-

Gotcha!  What talents did you take? I can discuss MY rotation ( it will vary because I have legendary shoulders & Bracers) and what I track.

Pot/Gargoyle/Dark Transformation

Outbreak (keep dot on all the time)

Festering Strike to apply wounds (you want between 2 - 8 wounds (but its ok to have 6+))

Soul Reaper (Needs 3 wounds to be at full potential)

Use your weapon Ability to pop wounds and gain full ability of Soul Reaper.

If/When you get a Death Coil proc (if you have the talent in your weapon for it) > All.

Death Coil runic dump.

Death and Decay.

There ARE other things involved, but that's the basic part. Sometimes I find myself counting out loud how many Wounds I have on my target. Its hard to track a full rotation, you kind have to beat it into yourself.

What I Track is , Outbreak, Wound Stacks, and Soul Reaper primarily. Does this help at all? or no?

The WeakAura was done with Castigator and Soul Reaper in mind.

Am I correct in this assumption?

Unholy have the following states:

  1. Apocalypse

    FS (<=7 Wounds) – SR – Apocalypse

  2. Soul Reaper (Outside of Apo)

    FS (<=3 Wounds) – SR – SS (to burs 3 Wounds)

  3. Scourge of Worlds

    DC (>=110rp and/ or Prock) – FS (<=0 Wounds) – SS

  4. 4 and above Runes

    DC (>=110rp and/ or Prock) – FS (<=4 Wounds) – SS

  5. 3 or below Runes

    DC – FS (<=4 Wounds) – SS

Now with 7.1.5 here I'll probably scrap this project.

Thanks for the help :)

      As the title already said I'm needing help understanding how to make the build like the guide says, i somehow need to get the full set bonus of bones of Rathma but i also need the full Captain Crimson's trimmings bonus for cd reduction i can get that with ring of royale grandeur but i also need to use fate's vow helm but if i use it i cant get the full Bones of Rathma set bonus or Captain Crimson's trimmings bonus.
      If anyone know how i can get that build to work please say how, I'm open to any suggestions.

      I am going the corpselance support build for Necromancer and the build has me taking Corpselance with Brittle and the pestilence set on top of that, if I were to take off the ability Corpselance and change it to another ability say for example Bone Spikes with Frost spikes, would the damage decrease an amount that it would not be worth it?

      Hey everybody! So the other day, I decided to make a 5-minute guide on how to play the Warrior class in WoW. It's not super in-depth, but I just wanted some good feedback from the Warrior community on this. Lemme know what you guys think! I also hope that this is able to help somebody out there.   ?

      So i heard about primal ancients, and i m kinda desperate to get it. Why? It can make my Demon Hunter even powerful then he is now (I deal about 35m damage) So how do you get them? I know how though. Get in a GR 70 and do it Solo, but how do you do it actually? How much do you need to farm this for? A week? A month? A YEAR? The point is, i want primal ancients, and have NO IDEA how to farm them :// so... i need a bit of help for farming :))

      I'm new to using icy-veins, and I cannot seem to get used to navigating the WoW class guides. Why is stat info the 13th section of the guides, but max level content 6th through 12th? Where do I find comparisons between specs?
