Heading into Nighthold tonight for the first time

Recommended Posts

Check out the guide for each of the bosses. My advice is bring tomes and lots of them!

Many of the fights have a lot of AoE but if you want to pad the heck out of the meters on Skorpyron run with volley. Rest of them are mostly single target with a bit of AoE, other than ones like High Botanist (splits into 3).

Stampede is still not worth taking because most fights have a lot of single target.

I ran with the same old raid set up as usual, didn't swap out to way of the cobra thought as almost every fight has periodic adds that need to be cleaved.

I managed to get 10/10N and 5/10H last night and going back in tonight to work on more. Very fun and enjoyable (although on some bosses wayyy too easy) raid!

We did the first 5 bosses hc and I ran the MM icy veins ST spec for all of them. The only one I felt I really suffered on was the first scorpion boss. Definitely worth running volley on that fight, maybe even piercing and explosive although I have not tried that aoe spec really yet.

Another boss you could run aoe would be Aluriel the Spellblade (or something like that). She has 3 different add phases so lots of aoe potential there.

Those were the only two fights out of the first 5 bosses that my ST spec ended up outside the top 5 dps. Hope that info helps!

I did this with a guild I'm trialing with, and I don't remember what I did.  Last night,  I joined another guild group I run with for practice and did like 490k with a BM volley, and I'm still adjusting to the changes (I'm really getting tired of having to change my rotations every couple of months....).  Krosus was a different matter.  I tried MM with Piercing shot, but that wasn't really satisfactory (I'm sure I wasn't always casting it during vulnerable) and ended up going back to BM with MoC.

As the title already said I'm needing help understanding how to make the build like the guide says, i somehow need to get the full set bonus of bones of Rathma but i also need the full Captain Crimson's trimmings bonus for cd reduction i can get that with ring of royale grandeur but i also need to use fate's vow helm but if i use it i cant get the full Bones of Rathma set bonus or Captain Crimson's trimmings bonus.
If anyone know how i can get that build to work please say how, I'm open to any suggestions.
Link to the guide I'm  talking about: https://www.icy-veins.com/d3/necromancer-rathma-army-of-the-dead-build

I am going the corpselance support build for Necromancer and the build has me taking Corpselance with Brittle and the pestilence set on top of that, if I were to take off the ability Corpselance and change it to another ability say for example Bone Spikes with Frost spikes, would the damage decrease an amount that it would not be worth it?

Hey everybody! So the other day, I decided to make a 5-minute guide on how to play the Warrior class in WoW. It's not super in-depth, but I just wanted some good feedback from the Warrior community on this. Lemme know what you guys think! I also hope that this is able to help somebody out there.   ?

So i heard about primal ancients, and i m kinda desperate to get it. Why? It can make my Demon Hunter even powerful then he is now (I deal about 35m damage) So how do you get them? I know how though. Get in a GR 70 and do it Solo, but how do you do it actually? How much do you need to farm this for? A week? A month? A YEAR? The point is, i want primal ancients, and have NO IDEA how to farm them :// so... i need a bit of help for farming :))

I'm new to using icy-veins, and I cannot seem to get used to navigating the WoW class guides. Why is stat info the 13th section of the guides, but max level content 6th through 12th? Where do I find comparisons between specs?
