Fury Battle Cry Rotation

Recommended Posts

So, I had a concern regarding the recommended battle cry rotation for fury warriors. It says to cast battle cry and avatar, immediately followed by Rampage, then Raging Blow, then Odyn's Fury. I feel like it would be a better idea to use Odyn's Fury before Raging Blow so that you can guarantee that Battle Cry doesn't drop off before Odyn's Fury is done ticking. If it does, some of the ticks won't crit. Thoughts?

Well, i don't play fury often, but i guess that's how u should behave because fury is a 3 GCD rotation. That means: between 2 raging blow u can cast 2 other abilities before it is ready again. When you use OF before RB, u have a problem with the filler and you wan't be able to cast two RB in the BC-window (and that's what you want). With the recommended rotation you are sure to be always enraged and get two RB during the BC-window.

Think that is what is written in the guide. If you think you're doing more dmg with an other rotation...just try it on a dummy :-)

An additional cast of raging blow during battlecry is more damage than a non-buffed Odyn's Fury tick.  Raging blow does something like 270% of weapon damage instantly, even more when Inner Fury is talented, whereas Odyn's Fury does 400% over 4 seconds.  The reason you cast in that order is so that you proc Frothing, rampage to proc enrage and allow frothing to be procced again sooner, and then raging blow.  This allows you to cast OF and BT and then Raging Blow again during the Battlecry rotation, assuming you've hit the Haste breakpoint (which is 30% I believe)  So it's a choice of losing ~100% weapon damage on a tick compared to ~500% during Battle Cry.

Enter Eclipse Apply or maintain your Moonfire, Sunfire, and Stellar Flare (if talented) Keep Celestial Alignment / Incarnation: Chosen of Elune (if talented) on cooldown Cast Convoke the Spirits when you have less than 50 Astral Power. Try to pair with your other cooldowns but do not lose a use. Spend your Astral Power on Starsurge or Starfall on multi-target. Do not lose uses of Warrior of Elune, Force of Nature, or Fury of Elune (if talented). Cast the Eclipse-appropriate filler. Item 3 says to cast Celestial Alignment as a higher priority than (presumably that means before you cast) Convoke the Spirits.
The subsection on Convoke the Spirits Optimization says "Generally, you will play around your Convoke and not your Celestial Alignment, as you almost never want to cast Celestial Alignment without Convoke up as well."
I'm not quite understanding how I'm supposed to prioritize Celestial Alignment in my rotation but not generally cast Celestial Alignment without Convoke up.
Unless Convoke is a special sort of channel, if you actually managed to cast Celestial Alignment during Convoke, wouldn't it interrupt the channeling of Convoke?
If I am supposed to cast Convoke and then cast Celestial Alignment as it's channeling, shouldn't the rotation guide have those reversed?
I'm sorry to be a noodge about accuracy here, but either I'm badly misunderstanding what looks like fairly simple instructions or the two elements of the instructions are inconsistent with one another.

I am new to mmos and I was playing an Arcane Mage but my fiance said frost mages are better so I am trying to learn how to play it and I have watched videos and gone over the icy viens information but it is still very confusing for me. I know this sounds bad but can anyone like dumb it down or like comment simpler instructions right now i am going off this attachment i made based of some advice and off of icy viens and i am only doing 4152 dps total so I am not sure if this is low or not but I am already level 120 right now

      About Us
Skunkworks is a guild for players who can not or do not want to commit to the time-intensive raid schedules of traditional "hardcore" guilds.
However, we still maintain a high caliber player environment and make an efficient use of our raiding time.
We raid Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 - 11:00 PST, just 8 hours a week and never more.

We are very protective of our guild environment and selective in recruitment. We are looking for solid players mechanically as well as intellectually.
We all get paid to deal with idiots, why should we pay to spend our leisure time with them as well?

Skunkworks has been around for multiple expansions and has historically always been at the top of the 2-night raiding guild scene.

Hi everyone! This is my first time playing endgame content, thanks to some veteran friends who invited me to play with them. I started with a Fury Warrior, and now that I feel comfortable, I started logging the runs.

Here is a part of Antorus Normal ( I accidentaly deleted the file later which included the rest of the bosses :( )
      https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/8pkvRmdHBzjNAFXQ

Would anyone please take a look at it to see where I have room for improvement (probably everything) and how can I tackle those issues?

      Thanks!!
PD: Im lacking one of the BiS leggos, and ever since I have the Convergance of Fates trinket, I lost my rotation, cant seem to find when to fire each ability now.

Hello fellow warriors. I'm looking for some input on my DPS and my issues with it. I currently sim 1.8m on Raidbots, but I'm only able to pull 1.2-1.3m consistently. I feel like I have a good grasp on the rotation: 100Rage Rampage > BT > RB/FS > RB/FS > BT > Rampage. I pop my CDs (all 3) either before my first Rampage or right after I use Rampage for two Rampage in a row. Odyn's Fury comes right after my Rampages with Battle Cry.
I finally got my Pantheon trinket last week and it killed my haste. It's down to 20% from 25%, which didn't make my DPS drop (it went up 100-300k). I have my 4 piece and BiS Leggos. I plan on TRYING to replace my belt with a Haste one (if I can get one to drop).
      Here are my character's logs:
      https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/us/dalaran/xulbehemoth
I don't have an updated raid to go on since I forgot to log my last Normal.
