<Turkeyism> is a (7/7M EN) (2/3M ToV) (3/10M NH) weekend raiding guild on Stormrage US. Our guild was originally formed in early 2013 as a 10man Heroic raid team with the goal to have fun and get as far as possible. After having defeated Heroic Garrosh in Siege of Ogrimmar and ending the Mists of Pandaria expansion ranked 19th on Stormrage, our team decided to push forward into Warlords of Draenor. With the introduction of Mythic in 6.0, our team set out to expand our roster, overcome new challenges, and defeat the final boss on Mythic, all while maintaining a fun atmosphere to raid in. We finished Warlords of Draenor ranking 14th on Stormrage and managed to get 27 of our raiders the Felsteel Annihilator mount from Mythic Archimonde. We are now currently raiding Mythic Nighthold and looking for additional players (870 ilvl+) who seek a challenge and want to have fun.

Raid Times:
Friday: 7:30pm – 11:30pm EST
Saturday: 7:30pm – 11:30pm EST

<Turkeyism> is a weekend raiding guild that raids two nights a week from 7:30 – 11:30pm EST on Friday and Saturdays.

In Demand Classes:
Paladin (Holy/ret)
Druid (Balance)
Priests (Shadow)
Hunters (Marksmen/Beastmaster)
Warlocks (Affliction/Demonology)
Monks (Mistweaver/Windwalker)

(We prefer the classes listed above but all exceptional applicants will be considered.)

Guild Expectations:
So as a guild there are a few things we expect our raiders and recruits to do/know.

First, we expect our raiders/recruits to know their class fairly well. They should also have a good grasp of the encounters by either having first-hand experience, or by watching tutorials and kill videos online. Knowledge is power as the saying goes.

Second, we expect players who wish to be part of the core raid team to understand that attendance and showing up on time to raid is important to the success of the guild. We understand when real life issues come up, however it isn’t fair to the other 19 players who showed up if you continuously miss raid because of “reasons”. This is why we want to make sure that our raiders/recruits understand that by joining our raid team, you are making a commitment to the rest of the group to show up every week. Ultimately, we are all individuals working together towards a common goal and our success or failure as a group depends upon people committing to the team.

Third, we expect our raiders/recruits to be able to take criticism from others. If we notice that you could improve in any manner, we won’t hesitate to point it out. We won't ever attack others for making mistakes, but we will politely let them know of their blunders and how they could improve.

Fourth, raiders/recruits should be willing to sit out for certain encounters. We know it isn’t the most fun thing to have to sit out on a boss fight, especially if there is loot or if you’ve worked hard getting to that encounter. However, not all fights are created equal and sometimes we have to ask players to sit out in order to have the best group composition to complete the encounter. Your willingness to sit out won’t be forgotten and we try to make sure that everyone gets a chance to kill the boss and get loot.

Fifth, all recruits are expected to present WarcraftLogs in their applications. This will give us an idea of how you handle mechanics and how well you performed. We understand that your time is valuable and so is ours. By looking at your WarcraftLogs we can get an idea if you can perform within the required range were looking for before bringing you in to raid with us.

Finally, our guild is made up of players in their early 20’s/mid-30’s and our chat can sometimes get spicy and very adult oriented. We can sometimes talk about off the wall stuff, some of which can get very “Rated R” very fast.

      OUR GOAL:
Our goal is to create/maintain a cohesive, tight-knight, long-term family oriented raid team(s) where everyone has fun. In order to accomplish this, each member must understand that they, as an individual, are a part of the team, and are responsible to the whole group to bring their A game every raid night.

Experienced Raiders - Many of our players have played since Vanilla/BC and are retired hardcore players who just want to have fun while raiding casually
Friendly community - We help our guildies whenever possible so as to help with progression. This is to include running mythic+, alt runs, advice on rotations or with enchants/gems.
Class Knowledge - We are a raid full of competent players that know their class and push themselves to the best of their ability and expect for you to do the same
We come prepared! Flasks, food, etc.
Achievement Junkies! We do weekly achieve runs!

Class Knowledge - We are seeking raiders who know their class' capabilities and limits and seek to push these limits
Prepared - Someone who is always prepared for a raid (flasks, food, etc)
Situational awareness - We do not want to have to call out every ability that every boss does every time they cast it.
Personality - Long story short, if you’re a prissy drama queen who complains about everything (or anything in this case) you will find your time here very short lived. We do not tolerate ragers, beggars or scammers.
Intellect - You need to be smart, we’re not asking you to calculate the entropy of a black hole, however, we don’t want to have to explain things more than once because it takes away from valuable raid encounters
Attendance - We require 90% attendance. We understand that things come up in real life and you won’t be able to attend every raid, and we accept that, but if you miss raids because you just can’t commit to our schedule, there are better guilds for you.
Team Effort - We expect our raiders to be team players who help each other, respect each other, take on challenges and roles suited for their class, and work together towards our raids success

Humor - Whether in guild chat/vent, there is always something to laugh about
Understanding - Most of our guild is either in college or working adults with families. We understand real life schedules and family situations. Real Life > Wow.
Honesty - We will always be up front and to the point from day one. You will receive mature and constructive criticism from our Officers if we believe it will help you to perform better

      <Fepix – Magtheridon> - Alliance
Sick of pugging, looking for mythic progression, wanting to get into the guild raiding scene or just want an active discord to have a laugh in? Fepix could be the guild for you!
        About us:
Fepix is community raiding guild founded and run by a group of friends. Every Tier our main aim is to get the ahead of the curve and then to progress mythic in a calm and casual environment. Although we always seek to progress and improve as players, we like to maintain a lightheartedness and friendly atmosphere within our community. As a guild we are always eager to assist our community in gearing as well as to allow them to access content they wouldn’t otherwise be able to.
        Weekly Events:
Guild ‘Open’ Raid: (20:00-23:00 realm time Friday)
All guildies are able to sign up to a relaxed raid on a Friday evening - no commitment week to week, just sign up and drop in on any relevantly geared alt to have some fun!
Progression Raiding: (20:00-23:00 realm time Sunday and Monday)
These events are mandatory for all raiders. All raiders and trials are expected to turn up to every raid. We appreciate real life commitments are important however, so it is greatly appreciated for raiders to alert officers beforehand if they are unable to make a raid so that we can update the roster for the night as appropriate.
Guild ‘get shit done’ mythic keystones: (Tuesday evenings)
This is when all our guild groups tend to push keys or do our weekly chests, it will be easy to find a group and have a laugh! However we do have several members that are willing to push keys all week round.
Becoming a Raider:  Aspiring raiders should meet the following requirements:
Reliability – the ability to have high attendance to raids, to arrive promptly at raid time, and should something come up that would stop you attending, to let an officer know ahead of raid time.
Adaptability – the ability to learn from mistakes and to show a bit of initiative in encounters to make those small plays that go above the norm that could potentially aid in the raid's success.
A laid-back personality – the ability to remain calm when you make or others make mistakes.
An off spec or a geared alt – Although this isn't necessary, it will make you slightly more valuable to the raid if you can play an interchangeable role based on the attendance of that raid or the demands of the encounter.
Logs – We would like to see some evidence of performance before we start a formal trial of you, this can take the form of a log from any raid difficulty along with a description of what role you performed in the fight mechanically, or by simply attending our open raid events under the supervision of an officer.
        Loot distribution:
We operate on a loot council system which requires the ‘RCloot Council’ addon. Our loot council has a good knowledge of priority stats and trinkets for all classes as well as how large upgrades are to the overall raid performance, therefore loot will be distribute as best benefits the raid as a whole.
As a trial you won’t be prioritised for loot, however this doesn’t mean you’ll be completely disregarded.
        Application Process:
We are always open to applications from established raiders, people wanting to get into the raiding scene for the first time or people just sick of pugging and wanting a community of people to do content with.
In order to apply whisper one of our recruiting officers by one of the listed means. After a short exchange where they establish your aspirations within the guild, aspiring raiders will invited to a private discord room for a short interview with an officer and the raid leader Summer.
In this interview we will discuss:
      Any previous experience
      Logs (if provided)
Your knowledge of your class, role and raiding as a whole
How well you will fit into our guild community
Your favourite pizza topping (pineapple is an instant /gkick)
If you succeed in your interview we will gladly invite you to the guild as a raider trial. Our trial process approximately lasts 2 weeks or until we are confident you can reliably perform to an acceptable standard. Within this process you will have weekly contact with your recruiting officer and the raid leader to feedback on your performance and to ensure you are enjoying your experience within our guild.
        Recruitment Priority:
We are currently looking for dps as a priority for our mythic progression. Any Death Knights with a blood off spec would be very desirable  However this still means we are open to applications from all other specs and classes as well.
We are hoping to bolster our raid team in preparation for BFA where we will continue with the same aims and system.
If you are interested in applying please message one of our recruiting officers on either discord or
      Summerset (Raid Leader): Meep#2725 / Discord: Renkin#7628
      Codeded: Novice#2211 / Discord: Chucknorris30#5520
'Big Daddy' Chris (Guild Master): Syconix#2181 / Discord: Syconix#7498
If you feel like watching some of our raids or mythic keystones, Chris streams our runs on:   - Come down and say hey!

<Exo> is an old guild from Dragonblight which semi-recently transferred to Stormrage in search of mythic raiders. We are a guild full of experienced raiders always looking to expand our roster.
We are not a world first guild nor do we aim to be. Our primary goal is to get loot and have a good time, however this still means on progression nights we do expect you to show up, put on your serious face, and kill some shit.
Our raids are on 3 nights a week; Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9pm-12 Server Time (EST). The Monday raids are optional farm/alt nights (Normal/Heroic) with Tuesday/Wednesday being mandatory progression nights.
Currently we are in need of any competent DPS, off specs are always a welcome addition but not required. Performance and skill will be looked at above gear, experience, or class.
We do not have a minimum item level required to join our raid team, however we will require you to catch up in our Monday farm-runs up until you are at a mythic level.
If you have any questions or are interested in joining or trialing with us please add Pasha#1800, Java#1849 or Bushido#1988 on bnet to talk with an officer.

Hi I've been a semi-active Wow player for 11 years now and been a part of a Raiding Guild for several expansions. Usually I just get by on the guides here on icy-veins or other similar sites for talent and gear recommendations but for Legion it seems in order to tell if something is really a good upgrade or not I'm going to have to start Simming my character myself. Can anyone here recommend a good guide on how to get started with it?
      Thanks for any Replies
