Recommended Posts

The first hotfixes yesterday were pretty small and didn't have a lot to go over, but today's are quite significant: Broken Shore buildings get cheaper, most classes get PvE tweaks and fixes, Cathedral and Nighhold get some bugs ironed out and more.

Dungeons and Raids

  • Cathedral of Eternal Night
    • Group Finder groups should now properly end the dungeon with Mephistroth.
  • The Nighthold
    • High Botanist Tel’arn
      • Solarist Tel'arn and Naturalist Tel'arn now properly mirror High Botanist Telarn's current health when they spawn after Nightosis and all throughout the fight.
    • Spellblade Aluriel
      • Fel Stomp (Mythic difficulty-only) once again properly displays its visual.

Hunter

  • Unerring Arrows bonus is now 4% per point (was 10% per point).

Adjustment by a few percent would have been okay, but this, wow...

Nerfed from a potential 40% down to 16% before anyone has even gotten to rank #4. And here I was thinking I would some day appreciate the vulnerable mechanic.

Blizzard has perfected the art of the heavy-handed nerf.

^ This

54 ranks pre-7.2 gave you enough AP to get to like 16M AP into the fourth trait.

This makes that trait way less appealing now. Adding extra points into the other exising traits probably offers a better increase in power but of course they'd never refund us the AP we spent on those 4 points to put somewhere better.

Got to rank 3 indeed, didn't play much else (also EU here).

Sad but true, when spending the AP it felt great now all i want is a refund :(

Meh I'll live, to be fair in a few weeks my AK level will be high enough that I can gain AP quickly enough to just get all the other traits. Hopefully.

I'm thinking most people who are serious about raiding may be able to reach Tomb while having at least one point into the last trait so it's probably not as much of a big deal and refunds aren't really needed yet.

lol yet another 50% at once nerf. Why do they take such huge steps these days?

Do they even test their stuff before releasing it? Doesnt looks like it because otherwise there should be no need for such HUGE adjustments. And it is also really funny that they already start hotfixnerfing things before they even fixed all those broken things.

- Gosa not doing any dmg at all at the moment
- HB not doing dmg / spreading fever when primary target dies (ok at least this one was hotfixed today)
- many MANY other classes with AoE skills seem to have similar problems (Monks, Paladins) so i can see a pattern / generel issue here...
- Vampiric blood only increasing health by 30% ignoring the weapon perks
- raid bosses that went totally nuts and wreck havoc on everybody

Just to name a few :).

Death Knight

Frost DK's have been getting some heavy nerfs lately. First Blizzard nerfed Perseverance of the Ebon Martyr 50%; now a 66.6% nerf to Runic Chills and 50% nerf to Thronebreaker .  I get the nerf to the helm and the gold trait, but the nerf to Runic Chills is excessive and makes this talent almost worthless, it won't add an extra Sindragosa's Fury  to a normal raid encounter at 1 second, what is the point of this talent? The cooldown of Sindragosa's Fury is 300 seconds, so now to get an extra one I'll have to Obliterate 300 times in a fight, I cast about 100 obliterate per fight, at 3 seconds this talent worked at one second it's worthless.

On top of that they nerfed it before most players even got these traits, they cant have enough data to justify any nerfs to them.

We've looked at the Mythic+ Tier List for the first time in Patch 10.2.6!

Dragonflight Season 4 adds a new world quest for Spark of Awakening.
To get your Spark of Awakening, you must complete a different quest every week.
The weekly quest is available from Therazal in central Valdrakken. There are 3 options, but only one is active every week, similar to how Awakened raids rotate.

      Dragon Isles Quest
Participate in a Community Feast Participate in a Hunt Lay siege to Dragonbane Keep Zaralek Cavern Quest
Protect the Researchers Under Fire Loot a Secured Shipment (Suffusion Camp) Complete a Time Rift Amirdrassil Quest
Earn 50 Bloom during the Superbloom Complete a Superbloom Plant 3 Dreamseeds Quest Rewards
Completing any of the 3 quests above grants the Season 4 spark fragment (Splintered Spark of Awakening) via Weekly Awakened Activity and a Cache of Awakened Storms.
You will need two Splintered Spark of Awakening and 250 Flightstones to create one Spark of Awakening.

You will find Squirt in the Garrison Menagerie, but you will need a Level 3 Garrison. Use your Garrison Hearthstone toy to get to your WoD Garrison.
You can combine this week's event buff, Sign of the Critter, with other items like Safari Hat toy and pet treats (Lesser Pet Treat / Pet Treat) for even more XP bonus, which results in your pets reaching max level in just 2 battles!

Today's hotfixes are still very Plunderstorm-heavy, but we do get fixes for more achievement-related mount issues and PvP catch-up, in addition to the limited time event's adjustments.
      March 27 (Source)
      Achievements
Fixed bugs causing mounts related to A World Awoken to be unavailable, including Bestowed Ottuk Vanguard, Bestowed Trawling Mammoth, Bestowed Thunderspine Packleader, Bestowed Sandskimmer, Bestowed Ohuna Spotter, Coralscale Salamanther, Stormtouched Bruffalon, and Taivan. Player versus Player
Fixed an issue that prevented Splintered Sparks of Dreams from dropping from PvP sources while eligible for catch-up. Plunderstorm
The Storm’s fury swells! Lightning strikes during the final stage of the Storm are faster and more dangerous than before. There is now a delay of 20 seconds after being revived where players no longer drop collected Plunder. Additional enemies now spawn at Witherbark Village, the wild area northeast of Go’Shek Farm, and the wild area between Witherbark Village and Boulderfist Hall. Fixed an issue where swapping back to default sword and gun appearances were not saving correctly. Fixed an issue so that now, picking up an additional rank 2 spell while the same rank 2 spell is equipped properly grants the rank 4 version of the spell. The Captain’s Orders quest “X Marks the Spot” now requires 1 item to be picked up (was 2 items).
