In today's hotfix hat-trick we have the already announced Legion Assaults remover from Pathfinder, a lot of changes to the Assaults themselves, a few changes to the Artifact Challenges and more.

Achievements

  • The "Defender of the Broken Isles" achievement is no longer required as part of the Legion Pathfinder, Part Two meta-achievement.

Developers’ notes: The rotating Legion Assault schedule is designed to have them active at varying times of day over the course of a given week, to accommodate different work schedules and available free time. We're hesitant to have an Assault last for too long, because they stomp on the entire World Quest content of a given zone for the duration, potentially leaving players with nothing to do there once the Assault is complete. But this design doesn't mesh well with an important achievement that requires completion of all four zones - if anything, it causes stress over scheduling and potentially missing specific zones during the cycle. The Defender achievement was never intended to be a major obstacle on the path to flight in the Broken Isles; its inclusion was more for thematic purposes and completeness. As such, we're removing it from the meta-achievement required to unlock flying.

Artifact Challenges

  • Arcane Mages can no longer use an immunity, such as Ice BlockIce Block, to remove Arcane Biology.
  • Fixed a bug that was preventing some players from being ported back to the mage tower when leaving the scenario.

Assaults

  • While the Assault in Azsuna is active, Prince Farondis should now be visible to eligible players in Farondale.
  • Vile Soulwardens in Val'sharah are no longer hesitant to engage in combat.
  • Spires of Dread can no longer suffer damage from players' AoE abilities, and they no longer turn to face nearby players.
  • Jarod Shadowsong will now appear for players at the base of Black Rook Hold if they leave the terrace before completing "Battle for Val'sharah".
  • Drol'maz will now respawn even if his Dark Ritualists were not killed with him.
  • Destruction of Fel Spreaders will now grant group credit for “Defense of Emerald Bay”.
  • Fixed a bug where players were not receiving quest credit if they were in a raid group during the intro Legion Assault quests.

Broken Shore

  • The Sentinax should no longer advertise that it is finished recharging when it hasn't.

Classes

  • Druid
    • Fixed a bug that caused a Druid to sometimes be disconnected when casting TyphoonTyphoon.

Dungeons and Raids

  • The Nighthold
    • Skorpyron
      • Resolved an issue in which Arcanoslash could place an Arcane Tether on a non-struck tank target.

Items

  • Royal Dagger HaftRoyal Dagger Haft now absorbs the intended amount of damage. For Brewmaster Monks, this absorb amount is always counted after StaggerStagger has reduced the damage.

Player versus Player

  • Death Knight
    • Ice BlockIce Block can now be cast by the Death Knight after being copied by Dark Simulacrum.

I am actually so excited about this. Dark Simulacrum is by far by favorite ability in the game. Fun that DK's can now go full Lich King cosplay and put ourselves in ice cubes.

Ehhhh DK's could always do that, it was just bugged and it wasn't working

      Patch 7.3.2
      Instead of releasing Patch 7.3.5, Blizzard went with the odd numbering and released Patch 7.3.2. Main goal of the patch are bug fixes and tuning in preparation for Legion's last raid Antorus, the Burning Throne. In addition to that, the patch introduced a new Primal Sargerite vendor and some exiciting lore details have been entirely omitted from the official patch notes for obvious reasons.

      Who We Are
      Tequila Sundown is a growing raid team formed within the <Karma Horde> guild on US-Stormreaver. Lead by a husband/wife team with high-level raiding experience dating back to WotLK, we're a "positively determined" progression team that maintains a light-hearted atmosphere while tackling mythic difficulty content. We're mature adults with jobs and family seeking like-minded players who have a passion for the game but want to avoid the needless angst or drama that often gets associated with progression raiding. We log on to have fun - so come have some fun with us!

      A Team Within a Community
      Our raid team is one of four within the larger guild of <Karma Horde>, which was formed back during WotLK. As such, the guild and Discord are very active and social. There are always people around online and in-game. The community atmosphere is welcoming and friendly to players of all levels. The guild enforces a Code of Conduct that has zero tolerance for hate/offensive speech.

      We care more about the people we play with than their item levels or progression rankings. We want players who are going to log in on non-raid nights and be down for all the other things we're into: pushing mythic+, doing world quests, PVP shenanigans, achievement hunting, hyper-competitive fishing.. there's so much to do and so many ways to enjoy the game. This is our favorite hobby and we'd like to play with you if it is yours, too.

      Progression Goals
      We are 7/11-Heroic 11/11-Normal ABT.
      We strive for a fun environment that takes the challenges of mythic seriously and giving the content the respect it deserves. Our aim is, as all mythic teams, full clear of content but with always keeping the friendly spirit of camaraderie alive. Performance matters, but so does staying positive and finding the fun in the difficulty of a raid.
      We do not require mythic raid experience to join our team but we do expect mythic-level dedication and accountability from all of our raiders.

      Raid Days/Times
      Our mandatory raids are:
      Tuesdays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
      Thursdays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
      Optional:
      Sundays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
      Sundays are for raiding the previous raid difficulty.

      Recruitment Needs
      DPS: YES. Will consider all, but would love to pick up a Hunter and a Mage for ranged, and add an Enhance Shaman, Windwalker Monk, or Survival Hunter for melee. 
      Tank: NO. No current needs.

      Today we have some nerdscreams and the raid setup from Method's Argus kill, stealth hotfixes for the encounter, overall endboss stats for all of Legion as well as the Exorsus World 2nd Aggramar kill video.
      The race to World First ended today as Method continued their recent dominance of Legion's raids and took down the probably final boss of the expansion, a mere 8 days after it was released (or 7 days after they started progress). We've already covered the WF itself, but there have been plenty of new stats coming after the kill, including the wipe count and raid setup. But first let's take a look/listen to the nerdscreams as the boss went down, somewhat less enthusiastic than usual I'd have to say:

      Method also shared what stealth hotfixes happened while they were progressing on the final boss, not mentioned in any official notes:
      We then have the raid composition for the kill itself, featuring 12 different classes including 3 rouges, 3 mages and 2 hunters:

      And on to the wipe count, it took 320 failed attempts to get the world soul down as we already mentioned, and here's a comparison table for all the Legion endbosses, including the time they stayed alive for:

      The race itself isn't quite over yet, as only Method have managed to end the Unmaker and finish up Antorus, and so the silver is still up in the air. Will Exorsus secure their expected second place finish or will the Asia guilds climb further up in this tier? Limit has also had the reset for two days now and seeing how crucial the gear from the 2nd clear is they still have quite the head start over Style War and Alpha. And let's not forget current 4th place holders Memento, who also might make it an all EU top 3. There are quite a few combinations that are open, so keep following Method.gg's live coverage to find out how it all shakes out, or check back in here when some more kills happen.
