Blizzard outlined a list of changes coming to Elemental Shamans in Patch 8.1 that should be available on PTR by the end of this week.
We have the first round of improvements Elemental Shamans in the next content update.
Earth Shock damage decreased, Lightning Bolt damage increased. In-flight Lava Burst will now benefit from Flame Shock cast after it. Exposed Elements (level 15 talent), High Voltage (level 60 talent) removed. Earthen Rage is now a level 15 talent (up from level 90). Two new talents have been added, but we don't know much about them right now. Both are named after existing Artifact traits, but those are probably just placeholders (thanks @Stormy). As the patch 8.1.0 information starts to comes out, we wanted to share the current plans of what is being changed for Elemental Shaman. Core Ability Changes:
Shifted some damage from Earth Shock to Lightning Bolt. Elemental Shaman is the only lightning based spell caster. However, over time, Lightning Bolt has gone from being a significant portion of your total damage to one of your least damaging abilities. It should be a powerful and effective spell for you to cast, and not something that feels like a burden to your rotation. Earth Shock will still be your hardest hitting spell, but Lightning Bolt should feel a bit better as part of your rotation.
Lava Burst has had its functionality changed behind the scenes to allow an in-flight Lava Burst to gain a guaranteed critical strike from a Flame Shock cast after the Lava Burst has been cast. This change should help your initial spells cast against a monster, boss, enemy player, or whatever else feel much better. You can cast Lava Burst before combat, and when it finishes, cast Flame Shock, and the Lava Burst will gain the critical strike benefit from your Flame Shock.
The level 15 talent Elemental Blast will now always pick a different secondary stat buff when causing an Mastery: Elemental Overload. The level 30 talent Master of the Elements can now also benefit a Physical damage spell, allowing it to increase the damage of an Earthquake. The level 100 talent Stormkeeper now also increases the damage of your next two Lightning Bolts by 250% in addition to its existing effects. This damage bonus will also apply to the Elemental Overloads of Lightning Bolt from Stormkeeper. The Master of the Elements and Stormkeeper changes are primarily to help keep balance between single target damage and area damage of the talent rows. Master of the Elements will now affect your next Earthquake spell to keep the talent more competitive when dealing area damage, and Stormkeeper will grant you two really powerful Lightning Bolts that also cause Elemental Overloads when fighting just a single target.
The level 15 talent Exposed Elements has been removed, and the level 90 talent Earthen Rage has taken its place The level 60 talent High Voltage has been removed. New talent in the level 60 row: Call the Thunder New talent in the level 90 row: Surge of Power When looking at the whole sum of changes made to Elemental Shaman this expansion, we feel that some of the passive talent choices weren’t holding up well, and had no interaction with how you played the game at all. We’re adding some experimental new talents that should allow some additional decision making on how you choose to use some of your abilities. Please keep in mind that both of these new talents, as well as all of the other changes, are still under iteration and may change entirely throughout the patch 8.1.0 PTR cycle.
Game Director Ion Hazzikostas today unveiled how to unlock the new Allied Races in Patch 8.1. The good news is that you don't need to grind new reps to Exalted, but you must still complete your faction's War Campaign.
In the events following the Siege of Zuldazar, the bond between our new allies and factions will truly be forged and that's when their are going to join their respective factions.
First, you need to be Exalted with Proudmoore Admiralty (Alliance) or The Zandalari Empire (Horde). The second requirement is to complete the War Campaign.

Tides of Vengeance is the first content patch of BfA and it will be available for testing on PTR by the end of the week. It's time for the Alliance to strike back. Incursions are a new feature reminiscent of Legion assaults. We're going to be looking at Saurfang, Tyrande (her feelings and the aftermath of seeing Teldrassil burn in front of her eyes), and what has become of Vol'jin. Heritage Armor is coming to non-Allied Races. Dwarves and Blood Elves are first. No massive rep grind is behind this. If you're at max level and Exalted with Ironforge, you can start the quest for racial identity and get Heritage armor. On the Blood Elf side they will explore the Dead Scar (not many know that it was the aftermath of Lich King's incursion). New Warfront is coming. Alliance is going to try and reclaim Darkshore. The Warfront is heavily themed after Undead vs. Night Elves. The outdoor zone of Darkshore will be updated similar to Arathi Highlands for max level content. We're going to have two new Islands. A vrykul-themed Island as well as a gloomy abandoned Gilnean city. New Raid Zone "Siege of Zuldazar" is coming: It's quite different from any raid they've done before. The foe in this raid is the opposite faction. They have two complete separate experiences. Slight spoilers ahead, one of the thing that the Alliance War Campaign is leading to is a direct strike at the Zandalari Fleet. You will join the Alliance forces including Jaina and fight your way up to the pyramid ascending to the top to confront Rastakhan. Horde players will rush to its defense, beginning on the northern side of the pyramid ending with fighting Jaina in the High Seas. The raid will house a total of 9 bosses. Players will be able to recruit Kul Tirans and Zandalari Trolls after the raid. More details can be found here. The Crucible of Storms (located under Shrine of the Storm) is a raid with 2 bosses that opens later after Zuldazar and hints at Azshara. It's the Trial of Valor of the expansion. It is going to give the Horde more Stormsong Valley lore, because they haven't had the chance to be properly introduced to the zone. The patch is going to refine Azerite traits, the goal is to make them more complex, closer to set bonuses that have been removed. The patch also focuses on system-wide improvements to the game and refinements of various features. Champions of Azeroth reputation will be made account-wide. Reputation achievements will be account-wide as well, but Alliance & Horde exclusive reps don't double count. Race-specific transmog requirements are going to be lifted to faction transmogs. If you unlock it on one Horde race you can use it on other races without additional grinding. Game Director Ion Hazzikostas revealed what's coming in Patch 8.1 titled Tides of Vengeance.

Alliance players will be able to recruit Kul Tirans after the Siege of Zuldazar raid. Requirements have been recently revealed and you will need to complete the Alliance War Campaign and be Exalted with Proudmoore Admiralty.
Only Druids have been confirmed as a playable race so far and Kul Tiran Humans have really cool Druid forms!

If you've ever been in a guild, chances are you've come across various boss mods, since they're pretty much mandatory for raiding. BigWigs and Deadly Boss Mods are the two best-known boss mods for World of Warcraft, but this post isn't about recommending either of those addons, but merely to address the future of Deadly Boss Mods by the author and help a community member out.
All these years, Deadly Boss Mods has been maintained full-time by a single developer, Adam aka MysticalOS who has been tirelessly providing updates for the addon since its inception, without getting much in return, despite helping millions.
