Tuxedo Pants achievement? Well that can't be right.

Every achievement is a tuxedo pants achievement if you put your mind to it!

Veteran players can talk to Chromie in the new expansion and pick their expansion for leveling in the 10-50 range before heading into the Shadowlands, but the community has an issue with the system right now upon reaching Level 50.
The current problem with Chromie Time is that you get forced out of it and can't finish the story as soon as you reach Level 50.
Simply put, a countdown will start, informing you that your Timewalking Campaign is about to end, and at the end of it, you get teleported to either Orgrimmar or Stormwind, depending on your faction.
The current system does not allow you to finish whatever you were doing and many players do not like that because it goes against the very core of the Chromie Time feature, which is to experience the whole story and setting as they were.
Imagine you're leveling in Northrend, but get booted to a capital city at Level 50, and when you return to Northrend to finish the story, you will be one-shotting mobs that will be Level 30 due to scaling.

A good solution for the problem would be to turn off XP gains and allow players to wrap up the story, as suggested on the official forums. What do you think?

Sadly, the double reputation buff has ended today and is no longer available on live servers.
UPDATE: With today's Shadowlands delay announcement, Blizzard has decided to flip the switch and keep the double reputation buff active. We do not know currently for how long the buff is going to last.
It's October and Blizzard has disabled the Impressive Influence buff on live servers that was active through the month of September, meaning you will no longer receive double the reputation in the Broken Isles, Argus, Kul Tiras, Zandalar, and Nazjatar. The buff was especially useful for Reputation Paragon cache farming.
Winds of Wisdom, the double XP buff, remains active until the release of the Shadowlands pre-patch, but you shouldn't worry too much because leveling has been sped up immensely, and you won't even notice when it's gone.

The Impressive Influence double reputation buff was scheduled to be removed at the end of September, and it was, as we recently reported. However, many players are now reporting that it's returned just in the past 20 or so minutes!

This could just be a glitch or similar, but considering today's huge announcement of the Shadowlands release date delay, it seems much more likely that Blizzard have extended the Impressive Influence buff at least up to the launch of the pre-patch on October 13th! And here's the full screenshot with the date and everything, courtesy of our own Seliathan!

We'd also like to thank @Aegis2566 for pointing this out to us in the first place:

Blizzard today posted an update on the development of Shadowlands and we learned that the pre-patch will go live on October 13.
John Hight, Executive Producer on World of Warcraft today revealed the release date of the Shadowlands pre-patch!

In the meantime, we’re excited to announce that beginning October 13 we will be releasing the Shadowlands pre-patch, which lays a lot of the groundwork for the expansion and includes our revamped character leveling, new-player experience on Exile’s Reach, and a host of new character customization options. And once we get closer to Shadowlands’ release, you’ll be called upon to defend Azeroth against a resurgence of the Scourge during our pre-launch event.

Update: It seems the opposite of the title might up being true, as we just found out Shadowlands will be delayed and the pre-patch will be coming on October 13th! This means it might be a long-lasting one, depending on when exactly the new expansion release date will be! Check out the official post on the delay and pre-patch release date here.

Regardless of when it hits, what we've started calling Schrodinger's pre-patch will be the shortest in WoW's history. Battle for Azeroth has held that honor up until a short while ago, but even if we see the patch arrive next week, it will still only last for 3 weeks aka 21 days, compared to BfA's 4 weeks/30 days. Perhaps it makes sense that the longest expansion in WoW history is followed by the shortest pre-patch, but with 9.0.1 bringing so much content with it, it is a shame it turned out this way.
Expansion Pre-Patch Release Date Expansion Release Date Pre-Patch Duration (Days) The Burning Crusade December 5, 2006 January 16, 2007 42 Wrath of the Lich King October 14, 2008 November 13, 2008 30
      Cataclysm October 12, 2010 December 7, 2010 56 Mists of Pandaria August 28, 2012 September 25, 2012 28 Warlords of Draenor October 14, 2014 November 13, 2014 30 Legion July 19, 2016 August 30, 2016 42 Battle for Azeroth July 17, 2018 August 14, 2018 28 Shadowlands ??? October 27, 2020 ??? We can also compare Battle for Azeroth's pre-patch and Shadowlands' in terms of major features, to see what players could do in the respective pre-patches:
      BfA:
3-week long story campaign Stat squish Class changes (incorporating artifact traits into the baseline and more) PvP talent changes Profession changes, First Aid removed War Mode Legacy loot mode Small number of character customization options (BE eyes, Orc posture) Shadowlands:
Scourge invasion event 2-week long story campaign Level squish Class changes New player experience (Exile's Reach) Chromie Time leveling Newcomer chat and guides Allied Races no longer require exalted Many new cosmetic options Character creation screen updated Heirlooms changed Barber shop gender change Legion Artifact transmog non-spec specific Aside from the world quests and other event-related activities, the main draw of the the Shadowlands pre-patch is the leveling, as it's significantly faster than it's been so far (even with the currently active XP buff taken into consideration), and many players are eager to get some characters ready for the expansion launch.
We're still hoping for the Shadowlands pre-patch to hit next week, putting it at 3 weeks duration, but we've already started preparing for the worst, aka a 2-week run time, which we recently discussed.
