Patch 7.3.2: Argus the Unmaker Trinket Procs

Recommended Posts

In the initial 7.3.2 PTR build, we looked at new trinkets from Argus the Unmaker. There are six different trinkets with two affixes. Warrior theorycrafter Archimtiros tested them on PTR and found out when their secondary affix procs.

Each trinket applies a different mark that has two affixes.

Primary Affixes

The primary affix activates when equipped,

  • Mark of AggramarMark of Aggramar -Taking damage has a chance to increase your Armor by 1,197 for 15 sec.
  • Mark of Aman'thulMark of Aman'thul - Your spells and abilities have a chance to grant you 1,235 Speed, Avoidance, and Leech for 12 sec.
  • Mark of EonarMark of Eonar - Your healing effects have a chance to grow an Emerald Blossom nearby, which heals a random injured ally for 23,392 every 2 sec. Lasts 14 sec.
  • Mark of GolgannethMark of Golganneth - Your damaging abilities have a chance to create a Ravaging Storm at your target's location, inflicting 61,960 Nature damage to all enemies within 6 yds over 8 sec.
  • Mark of Khaz'gorothMark of Khaz'goroth - Your damaging attacks have a chance to make your weapon glow hot with the fire of Khaz'goroth's forge, causing your autoattacks to do [ 929,400% of Mainhand Weapon Speed ] additional Fire damage for 12 sec.
  • Mark of NorgannonMark of Norgannon - Your damaging spells have a chance to increase your Intellect by 1,629 for 18 sec.

Secondary Affixes

The secondary "Empowered by the Pantheon" affix activates only if all six marks are active at the same time in a raid (Mark of the PantheonMark of the Pantheon). Archimtiros has shared the following screenshot:

The first six are the primary affixes (personal buffs) from the trinkets and the bottom five (except the last one) are the secondary affixes (empowerment buffs). Archimtiro found out that the secondary affixes have a 5% uptime.

  • Mark of AggramarMark of Aggramar - Aggramar's Fortitude: When empowered by the Pantheon, your maximum health is increased by 652,038 for 15 sec, and you are healed to full health.
  • Mark of Aman'thulMark of Aman'thul - Aman'Thul's Grandeur: When empowered by the Pantheon, your Intellect is increased by 1,414 for 15 sec.
  • Mark of EonarMark of Eonar - Eonar's Verdant Embrace: When empowered by the Pantheon, your next 6 direct healing spells grant the target a shield that prevents 43,469 damage for 30 sec.
  • Mark of GolgannethMark of Golganneth - Golganneth's Thunderous Wrath: When empowered by the Pantheon, your autoattacks cause an explosion of lightning dealing [ 870,400% of Mainhand Weapon Speed ] Nature damage to all enemies within 8 yds of the target. Lasts 15 sec.
  • Mark of Khaz'gorothMark of Khaz'goroth - Khaz'goroth's Shaping: When empowered by the Pantheon, your Critical Strike, Haste, Mastery, or Versatility is increased by 1,413 for 15 sec. Khaz'goroth always empowers your highest stat.
  • Mark of NorgannonMark of Norgannon - Norgannon's Command: When empowered by the Pantheon, you gain 6 charges of Norgannon's Command for 15 sec. Your damaging spells expend a charge to inflict an additional 34,321 damage to the target, from a random school of magic.

So in other words the 2nd proc only happens when the equip proc for all 6 happens at the same time?  That's some.... RNG FOR YOU....

That needs some serious fixing. Nah, scratch that. Reworked completely

This appears to be blizzards answer to raid stacking. Early on you can stack raid to get immunes or for range or melee depending. Later on you will have more flexibility but only if you did not raid stack or distributed trinkets to non stacked classes.

I assume you'd start every fight with it, but beyond that, does seem rather RNG.

Yeah, for most of the 2nd affixes it'd be good along with opening hero/lust and prepot, but if someone's doesn't proc then not sure I like that idea... Also does that mean it's impossible for the 2nd affix to proc if you only have 3 of the trinkets instead of all 6?  Because then that's just stupid imo.

I believe so, yeah.

Warbands are pretty great and solve a lot of issues players have had in previous expansions, but "just" making most things account-wide and offering a separate bank, among other things, wasn't enough!
As MrGM found out, there's a new set of achievements aimed at helping players with alts, as each character you get to level 80 (the new maximum in the expansion) will give you a 5% experience boost for the next characters you level. The  Warband Mentors: The War Within set of achievements even stacks up to 5 times, so each subsequent character you get to 80 will increase the buff, all the way to 25%! The buff is Warband-wide, so any character you level after that will get the buff.

Making it easier to level alts is always a welcome change, and this is really making us love Warbands even more!

Here's another nice addition to the game coming in the new expansion, with some really interesting mole mounts being added! Keyboardturn found all their variations and their mount special animations as well, so let's take a look.
      And here's the mount special:

Unfortunately ground mounts are getting very out-classed with the Dynamic Riding feature, but we're still hoping for that rumored dynamic ground mounts feature! Perhaps these could dig down and move below ground?

Here are this week’s updates to the Dark Heart PTR:
      USER INTERFACE AND ACCESSIBILITY
Several changes have been made to improve the experience of finding Mythic+ groups in Premade Group Finder: Advanced filters will now only appear for max level characters. Filter options will now save between sessions. Language filters will no longer appear for characters on North American realms. Declined applications will now save between refreshes. When previewing an ensemble or arsenal, the Dressing Room will now show a list of items included in the bundle. Each item can be viewed independently by clicking its name in the list. Solo Shuffle scoreboards will now show the results of the match (Victory, Draw, or Defeat) in the title.

Game Director Ion Hazzikostas has confirmed that the Dracthyr race will have more class options in The War Within. However, this feature may not be ready in time for the expansion's launch.
This update was highlighted in a tweet by MrGM, who shared insights from a London content creator interview about the Dracthyr.
The plan is to introduce the ability for Dracthyr to play as other classes in War Within. Emphasis on playing in Visage form. Required animations for other classes are actively being worked on. The implementation is unlikely to happen at launch, but targeted for early in the expansion cycle. Placeholder for tweet 1780748422066188399
