In Patch 7.3.2, Legendary items can be upgraded to item level 1,000. Blizzard also added Legendary tokens and a ring that empowers traits from the Netherlight Crucible.

Upgrading Legendary Items

In Patch 7.3.2 Legendary items can be upgraded to item level 1,000. The Cursed Shard quest is started by looting Cursed ShardCursed Shard. The item has a variety of sources. It can drop in LFR or you can get it by doing the first Random Heroic Dungeon of the day. Once you bring it to Arcanomancer Vridiel in Dalaran, you will get 10 Wakening Essences. Collect 50 Wakening Essences to get Awoken Titan EssenceAwoken Titan Essence and upgrade a Legendary item to 1,000.

Sources

The Kirin Tor emissary bag did not reward any essences on PTR, but this can be random and needs further confirmation. Maybe they can only be collected from Argus faction bags. Antorus bosses drop a random amount of essences. Garothi Worldbreaker dropped 4 in LFR.

Source Amount Status
Mythic Order Hall Cache (Once a week) 20 Wakening Essences Confirmed
Antorus Bosses (Each boss) Wakening Essences (LFR 1st Boss) Confirmed

New Legendary Items

Two Legendary item will be added in Patch 7.3.2. The legendary ring will be available to players that defeat Argus the Unmaker on Normal difficulty or higher and the trinket is a drop from Argus the Unmaker. The ring's affix increases the effects of Light and Shadow powers from the Netherlight Crucible by 50%. You can find more information in our Netherlight Crucible guide.

Recently, Blizzard updated one of the Path of the Titans trinkets (Aman'Thul's WisdomAman'Thul's Vision) to item level 1,000 and now it is a Legendary item that does not count toward the 2 Legendary cap. Path of the Titans trinkets can be upgraded with Pantheon's BlessingPantheon's Blessing up to item level 1,000, so we're not sure yet, if all trinkets will be of Legendary quality after upgrading them to the maximum item level. More information can be found here.

Legendary Tokens

Patch 7.3.2 adds new Legendary tokens to help keep gameplay on your main rewarding. Legendary tokens will start dropping when you collect ALL Legendary items on your class, in other words, on your main. Collecting ALL Legendary items designated for a single specialization won't suffice. Legendary tokens are BoA, so they can be sent to your alts (even when they are on a different realm). Use them to discover a random Legendary item.

FAQ

  • You can start collecting Wakening Essences right away when Antorus opens. You don't need to loot Cursed ShardCursed Shard or accept any quests first.
  • All Legendary items that drop after Antorus opens will have item level 1,000.
  • All crafted Legendary items will be of item level 1,000 by default when Antorus opens.
  • Awoken Titan EssenceAwoken Titan Essence is used to upgrade a single Legendary item to item level 1,000. You need to collect more Wakening Essences in order to upgrade additional Legendary items.
  • Legendary tokens won't drop unless you collect ALL legendary items on your class.
  • Blizzard mentioned in the latest Q/A that the team is closely monitoring the drop rate of Legendary items. Two legendaries are a standard for raiding, so they may increase the drop rate of the first few Legendary items on a character.
  • At the moment, Blizzard has no plans to increase the Legendary item cap to 3.

If you have any questions feel free to leave them in the comments.

All legendary items for a class? So not only will I need to start playing disc, I will need to get all disc legendaries?

Urghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

You can change loot spec without playing disc.

I am more curious as to how the tokens "transform". Let's say I have all legendaries for my DH and a token just dropped. Will it be a random class token that never changes or wIll it be a DH token that automatically changes into a DK token when I mail it to my DK alt?

It will still take forever though, especially with all-class/all-spec legendaries pushing down the drop rate. :(

My understanding is that it's the former.

The tokens are really pointless to work towards to, don't bother. They are for people who already have a main that has all legendaries for their class.

If you have an alt you really want legendaries for, you would be better served by just playing that alt directly.

Ouch..that seems kind of counter-intuitive, giving players a semblance of control through a random token...
Oh well, I suppose I don't have to worry about it, coz my main is a druid (4 specs to go through)  lolz~

Its not designed for that. Its literally just a way for players who have maintained the same main for the entire expansion to still get legendary rewards for playing without feeling like their time is wasted on their main.

By the way, you don't even have to change your loot spec to receive legendaries of the other specs. Once you have received all the legendaries in one spec, the others begin dropping at random whether you want it or not.

So another shit addition to an already shit system. Marvelous.

I care much more about most alt legendaries than I do the legendaries for my never-played specs such as tank.

Great news about essence, it will easy to farm it and boost that 2-3 legendaries what is the most important for raiding.

About tokens.. this is ridicoulos. I play on my new account since august, i have 450 hrs played gametime on my main warlock, what is i think a lot, and still don't have all legendaries for my main affliction spec after i do all emissary, clearing every week all actual and old content. So really?! I'm really hope this is not a final concept.

When i have all leggys for my Monk will then the tokens drop randomly for different classes on my monk?

I think it will use a smart system to determine alt classes on your account.

Lol, can't even imagine that. You get this token for a class you don't even have. You level it up only to find out that you got a bad utility Legendary :D.

Knowing Blizzard, that is very much something they would do. xD

Why so much hate for the legendary tokens?
I barely do anything and already have one legendary left to get on my main, those tokens are also still not coming right now. I get a legendary every ~1,5 weeks, which means I am gonna be more then ready to get the rest even before antorus...and as said, I am doing MUCH less than I SHOULD be doing, considering trying to get better in myth progress.
When it comes to "now I need to play [other specc] to get the rest".....no you don't.
You don't even need to change your lootspecc. When you have all legendaries for one specc, you just get the other specc legendaries when a new one drops, happened multiple times now.
(e.g. outlaw back and bracers when specced and lootspecced subtlety)

They are adding a feature to give your twinks legendaries...and there's still people complaining...

People are complaining because you MUST HAVE ALL LEGENDARIES FOR YOUR CLASS before these tokens will ever start dropping, which in my opinion, is a terrible idea. Just let them drop randomly like Unsullied tokens, albeit, at a MUCH lower rate. Problem fixed. Why Blizzard has to make everything as frustrating as possible is beyond me...

We complain because they do not fix the alt/new/returning player legendaries problem , it fixes a problem that doesn't even exist. A guy that has every single legendary on a character like you do is already playing a ton of hours so he won't really care that he needs to farm 2 legendaries to have another alt ready for raiding. A new/returning or casual player with alts though still needs to play RNG catch up with other raid members that already have their BIS legendaries while he doesn't have the time to farm on the side. Imagine i want to get back raiding in Legion and i have a generic legendary like sephuz while everyone else that was active has propably both BIS legendaries, i will never get a raiding spot until i farm and pray to RNG that i get my BIS and be able to match the dps of the other players.

I clean every raid on normal and heroic difficult every week (sometimes even LFR), do the dungeon world tour, a lot of WQs and some Mythic + runs, and I get one legendary per month if I'm lucky.

This RNG garbage needs to go, and I hope this system won't be on the next expansion.

(e.g. outlaw back and bracers when specced and lootspecced subtlety)

(Are you a rogue, or was that just a random example?)

The hate is because as-is those tokens are completely unneeded. People have been asking for some way of catch-up for legendaries (and rightly so) so newer players could get into the game and compete more easily with those who have played 24/7 since the beginning of expansion, or to make rerolling/re-speccing less punishing.

Instead they ignore that completely and give more stuff to the 1% who definitely does not need more.

They wanted to massively increase the drop rate for the first two legendaries for a character and that's a step in the right direction if it makes both legendaries show up within the first week at 110, but that completely ignores the fact 95% of legendaries for your class suck compared to your BiS. Get unlucky with two bad legendaries? Better bring out your wallet and pay $60 for a 100 boost so you can quickly reroll that character and get it back to 110 and hope that one gets better legendaries, because every moment you spend more without your BiS is wasted. But maybe that's what they want.

Instead of recognizing the problem with legendaries they just keep giving more and more additions that only really benefit those who have already been lucky to begin with. Remember spec-specific BLP? Oh you got Prydaz and Roots as your first two legendaries? Well too bad, your BLP is shot for all specs. Got your two BiS spec-specific legendaries as your first two? Congrats, now you also get to have your first two legendaries for your off-specs easier.

It would make more sense if legendary tokens started dropping when you already collected them all in one spec. That way if you did have them all for that spec, you'll still have a chance to get a legendary item for other specs or classes you play regularly especially when you need to keep your loot specialization set for a boss's item that can only drop for that spec (such as a trinket for dps spec vs healing trinks vs tank trinks). As it stands now, it's a slap in the face for the token system players have asked for since the inception of legendary items, including me. This is very disappointing and I hope everyone will take the time to let Blizzard know, civilly.

In addition to our coverage that can be found by visiting the Patch 7.3.5 hub, there are a few changes worth noting:
The patch does not contain any major class changes. Combat resurrections mechanics in Mythic Keystone dungeons now function just like in raids. When you start a run, you begin with a single charge and an additional charge is accumulated every 10 minutes. All combat resurrection spells share a single pool of charges to a maximum of 5 charges. Accounts protected by an Authenticator and SMS Protect gain four extra backpack slots. All dungeons reward Personal Loot now. The official patch notes do not take the recently announced changes to Legendary tokens in Patch 7.3.5 into account. Allied Races will be available later and there's no single mention in the official patch notes about them. Blizzard (Source)

      New Features
      A SCALING WORLD
Every zone in Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, Outland, Northrend, Pandaria, and Draenor now use the level scaling system introduced in Legion. This new scaling system greatly increases the amount of options you have when deciding where to quest and when to move on to the next zone.
All corresponding dungeons and the rewards therein now scale as well.
      ULDUAR TIMEWALKING
A long-forgotten evil has awakened once more. Travel back in time with 10-30 other adventurers to cleanse Ulduar of Yogg-Saron’s evil influence. While you journey through this memorable Wrath of the Lich King raid, your character will be scaled to player level 80.
Your fate is sealed. The end of days is finally upon you and ALL who inhabit this miserable little seedling. Uulwi ifis halahs gag erh'ongg w'ssh.
      SILITHUS: THE WOUND
Players who have completed Antorus, The Burning Throne will be summoned to your capital cities, from which you’ll travel to Silithus to investigate the strange events surrounding the impact of Sargeras’ blade. Look for this new questline upon logging in.
      NEW BATTLEGROUND: SEETHING SHORE
The Alliance and the Horde fight over a precious new resource, Azerite, in this new 10v10 battleground. Seething Shore is a king of the hillbattleground where the first faction to collect ten pieces of Azerite from randomly spawned nodes, wins.
The Seething Shore will become available as the story in Silithus unfolds.
      Updated Features
      LEGENDARY ITEMS
Arcanomancer Vridiel’s hard work has paid off, and he now offers a token that transforms into a random Legion legendary for your specialization, for 1,000 Wakening Essences. You can also continue to come to Vridiel to upgrade the Legion legendary items you already have for the same cost of 300 Wakening Essences.
      MYTHIC KEYSTONE DUNGEONS
Combat resurrections mechanics in Mythic Keystone dungeons now closely mirror how they function in a raid encounter. When you start a Mythic Keystone dungeon, you will begin with one charge, and accumulate additional charges every 10 minutes. All combat resurrection spells now share a single pool of charges to a maximum of 5 charges.
      HOLIDAYS
Holiday dungeons are now available to all players starting at level 20. Items that drop from these dungeons will scale to your current level. In addition, keep an eye out for new items in many upcoming holidays, such as new Lunar Festival hats and a sturdier Sturdy Love Fool.
      S.E.L.F.I.E
Self-oriented photographers rejoice! Your S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera is now easier to obtain, and it has new background filters. Selfie Cam Mark I is available at level 15 in Stormwind or Orgrimmar via a quest, and you can upgrade to the Mark II Selfie Cam after completing a new level 30 group quest.
We’ve also added the following backgrounds, but you’ll have to figure out how to unlock them.
Argus in the Sky Twilight Sky Sha Sky Firelands Sky Frostmourne Sky Changes
      ACHIEVEMENTS
With the update to Ulduar difficulty, the following changes have been made to Achievements that are obtainable in Ulduar: All existing 10-player and 25-player Ulduar Achievements have been moved to the Legacy -> Raids tab. New Achievements have been added to the Dungeons & Raids -> Lich King Raid tab. Anyone who earned either the 10- or 25-player versions of these Achievements should receive the new Achievement upon logging in. The new Glory of the Ulduar Raider Achievement should now award both the Reins of the Rusted Proto-Drake and the Reins of the Ironbound Proto-Drake mounts. CLASSES
Touch of the Grave (Undead Racial) damage increased by 25% for Undead Death Knights, Hunters, Monks, Rogues, and Warriors. Hunter Beast Mastery Cobra Shot (Rank 1) damage reduced by 50%, and cost increased to 50 Focus (was 40). Cobra Shot (Rank 2), learned at level 3, reduces cost by 10 Focus. Cobra Shot (Rank 3), learned at level 52, now increases damage by 100%. Survival Raptor Strike (Rank 1) damage reduced by 29%. Raptor Strike (Rank 2), learned at level 52, now increases damage by 40%. Monk Windwalker Blackout Kick now costs 3 Chi (was 1) when it is learned at level 3. The Chi cost is reduced to 2 with an upgrade at Level 12, and reduced to 1 Chi with another upgrade at Level 22. Windwalker, Misweaver Rising Sun Kick (Rank 1) damage reduced by 41%. Rising Sun Kick (Rank 2), learned at level 36, now increases damage by 70. Priest Discipline, Holy Smite (Rank 1) damage reduced by 33%. Assassination Sinister Strike damage increased by 30%. Shaman Liquid Magma Totem, Healing Stream Totem, and Healing Tide Totem slightly changed to inherit stats properly. Warlock Affliction Shadow Bolt damage increased by 100%. Warrior Arms Mortal Strike (Rank 1) damage reduced by 38%. Mortal Strike (Rank 2), learned at level 38, now increases damage by 60%. Slam (Rank 1) damage reduced by 38%. Slam (Rank 2), learned at level 38, now increases damage by 60%. Developers’ notes: All damage changes to class abilities listed above are for low-level balance, and are neutral at level 110. DUNGEONS
All dungeons now reward Personal Loot. ITEMS
Uncommon, Rare, and Epic quality items now have the same potential item budget at every item level. Weapon melee (white) damage is now the same for uncommon, rare, and epic weapons at all item levels. Developers’ notes: This changes the power of lower item level weapons and armor to modern standards; all items above item level 463 have always functioned this way. TOYS
A few toys that cause players other than the caster to take involuntary action (such as the Piccolo of the Flaming Fire or Tickle Totem) no longer function on targets outside the instigator’s party or raid group. The Neural Silencer is also more effective against several of these toys. Fixed a bug that caused player characters to not look into their S.E.L.F.I.E. cameras directly. USER INTERFACE
Accounts protected by an Authenticator and Blizzard SMS Protect gain four extra backpack slots.

      Allied Races
Patch 7.3.5 contains files for Allied Races, giving Blizzard the opportunity to enable them at any time after the patch goes live. During PTR testing, we looked at unlock requirements, special Heritage Armor, racials, tabards, and unlock scenarios. Four Allied Races will be available before Battle for Azeroth launches. Dark Iron Dwarves and Zandalari Trolls are gated behind the new expansion's campaign. We still have no information about their class options, but in a Q/A, Blizzard mentioned they are exploring the option to allow Dark Iron Dwarves to be Death Knights and Zandalari Trolls will be able to roll Druids.
      Unlock Requirements
You must purchase Battle for Azeroth and have an existing character of at least level 110 on the destination realm of your Allied Race character. Allied Races are also gated behind reputation and various achievements. All requirements are account-wide.

      Faction Embassies

      Ogmot the Mad Foreshadowing Riddles
Ogmot the Mad is a new rare mob that can be found in Silithus. He drops Journal of Ogmot the Mad, where we learn how eager he is to become the vessel of the Old Gods. The journal has ten pages and covers interesting events.

      Seething Shore Battleground

Trial of Style Season 2 Rewards
A couple of new items and rewards have been added to the Trial of Style micro-holiday. New sets cost Trial of Style Tokens.

      Ulduar Timewalking
Ulduar is the second Timewalking raid, available during Wrath Timewalking. Defeating Algalon now rewards both titles (Observed) and completing the Ulduar raid achievements both mounts (Glory of the Ulduar Raider). There are probably no plans to introduce a transmoggable Val'anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings and the raid now has a single difficulty.

      Vicious War Fox Mount
The PvP mount datamined back in Patch 7.3 is finally available for 1 Vicious Saddle.

      Zone Scaling
A highly anticipated feature of 7.3.5 is the introduction of zone scaling. Zones have level caps, difficulty and quest rewards scale with your level. At level 58, you can choose between Outland or Northrend, at level 80 it becomes a choice between Cataclysm zones & Pandaria. Find out more about zone scaling below!

      Zone Caps
In addition to zone scaling, all zones now have chapters and completing a fixed number of quests is no longer required for Loremaster achievements.

The Postmaster has an important job for you! Check out our guide for the Postmaster quest chain of Patch 7.3.5.
A new quest line is started by looting Lost Mail in Dalaran in Patch 7.3.5. Earn a pet, the Postmaster title, and a portable mailbox on a 3-hour cooldown!
To learn more about Patch 7.3.5 check out our content hub here.
      Prerequisites
The quest is started by looting Lost Mail that spawns every two hours at the mailbox near the stairs to the Violet Citadel (Dalaran). Alternatively, players that have completed the quest line will have a tradable Lost Mail in their inventory.

Note: The quest chain can only be started after you either loot Lost Mail, or get one from other players that have completed the The Total Package achievement.
      Quest Chain
      Lost Mail
Lost Mail is started by looting Lost Mail. The first objective is to deliver the Lost Mail to Madam Goya in Dalaran Underbelly. She's at the Black Market Auction House. If there i a lot of PvP going on, it's a good idea to hire an Underbelly Guard for 5 minutes from Raethan for 5 Gold.
Next go to a mailbox. You will receive the following letter from the Postmaster:
      Dear <Name>,
It has come to my attention that you handled the delivery of a missing parcel. For that, you have my gratitude! We are in somewhat of a crunch here in the mailroom, and I have need of a capable courier. If you are interested, please visit my office. You will find the entrance behind the Magus Commerce Exchange.
The mailroom can be accessed by clicking the Mail Tube (flower pot) near the pet graveyard. You will be teleported to the mailroom and the Postmaster will have a new quest for you.

      Return to Sender
Accept Return to Sender and return 9 Rejected Letters that have broken loose in the mailroom.

      A Huge Package
For the next quest, you need to deliver 1,362 pieces of solid stone to the Ethereal Portal in Dalaran. Heft the solid stone in the mailroom, use the Mail Tube to return back to Dalaran and deliver the stone to the Ethereal Portal near the Antonidas Statue in Dalaran. After picking up the stone, you will only be able to walk really slowly (Encumbered), but abilities like Blink or Sprint can still help you to move faster for a brief period of time. At the portal you learn that Nexus-Prince Haramad is mad, because he received another delivery of the blasted stone. Return back to the mailroom to turn in the quest.

      Priority Delivery
An adventurer of another time has forgotten to loot Invincible's Reins from the Lich King. Use the mailroom portal to the Frozen Throne to recover it, go to Steam Pools in Feralas and find Johnny Awesome. The fastest way to get there is by using the portal hub in Dalaran to teleport to the nearest city or Cataclysm portals in Stormwind / Orgrimmar.

      Service with a Smile
You find out that Johnny already looted the steed during his raid last week and he orders you to sell Invincible's Reins to Gott Weedlespan in Feralas.
Note: During PTR testing, we found out that Gott Weedlespan is hostile to everyone that is at war / hated with Gadgetzan. We can't verify, if Blizzard already fixed this bug, but you simply can't sell Invincible's Reins to him. If you worked toward Avast Ye, Admiral! last year to purchase the Jolly Roger toy, chances are you are still hated by the Bilgewater Cartel and cannot continue the quest chain until a hotfix is released.

Anyway, Gott gives you Bulging Sack of Gold in exchange for Invincible's Reins. Return back to Johnny to turn in the quest.
      Due Reward
Go to the Sludge Fields in Hillsbrad Foothills and place Twinkles' favorite toy by his grave in honor of his memory. Teleport back to Dalaran and go back to the mailroom.

      The Mail Must Flow
Help the Postmaster sort at least 15 leters within 60 seconds. Speak to the Postmaster to start the mini-game. 6 mail tubes appear with names of the continents (Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, Outland, Northrend, Pandaria, Broken Isles). Letters with addresses (zones) will appear at the botom of your screen and you must match letters with the correct mail tube.

Examples: Cosmowrench, Netherstorm > Outland, The Argent Stand, Zul'Drak > Northrend, Astranaar, Ashenvale > Kalimdor, Deliverance Point, Broken Shore > Broken Isles, Altar of Sha'tar, Shadowmoon Valley > Outland, Gadgetzan, Tanaris > Kalimdor, Conquest Hold, Grizzly Hills > Northrend.
At this point, we had two letters from the Postmaster in the mailbox. The latest one rewarded a Bulging Package that contained Katy's Stampwhistle, a tradable Lost Mail and 24 Solid Stone.
Completing The Mail Must Flow quest grants the The Total Package achievement. After completing the quest, you can start the mini-game again and sort 30 letters in one minute to receive the Priority Mail achievement that grants the Postmaster title and the Mailemental companion pet.
The pet has the following flavor text:
"The Postmaster is often described as esoteric, mystical, even inexplicable. For the precious little known about the enigmatic mail-master, perhaps none outside of the wax seal can confirm the existence of the fantastical letter-loving Mailemental."

      Who We Are
Tequila Sundown is a growing raid team formed within the <Karma Horde> guild on US-Stormreaver. Lead by a husband/wife team with high-level raiding experience dating back to WotLK, we're a "positively determined" progression team that maintains a light-hearted atmosphere while tackling mythic difficulty content. We're mature adults with jobs and family seeking like-minded players who have a passion for the game but want to avoid the needless angst or drama that often gets associated with progression raiding. We log on to have fun - so come have some fun with us!

      A Team Within a Community
Our raid team is one of four within the larger guild of <Karma Horde>, which was formed back during WotLK. As such, the guild and Discord are very active and social. There are always people around online and in-game. The community atmosphere is welcoming and friendly to players of all levels. The guild enforces a Code of Conduct that has zero tolerance for hate/offensive speech.

We care more about the people we play with than their item levels or progression rankings. We want players who are going to log in on non-raid nights and be down for all the other things we're into: pushing mythic+, doing world quests, PVP shenanigans, achievement hunting, hyper-competitive fishing.. there's so much to do and so many ways to enjoy the game. This is our favorite hobby and we'd like to play with you if it is yours, too.

      Progression Goals
We are 1/11 Mythic, Heroic AOTC Antorus progression.
We strive for a fun environment that takes the challenges of mythic seriously and giving the content the respect it deserves. Our aim is, as all mythic teams, full clear of content but with always keeping the friendly spirit of camaraderie alive. Performance matters, but so does staying positive and finding the fun in the difficulty of a raid.
We do not require mythic raid experience to join our team but we do expect mythic-level dedication and accountability from all of our raiders.

      Raid Days/Times
      Our mandatory raids are:
      Tuesdays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
      Thursdays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
      Optional:
      Sundays 8:45pm PT - 11:45pm PT
Sundays are for raiding the previous raid difficulty.

      Recruitment Needs
Healers: YES. Will consider all specs, but would prefer to add a Holy/Disc Priest or Resto Druid.  To be clear, we have 1 core healer spot available.
DPS: No. Will consider exceptional applicants.
      Tank: NO. No current needs.

      The Nitty Gritty
If you're intrigued, please check out our wiki on the <Karma Horde> subreddit. This will give you a deeper dive into the raid team.
