Portraits are coming in 12 days.

Play Heroes of the Storm between March 27 and April 7 to receive three original StarCraft themed portraits for Protoss, Terran and Zerg. There are also heavy rumours of a new StarCraft hero and a new StarCraft-themed Brawl coming in HotS near the end of the month.

Idk if somebody put these on their profiles haha btw seriously I was waiting for a big event...why they make OW events that rewards skins, mounts, portraits, banners, sprays etc... in both games for no reason! But why they don't make such events for SC which got a big reason now! ...maybe they don't care about it haha... ok guys.. at 20th anniversary: enjoy brawl with same reward as past and 3 old portraits which aren't something really special... I can't understand this...I thought we waited 2months because they wanted to make a big event...but it's just a hero that we receive every month whether it's 20th Anniversary or no .. and new brawl that we get sometimes... sad no events...

Yeah, this wasn't my favourite brawl, though I got 3/3 in terms of winrate - something I certainly don't complain about. Falstad was just hilariously broken - the hammerang build did so much damage, to the point I realized going Secret Weapon over Boomerang would be key as it would enable me to get even more stacks for the quest safely (and by level 20 I just poked things for 1000+ health on the double hit), and then I was forced into Supports twice in a row, but that's the class I main anyway so it's not like it was bad.

This brawl was clever, but actually awful. There was only one game that the team that got the first mineral power didn't just face stomp. That was because they clearly didn't have any idea how to use it. Even with that, it gave them a huge exp lead and they snowballed the game, just slower than the other two I played.

I originally thought the game would give one of the power ups, not all 4. Which sounded interesting because you'd have a push-pull as to what you needed to do with your advantage at 50 minerals. As it is, you get 50 and just run it down mid with zero fear for 15 seconds or so.

Did not enjoy the brawl. Makes one of the worst problems HotS has in general even worse. People throw away every advantage they have because the greed for kills is too strong. It is annoying. The team who understands that getting the crystals can enable them a great push or even win them more than usual will win. And even if you get the lane all the way pushed to the enemies: once the team is more interested in the kills than the crystals and safety you can loose everything...which happened both ways.

Return of Braxis Escape would've been much better in my eyes but ohh well, can't be helped. Got the chest so I do not have to play the brawl if I don't like it nor see me getting more out of it than a chest and some slight annoyance.

On a side note: not every brawl has to be something unique for me. I surprisingly enjoyed Mages Wars more than I expected. Thing was every player started with some nice boosts and all hell broke loose (or you still played the game the used way). This mode on the other hand only has one lane, no healing base and got an element that gives the team who already is winning even more power (because they dominate the only lane where you can get crystals and you loose yours once you die, makes comebacks much harder if the enemy team does not make huge mistakes). Luckily enough no team got Sylvanas...would've turned the slight annoyance into a nightmare.

Mastery Rings are a new feature that was added to the game in the latest balance update. They are the successor to legacy Mastery Skins that existed back then. When you reach level 15 and 25 with a certain Hero, you will be able to purchase these augmented rings for 5,000 Gold each.

We’re adding a new feature to Heroes of the Storm that will allow you to charge into battle with an extra bit of flair: introducing Mastery Rings!
Reaching level 15 with a hero you own will unlock the ability to use gold to purchase a Mastery Ring for that hero, which will be displayed in game as an extra adornment of your hero’s regular selection circle. Additionally, when you reach level 25 with that hero you can then purchase an even more distinct Mastery Ring with gold.
      FAQ
Q: Can I get Mastery Rings for more than one hero?
A: You can get Mastery Rings for as many heroes as you like, given than you’ve reached at least level 15 with those heroes.
Q: Do I purchase these rings for each Hero separately?
A: Yes. These rings signify experience playing individual heroes and let other players know that you know how to play your chosen hero, so Mastery Rings are hero-specific.
Q: When will Mastery Rings become available?
A: Mastery Rings are live now!

      General
After completing the Scarlet Heist Questline, a set of 3 new dailies will become available. Some of Rexxar's talents (Easy Prey, Flare, Hunter-Gatherer) have been nerfed. Varian's Twin Blades have been nerfed and his Taunt has been buffed to incentivize Varian players to try tanking for their teams more often. Ana has been slightly buffed and they removed the awkwardness of the way Vampiric Rounds asked players to constantly target swap after 5 Shrike stacks. Deckard Cain's potions now display their impact location before they land and the radius of Fortitude of the Faithful has increased. Li Li's Hindering Winds and Surging Winds talents swapped positions. Lt. Morales has a new Medi-Drone talent which gives her limited multi-target healing. Clemency and Inquisition now remove 1 stack of Desperation, Zeal can be activated to increase Spell Power by 25% and reduce Armor by 25 for 5 seconds on a 60 second cooldown. Saintly Greatstaff has a new functionality, and Whitemane has a new talent at level 20 which can be used to grant a target ally a permanent Zeal. Qhira's Finishing Touch has been buffed to help equalize the level 1 talent tier. Junkrat's base health and regeneration have been increased and we have some follow-up changes to even out his talents (see below for details). Li Ming received survivability buffs (Health + regen). Astral Presence was removed and the functionality implemented into Force Armor. Blizzard (Source)

      General
The Scarlet Heist: Daily Quests Mobsters are back! After completing the Scarlet Heist quest line, a set of three new daily special event quests will be available. Using a Special Event dialog, you can choose one of those three quests and complete it for a Scarlet Heist Chest reward, once a day, until the event ends on December 3rd, 2019, PST. New Feature: Hero Mastery Rings A lot of you may remember the old 'Mastery Skins' and we are excited to bring back another way for players to show off their mastery of individual Heroes. With today's patch, players will be able to spend 5,000 gold to purchase augmented Hero Rings for any Hero over the levels of 15 (Level 1) and 25 (Level 2). These Mastery Rings are permanent when purchased and will be placed over the top of the normal Hero Ring, becoming visible to all players while in a match. We are extremely excited to know what you think about these and appreciate hearing any feedback you have on them! Heroes
