The First Daughter of Cenarion will be reworked in the latest content patch alongside Diablo.

The goal of the rework is to increase her talent diversity, enhance wisp abilities and offer diverse and rewarding approaches to combat.

Rework Highlights

  • Lunara's WispWisp ability now has more baseline strategic potential. After hiding in a bush for a while, her Wisp's vision range grows larger.
  • Lunara's older wisp talents have been replaced with Sentinel Wisp (available at level 1). The talent increases the bonuses granted after her Wisp has hidden, allowing it to see over obstacles and spot Stealthed enemies, all at an increased range.
    • After remaining in a bush for 5 seconds, Wisp's vision radius is increased by 200% and reveals the surrounding area.
  • Endless Spores (new talent) decreases the cooldown of her Crippling SporesCrippling Spores ability when she's poisoned two or more enemies at once.
  • Accelerated Contamination (new talent) reduces the cooldown for Noxious BlossomNoxious Blossom.
  • Both talents pair well with Splintered SpearSplintered Spear which allows Lunara to spread her toxin to up to four foes with a single basic attack.
  • Siphoning ToxinSiphoning Toxin is now available at level 4, allowing Lunara to maximize her healing as she stacks poison on foes.
  • Intensifying Toxin (new talent) greatly increases the damage of Nature's ToxinNature's Toxin when enemies have three stacks.

Interesting ideas, even if they are quite simple. The best thing is freeing up a whole tier, so that we can have more flexibility.

Think you meant to say Cenarius there.

That’s an interesting way of reworking Raynor

Long live the glorified lane minion. Hope when they do rework him to preserve his banter with Diablo from the tutorial. "That's one more for me, Red!" lelol ecksdee

Interesting rework. I don't like that they push for Splintered SpearSplintered Spear to become even more of a dominant choice, always liked Wild VigorWild Vigor better. Intensifying Toxin with Unfair AdvantageUnfair Advantage... RIP in Pepsi

Detailed analysis:

At Lv 1 we have:

Sentinel Wisp (new)

Natural Perspective

Hippity Hop: Increase Dryet's Swiftness bonus (new)

So, looks like Lunara has a 'Wolf Run' now. Honestly, Sentinel Wisp looks like the weakest choice out of these 3.

At Lv 4 we have:

Blossom Swell (Increase Noxious Blossom range and radius) (moved from Lv 1)

Siphoning Toxin (added function: When an enemy Hero has 3 stacks of Nature's Toxin, increase the healing by 22 per second.) (aka 200% increase) (moved from Lv 7)

Nature's Culling (moved from Lv 7)

Imo, if you want to pick up Endless Spores later, Blossom Swell is gonna be your default choice here, since it improves Noxious Blossom's reliably to hit multiple heroes.

At Lv 7 we have:

Splintered Spear

Choking Pollen (moved from Lv 16)

Wild Vigor

These 3 talents looks like the same as the current ones.

At Lv 20 we have:

Forest's Wraith (Thronwood Vine applies Nature's Toxin)

Boundless Stride

Intensifying Toxin (new)

Galloping Gait

Here's something very interesting: Forest's Wraith makes Thronwood Vine applies Nature's Toxin, which means, the original Thronwood Vine DOES NOT apply Nature's Toxin anymore. This is a pretty huge nerf to this heroic. Even then, if you want to build around spreading poison to multiple heroes (with talents like Splintering Spear and Endless Spores), you're still going to pick Thronwood Vine and Forest's Wraith.

We also have a W talent at Lv 13 (which is likely going to be Endless Spores) and a trait talent at Lv 16, which is not the case right now.

Even though TLV and Raynor are extremely outdated, they still decided to rework an already powerful assassin...

I'm still hoping for new rework annoucements so these won't feel pointless.

Our twenty-fourth Heroes of the Storm Meta Tier list for the month of January is here!
Welcome to Icy Veins's most belated Meta Tier List for the January 8 patch. The goal of this list is to try and detail game's current metagame state. The prime goal of such lists is to inform players regarding popular and trending team composition drafting strategies (i.e. the drafting metagame).

Meta heroes define the metagame. They are very often banned or picked right away, as they generally dictate the pace of most drafts and matches.
Generalists form the core of your team and are generally picked after Meta picks have been distributed. They tend to work on most maps, and as part of and against most team compositions. Since this group includes most heroes, I elected to split it into three tiers. High-tier rankings are a result of performance (i.e. win rates) and popularity (i.e. pick and ban rates). This means that heroes with high win rates can be set in low tier; the opposite may also be true.
Situational picks shine on specific maps or as part of specific team compositions.
