FatbossTV are back with a preview of Uldir's final boss, G'huun.

The encounter consists of three phases. In the first phase, you're going to fight off minions, while G'huun is encased within the chamber wall. In order to start phase two, players must deposit Power MatrixPower Matrices to trigger Reorigination BlastReorigination Blasts and force G'huun from his protective lair. The final phase begins at 25% and looks like a simple burn phase, because Reorigination BlastReorigination Blasts will no longer be cast and Putrid BloodPutrid Blood will begin to stack indefinitely.

Gh'uun (Blood God)

In Uldir, the titans had hoped to find a solution to the Old Gods. But when they experimented upon the Old Gods' unending, ravenous need to corrupt, thy unexpectedly created a perfect avatar of that desire. G'huun is nothing but rot, pestilence, and decay, the ultimate parasite who cannot stop itself from consuming its host until it is gone.

Overview

G'huun begins the encounter encased within the chamber's wall, calling forth minions to assault his foes. To dislodge him from his lair, the Reorigination Drive must be fully charged by depositing Power MatrixPower Matrices within it. Once active, G'huun begins his assault in earnest. G'huun can be stalled by continuing to power up the Reorigination Drive, causing Reorigination BlastReorigination Blasts to weaken him. Upon reaching 25% health, G'huun unleashes his might, destroying the Reorigination Drive, preventing the use of Reorigination BlastReorigination Blasts.

Cool boss, too bad the tank damage was way overtuned so we couldn't get to last phase but seems like it won't be Xavius v2.0, the heroic version was intense as is and looking at Dungeon Journal the mythic mechanics are INSANE, can't wait to see how it turns out!

Btw a small typo on the original post, in order to get to P2 (G'huun freed from the wall) you need to deposit the Power Matrices while dealing with the adds, once you put in the first ones and get through the Reorigination Blasts AoE he comes out. You can continue putting in Power Matrices while fighting him in P2 to stun the enemies and deal significant damage to everything in the room.

Also, "titants " was written in the boss description, wonder if that is typo is reflected in game, Tit Ants sounds fun 😄

In this article, we're taking a look at content worth finishing before Battle for Azeroth goes live.
Ahead of the Curve: Argus the Unmaker & Cutting Edge: Argus the Unmaker
Both achievements will be removed once the pre-patch goes live. If you don't have the achievement yet, the first round of Mythic Argus nerfs has already been deployed to live servers, so defeating Argus on Mythic difficulty should be easier now.
      The Chosen Achievement
The achievement will become unobtainable in Battle for Azeroth.
Placeholder for tweet 1008845805501837316 A Challenging Look (Mage Tower Artifact Apppearance)
Blizzard confirmed that the Mage Tower will be permanently up at some point before Battle for Azeroth goes live, but they did not clarify if they meant the pre-patch or the actual expansion. Given how Azerite traits no longer work on 8.0 PTR, it's safe to assume we're going to see an announcement regarding the permanent Mage Tower in the coming days.
      Field Medic Achievement
First Aid will be removed in Battle for Azeroth and all achievements related to the Profession will become Feats of Strength.
      Brawler's Guild Removal
Brawler's Guild will be on hiatus with the release of BfA, but it's very likely that we'll see it return later on in Patch 8.1 or 8.1.5. Don't forget to get the Brawler's Burly Basilisk mount!
      Strand of Ancients Removal
The battleground will be removed in Battle for Azeroth. Achievements will turn into Feats of Strength (Master of Strand of the Ancients).
      Kirin Tor Summoning Crystal Mount
Violet Spellwing will not be available soon. Finish the "Blood of a Titan" quest by looting Blood of the Unmaker from Argus on Heroic difficulty or higher.
      Legion Mythic Difficulty Mounts
As is tradition, the drop rate of Mythic difficulty raid mounts will be reduced to 1% when Battle for Azeroth goes live. Legion only introduced two Mythic mounts to the game:
Gul'dan (Fiendish Hellfire Core) Argus (Shackled Ur'zul)

With Battle for Azeroth just two months away, Blizzard has updated the old Legion login screen with a new one in this week's Beta Build 26871.
The background is comprised of a sunlit sky and birds flying over the walls of Lordaeron, while in the forefront, we see various artifacts that solidify Battle for Azeroth's main theme -- the upcoming faction conflict.
The main title music has been previewed earlier and you can listen to the whole track below.
      Blizzard (Source)
With every expansion, our musical mages reach deep down into their souls and summon a tableau of sound to accompany your next adventure. Building upon a variety of musical themes from World of Warcraft over the years, composer Glenn Stafford has infused his magic into the new main title for Battle for Azeroth, “Before the Storm.” Sit back, relax, and let the music carry you into the heart of Azeroth.
“Before the Storm” was composed and arranged by Glenn Stafford; features additional music by Neal Acree, Sam Cardon, Clint Bajakian, and David Arkenstone; and includes classic World of Warcraft themes by Jason Hayes.

In case you missed it, there was a storytelling panel back at E3 a few days ago with Steve Danuser, Sr. Narrative Designer, Terran Gregory, Project Director and Christie Golden, Sr. Writer. The full title of the panel is World of Warcraft Storytelling: Bringing a Robust Universe to Life Through Different Mediums,  and covers how the writing team connect all the disparate WoW lore and story sources, including books, comics, as well as all other online and in-game sources.
With Battle for Azeroth being such a divisive expansion (perhaps intentionally), even way before its launch, WoW's story is under quite a big magnifying glass as of late, with Horde players in particular not being satisfied with the direction their faction/warchief is going, so this is the perfect time to buff up on just how the story department thinks and functions.
The team discusses the interconnectivity of expansion stories, the bigger role and quantity of in-game cinematics, the relevance of the faction conflict in WoW, character deaths and much more:
