Nexomania leaves the Nexus on June 11 and now's your last chance to buy skins and mounts related to the event, before they become unavailable for another year.

So the event starts at June 12 with the arrival of Yrel, but the map and skins will arrive only June 19, is that right?

Perhaps. Last I saw, there weren't a set date for Yrel, so it might well be she will arrive with the other things.

Frankly I don't know why they start the event a week before any of the actual content gets added, but that might just be me.

The Echoes of Alterac posts says Yrel will be on the 12th.

I think it's kinda bullshit that all the event skins stayed the first 2 weeks high cost in shards even after the first two weeks of them being out. Making it hard as F*CK to get them by way of shards rather then paying the ridiculously high gems/real money cost for them in the bundles.

I get that that's so they can try to make more money on them. I mean come one Blizzard, everything else that you can get at any time goes down in shard cost after that first two weeks release period. BUT the event skins that we can't get again till AT LEAST a year later, if ever again, you keep at the high shard cost for the entire time they're able to be acquired?! That's some REAL bullshit!!

If you're that worried about it then stuff that isn't out for a limited time should have more like a month or two wait for the shard (and gold for heroes) price drop rather then two weeks. Then at least it wouldn't feel like a 'fuck you for not spending money' on all the event skins and mounts and such while they're around.

Yeah, event items only drop in price for the next year they return. Only event skin that dropped for me was ETC mariachi, had to buy boxing Kharazim for remaining shards, of course couldn't afford any legendaries. Problem is, with how many sprays and portraits they add, it's even harder to obtain shards if you are getting lots of non-duplicates of that stuff, and even duplicates give very small amount of them. Unlike in Overwatch, game doesn't even prioritise non-duplicates so there is still a chance to even get same skin over again or more likely to have legendary that isn't from event.

Yeah, the RNG gods weren't in my favour this event either. Only got an ETC skin and a bunch of sprays. Luckily i still have enough shards to at least craft lunara

I got Kharazim and Dibbles, as well as Tychus (two different skins) and Stitches.

I crafted Tracer and Garrosh.

I also got a lot of fun Sprays which I'm going to use. In regards to the Portraits... meh, you can only really use one 😞 .

Sadly, I slept last night and forgot to jump on this morning before the event ended and grab 5 chests in hopes of a legendary before crafting me some skins & mounts with the 3500 shards I had saved up. Oh well... I guess I'll have to hope me, HOTS & enough money and time are around next year. Assuming they give access to them then that is.

Unfortunate, at least you can think of all the shards you saved :)
